“This was our first time using this service, and I am so glad I found Taylor! We were very hesitant with the idea of leaving our dog with a stranger, but Taylor's reviews and her prompt answers to my numerous questions, we were quickly put us at ease. We received daily updates and pictures, and it was obvious to us that Moose was having the best time and was well cared for. Before we picked him up, I had already reached out to Taylor to rebook with her for an upcoming trip!”

“Angie did a wonderful job taking care of Molly and Sophie. This was our first time using Rover, and we couldn't have felt more confident in their care. Angie gave us daily updates and pics which made us not feel guilty for being gone. We could feel easy about being away and would definitely use her again.”

About: Hi! I’m Rachel! I’ve been a dog person my entire life and have been watching dogs since I was 11. I have two dogs of my own, Wesley and Wally, and dogs truly are my best friends. 🥹🐾 I know how important it is to find someone you completely trust with your pup, so I’ll treat yours just like my own, with lots of love, patience, attention, cuddles, and playtime. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities and needs, including giving medications, following specific routines, and providing extra support when needed. I work remotely, so I’m home throughout the day and able to give your pup plenty of attention. Whether they’re energetic and ready to play or prefer a cozy day on the couch, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. 🐶🧡 I’ll also keep you updated with pictures and little pup reports so you can relax knowing your baby is happy and well cared for. I’d love to meet your pup and become their new bestie! 🐾 I work remotely, which means I’m home with my dogs pretty much all day and am always attentive to their needs. Dogs are already a big part of my everyday routine, so caring for another pup fits right in! I love having a dog around to keep me company while I work, and I’m able to give them plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. We have a spacious, fully fenced-in yard where the pups can safely run around and get some energy out, plus my two friendly dogs, Wesley and Wally, who love having a friend around! I’m also happy to accommodate whatever makes your pup feel most comfortable. If they’re crate trained and prefer their crate, we can absolutely do that. We even have a spare bedroom that can be their own little space if they’d rather have some quiet time away from the other dogs. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, comfortable, and at home here.
“Bandit was so happy and calm when I picked him up. It was very clear he was comfortable and well taken care of! She took him on several walks and sent many pictures. He was a HAPPY BOY!!”

“Lori is fantastic! Our pup always has a great time with her when we have to head out of town. She is polite, accomadating, and cares for our animals like we would. She's our go to for Rover services.”

“Alexandria was amazing! Daisy was beyond spoiled and taken care of her entire stay! Truly I don’t think she wanted to leave her “staycation”!! We got tons of pics and updates and already are booking Alexandria for our next trip! Thanks for taking such good care of our little dog!”

“We trust Brittany with our dog and he was in an amazing mood when we picked him up! Plenty of room for him to run around and he loves playing with the kids and other dogs. Never had an issue with our dog here.”

“Patty did a fabulous job of watching our dog, Tucker. We appreciated that she was willing to meet us prior to our stay. She did a great job of providing lots of pictures throughout our trip. Patty made Tucker right at home and he looked so comfortable and well cared for. We would definitely recommend using her and plan to use her for future trips!”

“Kristy was a lifesaver as my family and I transitioned from overseas to stateside! She was patient and flexible with our boarding date needing to change unexpectedly. The nightly pictures were great and I knew our pups were in amazing care! Thank you!!”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in KS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
