“I was really nervous to find a pet sitter through Rover, I've never had to leave my dog with a "stranger" before. My dog is also a giant breed, which can intimidate people or make them nervous. Alyssa was great from the very start, my dog loved her right away which put me at ease. She didn't even care about his drool lol Alyssa is great with keeping in communication, providing updates and pictures after each drop-in. I was able to actually relax while being out of town knowing my baby was in good hands. I would recommend her 1000% and will def. book her for any future trips.”

“You know that feeling when you go on vacation and your sipping on a beverage, counting your blessings but then suddenly you're riddled with anxiety, thinking about your dog back home? Actually, I have no idea how that feels because my dog is always with Romy. I've never had that anxious, worried feeling about my Bax because I know my Baxabillion (a nickname she gave him! How did I not think of that!?) is getting loved on with oodles and oodles of attention and care. There is no one else I would trust more with my boy than Romy. She's organized, super attentive, patient, kind, thorough -and best of all, Bax LOVES her. His tail goes all kinds of wackadoodle when we pull into her driveway. That's the best testament of all! She has a large, well maintained fenced-in yard and takes my pup for plenty of walks too! Take it from Bax, (and me) Romy is the absoloute best!”

“We have 3 dogs a pit - husky- golden retriever. Chandler took such good care of our babies. He was very welcome and very knowledgeable about getting to know our dogs . Our three dogs were drawn to him right away. He made sure we were up to date on all there activities and even took the time to send us pictures While they were out and about. I felt completely comfortable the whole time I was away from my pets knowing they were being so well taken care of. I definitely will be using him again for any up coming trips and I most definitely recommend him for anyone that wants a safe loving environment for there pups to stay with.”

The dogs behave so well for Will because they naturally respect and love each other as compassionate equals.Training and obedience come effortlessly for dog and owner this way. Will picked a good bit of this from his father, who has always had a dog since age ten.”

About: I have experience in many different dog services including dog daycare, boarding, vet assistant and animal shelters. I'm working towards dog training certification and am well versed in dog behaviors and basic medical care from puppies to senior fur babies. I'm currently working part time at a dog daycare and boarding facility and would love to watch some dogs on the weekends and during holidays so you know your dog(s) are safe and well loved while you are gone. I have a fenced in area at my home with 2 dog friendly pups of my own to play with or I can come to your house where your dog feels most comfortable. I have space to kennel your dog and am able to take care of any medical needs they have.

“Kayla had been watching my two dogs for the better part of three years before her and her husband took off for Texas. They lived across the street from me and she was always thrilled to take care of my huskys whenever I had to leave town for work. She’s incredibly sweet, kindhearted, and so good with animals. I thought it was so funny she had a mini pig, he was great. I’ll miss them and I hope after her husbands contract with the army is up I’ll be able to see them again. “Rachel is a proud and loving dog mom to her two boys, Diesel and Max. Diesel (Lab mix) came from an abusive situation, and was adopted in 2013. Rachel and her husband spent a lot of time getting Diesel to come around, and even invested in dog training for him to help him get some confidence back along with some basic obedience training. He still has some quirks about him, but she has been so patient with him. He's now a big, sweet senior baby and Rachel is very diligent in making sure that he gets exercise and regular vet visits to keep his arthritis and overall health in check. She adopted Max in 2014, and he's also a large breed (possibly some kind of Husky mix) as well as a very silly, energetic boy. Max can be a handful and wants to play constantly, and whenever Rachel can, she takes him and Diesel to dog parks so they can socialize and get lots of playtime. She's very intuitive with the boys, and you'd swear that she speaks their language with how well they mind her. Rachel has also been very good with my dog, a Boston Terrier named Jasper. He's not all that social, but she got him to warm up to her eventually with play and treats. I would recommend her to pet sit to anyone, but definitely those with larger breeds since she knows how to handle them and all their energy.”

About: Dogs (and recently cats) have always had a special place in my heart. I raised my childhood best friend Kobe from the time he was a pup to the time he grew old. I also helped pup-sit and dog-sit my friends’ dogs before and I know how much attention and love they need and I am always happy to make new friends. I work full-time from 7 am to 3 pm but I am available before work or after work to feed/water/play/walk dogs. My weekends are free and I have all day to care for pets. In the pet’s home environment, I would get instructions about their diet and how much exercise they can get. I am very attentive so they will not be out of my sight for any reason. I am also energetic so the pets will get plenty of play time and belly rubs.
