I’ve cared for pets with a huge range of ages, personalities, routines, and needs through years of pet sitting and 30+ five-star Rover stays. At this point, I’ve learned that my favorite part of the job is figuring out what makes your pet comfortable rather than expecting every animal to fit the same routine. I have lots of experience with senior pets and honestly have a huge soft spot for them! I’m comfortable with slower schedules, mobility considerations, medications, frequent potty breaks, and pets who simply want someone nearby. I’ve also cared for anxious and timid dogs, large breeds, energetic young dogs, and puppies as young as 10 weeks old. I’m comfortable administering pills and topical medications and following detailed medical or feeding routines. If your pet has more specialized needs, I’m always happy to talk through them and learn exactly how you handle their care at home.

Kadyn was an awesome sitter for our cat! She sent us regular updates and pics so we never had to worry while out of town - we could just enjoy our mini vacay/family wedding. He was clearly well loved while we were gone! Would definitely hire Kadyn again in a heartbeat.

Kaydyn was amazing! We were nervous about going on vacation, and we'd never hired a catsitter before and I'm so happy we found Kaydyn. She was very communicative, and as a huge plus, my cats loved her. Even the ones who usually don't like other people! She's a gem and a cat whisperer to boot.
She's the absolute best cat sitter I've ever had. Every time I come home my boys are pleased and well loved 💗😺

Schedule
I work locally from about 10–6 on weekdays, with enough flexibility for midday drop-ins when needed. Before and after work I have much more open availability, and my weekends are generally flexible as well. I’m especially happy to discuss timing for repeat care or pets who do best with a consistent schedule. For house sitting, I stay overnight and spend a good amount of my off-work time with your pets. I do still come and go for work, errands, and my normal routine, but I’m mindful of how long each pet is comfortable being alone and generally won’t leave dogs for more than a few hours at a time.

Safety, trust & environment
I treat both your pet and your home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I follow your routines and instructions closely, double-check doors and gates, and pay attention to the little things—appetite, bathroom habits, behavior, or anything else that seems different from normal. I also try to be as unobtrusive as possible in a pet’s space, especially with cats or more anxious animals. I let them set the pace for interaction rather than forcing attention. For house sits, I stay overnight and spend plenty of my off-work time in the home so your pet gets both consistent care and company.
Pets
A typical day
I plan my time around each pet’s personality and normal routine! With active dogs, that might mean walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of time outside. With my beloved senior couch potatoes, I’m equally happy taking things slow and providing lots of company and affection. Cats might want wand-toy marathons, cuddles, someone to follow around the house, or simply a quiet person nearby while they do their own thing. I’m also a big update person! For house sits, I typically send morning, midday when applicable, evening/dinner, and bedtime updates with plenty of photos. Drop-ins come with lots of pictures and a detailed recap of what we did, how your pet behaved and ate, and anything else I noticed during my visit.

- The more you tell me, the better! I’d love to know your pet’s normal feeding and potty/litter routine, medications, favorite activities, hiding spots, personality quirks, and anything that might be completely normal for them but look unusual to someone new. I also like knowing how long they’re normally left alone, any household rules, and what you’d like me to keep an eye on while you’re gone. Please never worry about giving me “too many” instructions—I genuinely appreciate the details and would much rather keep their normal routine as intact as possible.
