I love to play with the fur babies! We can walk, play, go to dog parks, etc...if you have a membership at Bar K and are comfortable with me taking your dog, please let me know and leave the check-in tag. When I board, I use cameras in my home (working on finding a provider who will allow client access for 24/7 view of your fur babies) as an added assurance for everyone's comfort. When housesitting, I encourage clients to use surveillance to their comfort (I do ask for disclosure of this recording for obvious reasons but don’t mind at all!). Check out my repeat clients and countless 5 star ratings!
Information Brittany S. would like to know about your pet
I require copies of pets’ vaccinations (minimum: Rabies, Bortadella, DAPP). Leptospirosis and influenza highly encouraged but not required. Let me know if your dog has any allergies (especially food), any behavioral nuisances, or tricks that are helpful when dealing with special needs, separation anxiety, etc. Small behavioral changes are expected the first day or two (not eating a lot) but I need to know just how far from their normal it is to keep them safe.
A typical day
A typical day includes cuddle time, indoor play, outdoor play at a dog park, as well as multiple leashed walks when appropriate (weather, demeanor, etc)!

Pet care experience
3/1/26 UPDATE: Teddy Bear & I are temporarily limiting our services to Housesitting while we search for our permanent location! We look forward to continuing to serve you! 5% of all profits will be donated! Teddy Bear and I love to have dog guests in our home-we make the most out of every pet adventure! We love having your pets sleep in our bed with us and we have the best time together! There is plenty of space to zoom around in and plenty of toys we have accumulated over 4 years. I am currently scouting for the perfect location for Teddy Bear's Palace Pet Resort, and in the meantime, you can lock yourself into a founder's rate while at my apartment! We have a large a luxurious backyard, and our walk-out to the backyard basement apartment is large, running the run length of the ranch house above. The apartment was originally a daycare with the previous owners, so while there is a "three pod" system between the bedroom, living room and kitchen if need be to separate the pets, we are able to leave the inside doors open the majority of the time for the dogs to explore at their comfort level. Note: on the off chance that two UN-fixed pets of the separate gender are being boarded at the same time, I will have to utilize the pod scenario and keep them separate. Currently, Teddy Bear and I accept up to two-three families at a time, with an adaptable number of dogs per family based on size, temperament and needs. I have experience as a Paramedic as well as Armed Security Officer securing property. My paramedic skills have come in handy in taking care of dogs with special needs and my security experience helps keep everyone safe, whether I’m house-sitting or boarding. Until we buy a place for a Pet Resort to do this FT, I do take some gigs outside of the home, but I’m generally not gone longer than 3-5 hours and these are flexible if your fur baby has higher level needs! Just communicate directly! If a scheduling conflict arises, particularly during drop off and pick up times, I do have relationships with 2 other Rover providers in which they can help “check in” or “check out” your fur baby at my place! DOGS ARE MY FAVORITE PEOPLE! And cats are cuddly lovers too, I just tend to see less of them :)

Reviews

Brittany is a lover of dogs❣️ Every time she boarded my dog, she treated him like her own. He also came back happy and tired from all of the play. If we were not moving out of town, I would entrust her to sit my dog whenever needed. We hope to find a sitter as wonderful as Brittany in our new home state.
Brittany did a number of drop ins to check on our cat while we on vacation. Her updates included details and pictures that we loved seeing. We knew that Emma was safe and cared for while we were gone.

Great accommodations for our pups as always. They had a blast with plenty of snuggles.

Ghost has so much fun at Brittany’s and comes home super happy from playing all day with Teddy and friends!
