About: I’ve lived with 3 dogs since I was in high school over 10 years ago and share a dog, Charlie, with my former partner, but he doesn’t live with me. I love animals and pride myself on being reliable for great care for your pet. I work from home currently so will have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets and host at a restaurant for 4-5 hours at a time a few days per week, but pets are welcome if that’s too long of a gap! I don’t have any pets and live in a very walkable neighborhood with a dog park less than a block from me for dedicated play time and potty breaks.

“Rachel and her husband did a great job taking care of my cat while I was away at the lake! I am very cautious letting people into my apartment and spending time with my Aria. 14. Alisha T.
“Alisha is the best pet caregiver! Everyday she takes Ollie on his daily walk, rain or shine. She truly is always thinking about "her child" as she calls him. For instance things that she thinks about, when can I get back to him and making sure he is taken care of and in the best setting possible when she goes out of town. She would make a fantastic asset to the Rover team!”
15. Keele M.
About: Hi. My name is Keele. I love animals. I admire pet parents who use these services to provide their loved one/s the opportunity to have their own vacation while they are on theirs. Our guests can play, run in the yard, enjoy walks, squirrel watch, and take couch naps. All of those activities offer enrichment which has a positive impact on keeping your pet healthy and happy while you are away. That is why I am committed to delivering that vision so clients can have peace of mind and enjoy their time away knowing their loved one is having the best care. To answer some commonly asked questions: ANXIETY: Walks. After drop off they will get a walk. This helps decrease their initial bout of anxiousness. I also try to keep them engaged as to not allow boredom to creep in and breed anxiety, confusion or worry. DOG PARKS: I do not take client’s pets to dog parks. This is for their safety from other dogs. SLEEP: Pets have full roam. Most guests jump in our King bed and snuggle on us and our two dogs, but they are more than welcome to cozy up anywhere please. I make my own schedule. Pet care is top priority with an emphasis on exercise. Once we work out the details I adjust my schedule accordingly. Fenced Yard is first on the list for physical safety. For emotional safety and wellness we respect guests personalities and can read their mood. We do not force petting or engagement. We do not yell, spank or boss animals around. Enforce physical boundaries when needed. If my dog wants to play and we can see our guest is tired we will take our to another part of the house where either me or my husband are and put the door so they can stay in the room we are in to give your pet a break.

“Kayla has done a fabulous job pet sitting for us over the years. She is a certified dog trainer and worked in the Animal Health industry. One of my dogs is very picky about who his friends are, and he absolutely loves her. She is patient, caring, pays attention to detail, and can handle multiple pets in the home (we have 3 dogs and two cats. It's a lot and she does a great job!) If I ever need someone to watch our pets, she is the first person I turn to. She truly treats our furry kids like her own. Absolutely the best.”

20. Charlie A.
“My husband Tom and I have never had children so our French Bulldog Lucy Lu is our whole world. While he was in high school, Charlie watched Lucy Lu on multiple occasions when we were gone. She is a picky eater and has her preferences in how she likes things done and Charlie was always patient with her. We're proud of him for becoming a medical student and happy to write a review for him. We're grateful to have found someone we could trust with our Lucy Lu while we're away.”
