Cat Sitting in River Bend

About: I grew up on a farm with many types of animals and hard work. I have worked in veterinary clinics as a kennel attendant and now a veterinary assistant for over 10 years. I have experience with dogs, cats, and exotic pets. I'm comfortable caring for elderly and sick pets as well as giving medications. I live and work in the Liberty MO area. I am an early morning person and can do early morning drop in visits and walks before 7 am (including weekends and holidays). I typically get my lunch break between 12-2 pm. I can come and do a drop in visit or do a short walk over my break. Evenings are a possibility but are less flexible and open. I can offer enrichment with treats, playtime and exercise. I like a good cuddle session as well as a hyper wrestling match, or active fetch game. I enjoy being out in God's creation and am open to more nature based walks if you have an active curious pup (like my own dog). I think cats should also be enriched and loved. I like playing games with cats and helping them feel comfortable and spoiled. I have owned a lizard of my own and am not afraid of reptiles or rodents. I think exotic pets need enrichment, entertainment, and love as well.

About: I'm retired, so I'm available most of the time. I have worked with two different German Shepherd Rescues as a foster mom. I also volunteer at the local regional animal shelter. I have helped train many dogs over the years. I also have quite a bit of cat experience, as well as birds, fish (both salt and freshwater tanks) and reptiles, I enjoy cats, and find that they are all very unique. I enjoy being a pet sitter, providing safety and love for them while their parents are away. I offer FREE MEET & GREETS! (A Meet & Greet is necessary for the first visit, no exceptions). Also, I need 3 days advance notice in order to consider your pet for boarding. I have many reviews in my profile from past sitting jobs. Thanks I am retired and available as noted on my calendar. I make every attempt to feed dogs and cats at the same time as the owners. I find that keeping pets on a schedule helps them to feel safe and comfortable when their owners are away. My dog, Sky, is AKC "Star Puppy" and "Advanced Obedience" trained. I have a strong skill set for helping anxious dogs. I understand how to keep a pet engaged, both in general play and affection.

About: Animal-lover who started volunteering with rescues over a decade ago. Experienced with dogs, including reactive dogs(I have one of my own), cats, birds, and various other pets. Feel free to share the training commands you'd like to work on with your pet and I will try to work them in where I can during my visit. About: I’ve had pets my whole life and have always been the one friends and family rely on to care for them! I currently have three dogs and two cats, so I’m very comfortable with all kinds of personalities and breeds. I truly love spending time with animals and making them feel safe, happy, and loved. I already spend my time caring for my own pets, and I genuinely love giving animals extra attention, playtime, and extra love while their owners are away. I have walked and cared for dogs as large as Great Danes to as small as chihuahuas. I have owned my own dogs, cats. No animal is beyond my scope of care. I would love to be your go to dog walker and establish a well rounded routine of care. I will come to your place, provide my own leash, treats, and doggy bags, and will walk your dog from half an hour to an hour depending on what you are wanting. About: I have live and taken care of my own pets since I was 15 years old. I have experience with pitbulls, Shepard's, labs, corgis, and cats. I have three cats of my own right now, but have had dogs in the past Recently I have branched out and started helping my friends take care of their animals while we are one different shifts. I work at NKCH 3 days a week with rotating 12 hour day shifts. One week is Monday through Wednesday and the next week is Wednesday through Friday. I do pick up at Truman Medical Center for 8 hours, but will have those days blocked off. I love playing with animals in their own environment so they are more comfortable with the surrounding environment with different outside factors in a new area. Walks will be in their neighborhood.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

“Maggie has been excellent with Oliver. She even checked to make sure he was up to date on his tick prevention as some of the grass is tall. One walk after it had rained she dried him off prior to the end of her visit. I would definitely recommend her for all your fur babies!!!”

About: I will treat your pet with the utmost respect and love. No one should have to spend time worrying about their pets when they are on vacation, I send or post regular photos and almost always have my phone with me for any question or concerns you may have. I have spent my whole life with pets, I also volunteer with rescues, drive freedom transports for dogs, and foster when needed. I can take care of most medical needs including some IV fluids (subcutaneous), post-surgical needs and injections if needed.
