Im very respectful and love detailed instructions. I’ve owned feisty, picky pets, so I’m happy to do whatever your animals need! I know it can be stressful having someone else come into your home and care for your pets, so I’ll take every measure to make sure you and your animals are comfortable

My highly anxious and fearful dog has some pretty rough "quirks" - It's hard to find a sitter who fits well with her personality. Rafaela was flexible when needed, had a very calm energy, and showed up to both the meet & greet AND the housesitting job clearly having reviewed all of the info on my dog's profile (she immediately asked - totally unprompted - whether my dog had already taken her medication for the day. Details like this made me 100% confident that she would follow all guidance exactly as planned). I felt very confident leaving my dog with her and would happily rebook!
Rafaela was amazing. She sent daily pictures and was very responsible. I felt so safe leaving her to care for my dog, Louie!

This was my second time leaving my two cats in Rafaela's care, and I have no worries about them when she's watching them. They can be shy at times but they really seem to be comfortable with her. She sends great photos & updates, and communicates well. I highly recommend her!
Rafaela was amazing with my two cats. They are anxious (like me) and they were comfortable with her immediately (rolled on their backs for belly rubs) which made me comfortable. She sent great photos and updates, communicated thoroughly, and I felt confident that the cats were well taken care of. When we met to exchange keys, she asked thorough questions and made sure she was prepared with all instructions. Rafaela is really kind, has a gentle energy with pets, and definitely understands how much humans cherish their animal companions. If I need a petsitter in the future, I'm definitely contacting her again. Highly recommend!

Schedule
Available for drop-ins and walks in the evenings and weekends. I live in River Market and work in midtown, so I can be available for some morning or lunchtime needs in those areas. I can house-sit nearby, too.
