About: I’ve kept and rescued animals since a young age, which included tending to any wounds or injuries. My own pets were fosters, and most recently I fostered a lovely pittie who was then adopted. I’m very good with skittish cats, and I have a good understanding of basic dog training techniques. Lastly, I live a street away from a nice park which is good for dog walks. I love all animals, and spending time with them and caring for them is just as good for me as it is for them. I am currently self employed and jobs are few, so I have a very flexible schedule. I was always in charge of our family dog when my parents would leave town, as well as taking care of family members dogs. this is a part time gig for me, my times are somewhat flexible with enough advance. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)
