“Second time booking with Jenna and she did great with Louie! Will continue to use her when I need someone to check on my Louie, as she keeps me updated and lets me know how her overall visit with Louie was :)”

About: I have been entrusted with the care of many friends and neighbors pets since I was 10 years old. I have my own cat, Pidge, who I trained to go on walks and do tricks. He’s very friendly and people oriented. I just adopted an Aussie puppy and have been adapting her to the world and keeping her mentally stimulated. I am a detail oriented and thorough sitter. If your pet has special quirks or needs I am more than willing to abide! I can go over their training, take them on a walk and prepare special treats or meals. Anything to ensure my visit is as close to their usual routine as possible. Your pets comfort and care is my top priority. My schedule works perfectly for date nights, concerts, and any special events you may have in the evening during the week. Weekends I’m fully available. If you want your dog to get some socialization I’m also willing to orchestrate a play date with my dog (after an initial meet with you present). I would love to check in on your pet or take your dogs (or cats) for a walk! I work full time so I am available on weekdays in the morning, evening and overnight. Weekends all day. I can visit after work and take them on a walk, feed them, let them out to potty, check their food/water, do some training, etc. I am detail oriented and will make sure I follow the specific routine and guidelines you require for your pet. In my own home I have a daily schedule for my puppy’s training in 10min increments to maximize her training and behavioral development, as well as give her my undivided attention in the hours she’s awake. I wouldn’t hesitate to go above and beyond for your pets as well. I care about the well being and safety of all animals and will make sure every pet in your home is treated with respect.
“Keesha was a great sitter! She was took amazing care of our 12 year old Maine Coon. The daily drop ins for food, water and treats was just what our grumpy old man needed during our quick weekend away. Daily updates/photos put our minds at ease knowing he was in great hands. Highly recommend Keesha to care for your fur baby! We 100% will be using her again soon!”

“My dog Maggie loves Noelle. Noelle is friendly and spends a lot of time with Maggie and my cat. She sends good photos & I feel that my pets and my property are safe with her.”

“Samantha was great! She took care of my 2 particular cats very well. She sent adorable photos and kept me up-to-date on their activities, moods, and more. My house looked perfect when I came home. I’ll definitely book again :)”

“Nicole is so patient with my fur monsters. They like her so much. I love our pre-trip meets she's such a sweetheart. She also sends the best pictures.”

“Theresa stopped by to check on my two cats and she was awesome! I felt confident that the cats were well taken care of, she sent lots of pictures and was very responsive.”

About: Fully bilingual, with years of experience as a pet owner whether it is cats or dogs. Ready to care for kittens/puppies as well as senior cats and dogs. I volunteer at Animal Shelters once in a while. I'm currently working Full-Time but I look forward to caring for pets as much as I can on my days off and whenever possible before or after work. Walks, feeding, basic care and socialization. I can't provide boarding, I have a sweet and gentle black cat named Ozzy but he gets easily scared.
About: I was raised taking care of cats and dogs from the time I could walk. I recently moved to the area and I would love to spend some time with your animal. I currently work an 8-4 maybe a little longer on some days, so I would be able to stop in after I get home at four or anytime on the weekend! I will be able to come over for drop in visits and give your pets a potty break and some attention or anything that’s you need to make yourself and your animals more comfortable!
“Morgan was great! She was able to help out on short notice and during her visits, she left detailed updates. I felt very comfortable knowing my husky, Bolt was in great hands while I was away.”

“Maggie was great - very communicative and spent plenty of quality time with our senior kitty. She also checked in with questions and updates, got our mail, and left our place in very good condition! Would definitely recommend her and use her again!”

“Jasmine took such great care of our kitty! She was quick to respond when I reached out last minute about drop in visits and she arranged to meet our cat promptly. She was extremely sweet and kind when she came to our house and we can tell our cat enjoyed her visits! She sent detailed notes and lots of pictures of our cat while we were out of town and she even offered to water my plant! We will definitely ask Jasmine for help the next time we go out of town!”

About: I am a 2017 K-State graduate with my major being Animal Science. I worked as a vet assistant for 2 years and have pet sat for over 6 years. But my experience with dogs and cats began since I was a young girl! I love getting to put pet owners mind at ease and love on your pets while you are away! I work from home so I will need a good place to set up and work if I am staying overnight. Potty breaks can be expected every 2-4 hours as needed. I have a small apartment so only small dogs or cats can comfortably fit in my space. They are allowed on furniture and beds! For service in your home I keep their routine and care for them as you would.
“I needed recurring visits & Arrica was more than helpful with my dog! She truly saw my dog as her own & took wonderful care of him. Will be booking with her again if I need someone to drop in on him!”

“Rafaela was amazing with my cat and dog! They were both so comfortable and happy when I got home, and she kept me updated with photos and messages while I was away and even made me aware of a beeping noise that was coming from the laundry unit. You can tell Rafaela really cares about animals — my pets were in great hands and I would gladly book Rafaela again!”

About: Things I love: working out, basketball, Jesus, traveling, cooking, coffee, public education, and DOGS! I have lived in KC for 10 years and finally got my puppy, Lola, in May of 2025! 🐶 I work during the days Monday - Friday, but my schedule is more flexible during the summer months. I am available most evenings and weekends! I live downtown in a condo on the first floor. There is a grassy area right outside my back door. I am close to dog parks and enjoy going for walks around my neighborhood.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Kansas City
This was my first time using rover and Noelle went above and beyond my expectations. There is a reason she is high-rated and has so many bookings! Our dogs loved her and we felt totally up to date on how our fur babies were doing at all times. She administered meds, took them for walks, played with them, and gave us many updates while we were out of town for four days. We are so grateful! We will rebook with her for our next trip.

Regan did a wonderful job with the drop in visits. My dog really liked him and my shyest cat came out to see him, which I consider a good sign. Regan also made sure the feral cats had food and water as requested. Sent me photos & quick updates. I would love to hire Regan again when I go out of town.

Derek was great to work with!! Our cat Rini really liked him and he greeted her immediately when he came to our house for an introduction. He shared a few photos during his check in visits and was prompt in responding when we had questions and while setting up the visits. We will definitely ask Derek to check in with our cat in the future!

Jennifer is an absolute sweetheart and Louie loves having her as a sitter. He even goes to his kennel all by himself while I'm getting ready for work. She checks in regularly and gives me photo updates. The most important thing is that she gives him the care and attention I'm not able to give him while I'm at work. I book with her every week because I'm so happy with the way she takes care of my baby boy.

We had an excellent experience with Kara! From beginning to end, communication was prompt and meticulous. While we were away, she kept us completely at ease by sending lots of photos and detailed updates after each in-home visit. We especially appreciated how thorough she was in describing how each of our cats was doing—their moods, eating habits, playtime, and any little personality quirks that came up. She took the time to get to know our animals individually and cared about their comfort and routine. We would absolutely book with Kara again and recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and communicative pet sitter!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
