I take care of my dogs at home full time and want to get payed for it now. I'm available because my family can take care of them while I'm working. Currently avaliable any day of the week. I have a large fenced yard and constantly take my dogs for walks. I'm fine with walking dogs the normal way with leash and bags. How every you do it I'll adapt no problem.

About: Dogs and cats have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, since I was a very young kid. I have also grown up around fish, birds, gerbils, and Guinea pigs. I worked in a vet clinic for several years during high school and college, so giving medications orally or injection is no problem. I also bottle raised 3 kittens when I was 11 years old and another one when I was working at the vet until it was old enough to be adopted! I currently have two dogs of my own, and a rambunctious kitten. I do have a full time job so my availability is mostly limited to my days off on the weekends. I could be available occasionally during the week later in the evenings ( around 6pm-9pm) , and additional days through out the year when I have vacation scheduled and no plans. Fridays, Saturday’s , and Sunday’s I’m fairly flexible and free. I will care for your pets and home as if they were my own. Dogs will be supervised even if they are in a fenced yard. I encourage and appreciate detailed instructions on all of your pets needs.
“Christa was amazing! 10/10 I would recommend to someone else. She was communicative, and above and beyond. I will definitely reach out to her again whenever I need a house visit.”
About: I always insure that pets are comfortable! I’ve taken care of old cats and dogs, and I when they are old like that it’s important to meet their needs first, as most of the time they need a lot of guidance and help. I am currently going into online college, so most of my day is free! I often sit down and watch TV or play video games, but I mostly enjoy writing and drawing in my free time I personally like to ask owners how there pets are in the company of others, as well as if any weather bugs them! The comfort of my pets, and owners is always my number 1 priority! I want to make sure that they are comfortable around me, and I never approach any animal until I’ve let them sniff me, it’s important that they trust me to be around them.
“Skylar was AWESOME. Our two dogs and two cats had a great time despite their normally shy demeanors. Everyone had a great time and we were able to enjoy or vacation knowing the dogs were happy at home.”
About: I’ve cared for dogs ages ranging from newborn pup to senior. I am prepared to bathe, walk, groom and tend to your dog’s individual needs. I am available mornings, afternoons and evenings! Currently staying with family in VA and seeking work! I am an early riser and prepared to stay the night if need be. I look after my roommate’s cat at home and make sure to keep doors locked behind me at all times. I’m ready to protect your pet with the same attention!

About: I've taken care of my neighbors dog for five years. I take make sure the chores for keeping the dog happy and healthy is succeeded in the end of the time or day. I also love dogs to do whatever for them to feel safe and sound! Im currently working part time at two jobs and going to college full time. Yet I still make time to care for pets as every pet deserves some love even while their owner is gone. I live in a fourplex in parkville MO with a gated front porch. I do have my parents house in Leavenworth KS with a gated backyard but they do have 2 cats and 2 dogs. If you arnt comfortable with any of those options then I am happy to care for your dog in your home! I am a very flexible person!

About: I’ve never known a time during my life when I didn’t have a pet. My family had several dogs and I even owned some exotic pets. My current doggo is Kali, a five year old Bernedoodle. As somebody who is highly empathetic by nature, I connect really easily with animals. For this reason, family and friends always trusted me to take care of their loved fur friends. I work well with young to old pets, and am accustomed to very gentle training and care with lots of love. This is my full time gig. I’m autistic, so being around animals is both therapeutic and what I enjoy as I find it to be much less stress inducing than work that requires socialization. I also have a special connection with animals as I’m a very empathetic person and read energies well. I have a yard and a friendly, trained bernedoodle that works very well with other dogs. She’s been in training and daycare since she was a puppy. Your pets are more than welcome to have a playmate if they’re friendly as well. I also have a large crate if your pet needs kenneled. I give pets constant attention and honestly spoil them, so to me they are just another family member.

About: I have been responsible for the care of the dogs in my home since I was a little boy. Dogs have always been present in my household, both as a child and an adult. I have always believed that dogs are members of a family and I treat them accordingly. Pet care is a perfect way for me to get exercise and enjoy the company of animals on afternoons/evenings or weekends. My dog is 14 years old and no longer able/capable (or interested) in walks of any considerable distance. Caring for your dog would be the perfect opportunity for me to get exercise, teach my kids responsibility, and keep my kids off of the screens/video games. I can offer short duration stays in my home. My elderly dog will be separated from your pet so she isn't overwhelmed. In the future, I may entertain overnight stays on a case by case basis dependent on your pets temperament. In your home, I will prioritize being respectful of your space and will leave your property in the same condition I found it in. I am prepared and capable to clean up pet-related messes identified upon arrival.

About: I have a lot of watching dog experience and walking! I love all animals! I look forward to taking care of your dogs! I have had dogs in my life since I was born! I always gotta have one! Whether you have a small or giant dog, I am here to help you with what you need. Thanks for reading. I look forward to meeting you and discussing your pet sitting/walking needs. Maybe, I’ll get to tell you about my pupper Nelson! He is my minature poodle, love him! I can’t wait to hear about your dog and where you got them, etc... I love the outdoors so don’t worry, we will have a great time enjoying God’s creation! Thanks for reading, have a blessed day!
About: I have 10 years of experience dog walking for an animal shelter as a kid/teen. From that, I have learned how to interact with many different types of dogs and cats with different personalities and behaviors. I have been walking dogs, pet sitting, and caring for animals for over 10 years now. I love all animals and am very responsible. I will be very dedicated to taking good care of your pets! I have house sat for many families including dogs, cats, and birds. I enjoy large dogs and cats, but am open to caring for any and all animals. I am willing to walk dogs as far as they need. I aim to provide a sense of normalcy for animals when they are away from their owners. I am currently working 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday), so I have Friday and weekend availability to help care for pets! I also have some evening availability depending on the day. I will always strive to make animals feel safe and loved in their home and provide care that makes them feel as if their owners are still there. I want to make animals feel like they are receiving enough attention and are comfortable while under my care.
About: Ive taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old. My family always had dogs, cats, and even a parrot. I have two dogs of my own now, a cocker spaniel and German shorthair pointer. Both are wonderful with other dogs and look forward to play dates if you need boarding. Animals love me because not only do I love them but I respect them. I respect their space, I pay attention to their body language, and I know when they are uncomfortable. It’s important for someone caring for your animals to have common sense but also be smart around animals to protect themselves, and your animal from other animals. I have experience with big bully breeds, small dogs, large dogs, old dogs, immature energetic dogs, puppies, and even dogs that don’t like other dogs or people. I prefer to care for animals that are good with people and patient with strangers. I will not put your dog in a situation with another animal where it will be harmed, anxious, or uncomfortable. You can trust me to make sure your animals are fed, happy, and healthy while I’m around. I have trained many puppies and understand the many tricks they can do to reach something to chew on. Our animals deserve the same care and attention we give humans (if not more). I’ll happily send you pics while I drop in to visit your babes. I work full time but am able to stop in on my breaks or when you need me to during the day, around my schedule. I am happy to board week days and weekends as needed and as available. I have a large fenced in yard that your dog will enjoy, as well as two pups that love when other dogs come to stay! I can happily crate your dog if needed and will feed them by your instructions. They will be happy, safe, and healthy. It is important that they are good with children as I have two.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for family and friends for the last 15-20 years. I’ve had the joy of walking some and also watching them both in my home and the owners. I’ve worked with dogs from 6mths old to 15 yrs old. I work full time, but am open all weekend and evenings! I’m very flexible on Fridays and can work with your schedule to make your requirement happen. When I have a dog under my care it is my main focus during the duration. I will not leave your pet alone unless an emergency arises.
“She went above and beyond to secure my cat. We had to leave for the airport and cat would not come home. Victoria came by two extra times to look for her. Third time was the charm. Cat spent the rest out the time safely in the house.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
