I was very very nervous leading up to my trip, but the second my boyfriend and I met Ellie, we felt 10000 times better. She sent me so many photos, and kept me up to date on everything. The photos really made me feel more comfortable during the trip, I could tell she was very happy and comfortable. Also, anytime we leave Baby she almost always skips her lunch. I do not crate my dog but I did as a puppy to facilitate his potty training. My dog sleeps with me at night as does my cat sometimes. Both are friendly and well socialized but again, I can put either in a spare room or your pet if necessary. Both my pets are up to date on their vaccinations and they get a monthly pill for flea and tick prevention. About: I have taken care of all sorts of dogs through the years and find joy in going for walks around the neighborhood and playing and meeting every single dog I see. I work full time, 3 12 hour shifts a week and my other 4 days I love having something to do whether that is going on walks, popping in to make sure dogs have everything they need and having potty breaks. During drop ins or walks I like to follow the owners instructions carefully so that each pet can maintain their normal routines and reduce stress. I make sure each pet has water, any food they need, toys if able, exercise, and attention. With walks I stay very mindful of potential dangers or triggers to avoid any unwanted situations and pay attention to any sins of overheating, exhaustion or discomfort. During drop ins if a pet uses a crate I always make sure it’s locked and checked before leaving as well as leaving the surrounding how I arrived and with locked doors. It’s always fun to send the owner updates and pictures of their pet while away to ensure they are safe and getting the care they need.

About: I’ve grown up with and around animals all my life, I am super active and love being outside, so walks are my favorite! Have experience with both cats and dogs. This means I have a lot of free time through the day and flexibility to work! My dog recently passed, but I would care for her by taking her on a walk during the evening when it wasn’t too hot. I am also available most weekends! I have no problem packing my things and coming to you so your fur babies can feel comfortable. At the same time, I understand the uneasy feeling of having a stranger in your home, so dropping off your fur baby to me is always another option!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 9. I also have grown up with dogs in my family and I even trained the one I have now! My neighbors, family friends, and even friends have asked for my help with walking, feeding, and also bathing their pets. I will be coming home for Winter break with no other job, so i’ll have lots of time to care and play with your pups. Since it is the holiday season, I’ll have to double check with my availability should your pups need to be watched over the holidays. I live in an apartment, so it might be a little difficult to watch your pet over at my place. But if needed, I can make it work, I also have a dog of my own to play with and keep your pet company.
