Savannah was great with my dog! I was super appreciative of how she took the time to clean them off after they were out in the rain.

About: We have been pet owners all our lives until recently. We have experience looking after dogs and cats. We would love to fill the gap by helping you out with pet sitting needs. Your fur baby will be treated as part of our family! My husband and I work full time, some days from home. My work is just few minutes away so I am able do potty breaks and walk during lunch. Our schedules are flexible and we can adapt to your needs. We currently don't have any pets at the house. Our yard is not fenced but the neighborhood is very dog friendly with a little nature trail for walks.

Rebecca was so great! She was available last minute and followed all the instructions for my 3 dogs. 2 of our dogs have to be kept separated from our 3rd dog. She came and met them by my request and I immediately got great vibes from her! We don’t usually need someone so it was great knowing we could trust her. We also got a message on how it all went with pictures. We will definitely use her again in the future!

First time having to use a pet sitter & Rover and Gaby was amazing. I’ve never left my dog with anyone so it was nice that they came over before I left, to make sure he’s familiar with them. Communication was open and clear and I loved the pictures and check ins with the report cards. If I ever have to go out of town again, I’ll definitely be using Gaby in the future.

About: I have loved animals since forever. I cannot recall a time in my adult life that I did not have a furry friend. I have a long history of animal rescue transportation and some fostering in-between transportation runs. I have been house sitting and dog watching for friends and family for several years and truly enjoy it! Unfortunately, I recently lost my sweet Lucy at the age of 14. (She is the first picture with her blue stuffie ☺️) She fought the good fight! However CHF, an enlarged heart and heavy seizure activity became too much for her aging body and the good lord came calling to help her cross on over the rainbow bridge where she can roam and run pain free again. So, I decided to offer my love of animals to others' companions instead of adopting again and went to work part time for the veterinarian that walked the walk with us. The love of an animal is unconditional and healing and within that, there is peace 💛 I currently work for a vet clinic and also as a massage therapist with full control of my schedule therefore have the ability to adjust my days as needed. I pride myself in working hard to keep your pets schedule as close to their normal routine as possible. I feel consistency is important for them when their humans are absent.

About: Howdy there & nice to meet you, I am a kindred soul who has experience working in doggy day cares/boarding camps as well as volunteering hours at various local animal shelters. I am an aspiring pet groomer and will be taking classes for that soon as well. I turned my passion to vibe with furry friends into paid play dates. I am a natural care giver and would love to meet your little (or big) one! I work a hybrid remote job so my schedule is super flexible. I have to already incorporate my schedule around my rightfully spoiled only child (Lincoln, my 8-year old Husky mix). I also combine pet care time with my self-care routine for exercise/physical activity. (Work smarter not harder). I have a fenced yard/porch, as well as a doggy door built into the door that leads to said yard/porch and security cameras that cover the yard so we can always see what's going on. As well as various toys, treats, and walking equipment always available to all our furry friends.

I am very punctual and take pride in my work. You can always count on me to give your pet exactly what they need. I have grown up with pets my whole life and even have the nickname “dog-whisperer” throughout my family and friends. I’m very active and know how to keep your pet occupied. Look no further for great rates and great service! I take college courses online, therefore I am available any time! Some exceptions apply for tests, trips, events. About: I’ve never known a time during my life when I didn’t have a pet. My family had several dogs and I even owned some exotic pets. My current doggo is Kali, a five year old Bernedoodle. As somebody who is highly empathetic by nature, I connect really easily with animals. For this reason, family and friends always trusted me to take care of their loved fur friends. I work well with young to old pets, and am accustomed to very gentle training and care with lots of love. This is my full time gig. I’m autistic, so being around animals is both therapeutic and what I enjoy as I find it to be much less stress inducing than work that requires socialization. I also have a special connection with animals as I’m a very empathetic person and read energies well. I have a yard and a friendly, trained bernedoodle that works very well with other dogs. She’s been in training and daycare since she was a puppy. Your pets are more than welcome to have a playmate if they’re friendly as well. I also have a large crate if your pet needs kenneled. I give pets constant attention and honestly spoil them, so to me they are just another family member.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Leavenworth stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Leavenworth choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Leavenworth with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Leavenworth. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
