About: I'm retired, so I'm available most of the time. I have worked with two different German Shepherd Rescues as a foster mom. I also volunteer at the local regional animal shelter. I have helped train many dogs over the years. About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own.
