“Second time booking with Jenna and she did great with Louie! Will continue to use her when I need someone to check on my Louie, as she keeps me updated and lets me know how her overall visit with Louie was :)”

“Erika has been amazing with Tonka! She’s reliable, caring, and I can tell she genuinely enjoys spending time with him. Tonka absolutely loves her and is always happy to see her. It gives me peace of mind knowing he’s in great hands. Highly recommend Erika to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pup!”

“Kody took care of my two pugs for almost a month and he goes beyond what I ask him to do, he walks them late night and played with them after, he is also very easy to talk to, willing to do stuff that is not part of the job. Definitely someone I will be calling again the next time I will go out of town. Thank you very much”

About: Have taken care of many animals in my life. Had a dog since age 7. At this point I have cared for 16 dogs in my life all different breeds and sizes. Loved everyone of them. Let me help get your puppy some exercise and attention. I currently do work so I walk dogs when I'm not at work. My availability as it changes will be posted so my clients have a clear idea of when I am available. I live in an apartment so there is plenty of grass and large open space to go for walks. I do have an extra large kennel as well if needed for any pet.
“Meggie goes above and beyond. She’s been checking in on my buddy for over a month now and she always does a great job. She’s prompt and never misses a day! She’s incredibly sweet to my boy and let’s him stay outside as long as he can. I always get pictures and a nice little update, and she checks in if something seems out of the ordinary. Overall I highly recommend Meggie ♥️🐶”

About: Hi there! I’m Anna, a lifelong animal lover and experienced sitter who knows how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member. Whether your pup loves long walks, belly rubs, or just cozy naps, I make sure they get all the care, play, and affection they deserve. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities—from energetic puppies to senior sweethearts—and I always tailor my care to each dog’s unique needs. Safety, consistency, and communication are my top priorities, so you’ll always know how your pup is doing with plenty of photo updates and messages. Let’s make sure your dog feels right at home while you’re away! I do currently work full time but spend evenings and weekends at home. They will get plenty of love and affection while in our home. We have two huge dog toy bins for those who love toys! All animals will be treated like they are my own! We have a 6 foot wooden privacy fence with an huge back yard and an extra kennel if needed.
“Jessica is great with our pups during drop in visits. Both dogs (even our spicy brained boy) seem to easily connect with her because of her thoughtful and skillful approach, which sets our mind minds at ease while we’re away.”

“Tiffany is the best sitter we’ve had by far. Every time we come back from a trip, we can tell how well she took care of our dogs. It’s obvious she cares so much because she even leaves special treats for them. As long as Tiffany is available, she will always be my go to.”

“Paula provided us with secure and very loving visits for our 2 cats. She was always on time, communicated with us and very caring for our kitties. We very much appreciated her care and concern for our kitties and will not hesitate to recommend her and retain her again in the future.”

About: I provide expert care for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, and small pets. I am uniquely qualified to manage senior felines and medically intensive cats. My background includes rescue work, complex medical management, and specialized nutrition. Pet care is a lifelong passion and a core priority for me. I treat every animal in my care as a cherished family member, ensuring they receive the highest level of attention, safety, and affection. Pet care is my primary focus, allowing me to build my daily and weekly schedules entirely around the needs of the animals in my care. Because I manage a diverse range of species, my routine is structured to provide both consistent companion animal attention and precise habitat monitoring. When visiting your home, my focus is on maintaining absolute security, cleanliness, and the comfort of your pets in their familiar surroundings. Standard Companion Care: I handle feeding, fresh water replacement, litter box scooping, and dog walking. I follow your home security protocols precisely and provide regular photo updates. Advanced Aquatic Care: I check water levels, monitor filtration systems, verify water temperatures, and inspect fish closely for early signs of illness or stress. Specialized Reptile Care: I execute exact dietary plans, verify humidity levels, and ensure heating elements or UV lamps are functioning perfectly. To provide the best possible care, I always welcome written instructions, care guides, or checklists from pet parents. Knowing your pet's unique quirks and daily routine helps me keep them happy and stress-free!

About: I have the most experience caring for dogs and cats. Growing up, I always had pet dogs. Once I was finally on my own, I got my first cat and fully embraced the “cat lady” stereotype. I now have two other cats and one of them I raised from 4 weeks old. I therefore feel very experienced with bottle baby kittens. I am a full-time teacher so unless we are on a break, I am available during the week after 3pm. I don’t have any work commitments on weekends. I would follow whatever instructions you left for me regarding your pet. If I were to have any questions, I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to you.
About: I’ve had pets since I was a child and have been a natural with all pets for as long as I can remember. I am knowledgeable on animal body language, specifically dogs and cats. Being aware of animal body language helps me approach and interact with animals within their comfort zone and not stress them. Your pets are your family and I strive to treat them as such! I’ve cared for people’s pets for 2 years, including dog walking, taking dogs to the dog park, pet sitting. I have also worked with reactive dogs, and leash reactive dogs. I am not a professional trainer but as someone who has adopted a reactive dog and worked with him through it to the point he is no longer reactive, I know it can be stressful. I will strive to keep your animals away from scenarios that pushes their boundaries or causes them stress. I have been called a pet whisperer, as I haven’t met a cat or dog that doesn’t warm up to me quickly and trust me. Your dogs comfort and care is important. Your fur baby is safe with me 🐾 I have a pretty free schedule. So let me know what times or days you need and I can make it work as this is my main job right now. I follow their lead first on their trust and comfort with me. To gain this trust I read their body language and allow them space to approach and interact with me as they see fit! I try to stay present and in their sight, typically by sitting on the couch or floor to show them I am not a threat and I am calm. I talk to softly and only pet if it’s invited! Once your pet shows they trust and feel comfortable they get all the lovings and pets they want. I’ll play with them and walk with them. You tell me what your pets need and I got them!
“Mya did a great job for both my dogs, Izzy and Bella. Really appreciated the detailed report cards after each visit gave us something to look forward to. So appreciated coming back to clean potty pads put down by Mya on her last visit. Thank you so much.”

“Joseph was so kind to meet our pups ahead of time. They were well taken care of while we were away for the day. we did not worry about our pups. Lots of communication with pictures. Thank you Joseph!!”

“Megan really helped me in a last minute pinch. She was very responsive. I have a furbo camera and watched the footage later. She was so great with the pups! We didn't get to do a meet and greet ahead of time, but she confidently got in and gained their trust. She got them to potty and played with them like I asked for almost an hour. She even refilled their water. Definitely will book with her again when we need!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Maywood
I had a great experience with Jessica and would absolutely book with them again. They were reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about my cat’s comfort and well-being. I really appreciated the regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My cats were happy and well cared for when I returned, and everything was left clean and tidy. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter!

I've used Michaela for years now and and not only do I trust her with my 4 cats, but my house as well. This last trip took 10 days and not only did she come in and feed, water, clean litter boxes, but also brought them new toys and treats, and made sure my house was presentable for prospective buyers.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
