I was very very nervous leading up to my trip, but the second my boyfriend and I met Ellie, we felt 10000 times better. She sent me so many photos, and kept me up to date on everything. The photos really made me feel more comfortable during the trip, I could tell she was very happy and comfortable. Also, anytime we leave Baby she almost always skips her lunch. Baby was eating both meals every single day which was a huge sign to me that Ellie made her comfortable and at home. I would recommend Ellie to everyone!! If you have any hesitations, set up a meet and greet and you will feel at ease the second you meet her. I needed last minute care due to a medical emergency, and she not only accommodated my need with less than 18 hours notice, but she did so with a level of care for my kitties that I have never experienced before. Within 15 minutes of her arrival, I had photos and videos of all of my babies (which is no small feat in itself), and she continued to provide multiple updates, photos, and videos. She was so so so loving and gentle with my kitties, stayed with them all day and overnight, and gave me the comfort and reassurance I was desperately needing. About: I have had pets all my life from dogs and cats to gerbils, hamsters and fish. Even as a young child I was primarily responsible for most of the routine daily pet care. I'm a trained CNA with applicable caregiving skills. I also have extensive experience as a shelter volunteer having walked the dog and played with them as well as socializing the cats. I'm currently self employed as a home care aide and wish to take care of animals in between assignments or during days off. I do not have any responsibilities that would interfere with me taking care of your fur babies. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a yard stake. I live in a townhouse with an open grass backyard. I regularly take my dog to The Liberty, MO Stockdale dog park and can take yours there too if that's your preference. If you wish I can walk your dog as many times per day as you prefer. My neighborhood has paved sidewalks and walking paths that I routinely use to walk my dog daily. I have one cat and one dog and each get along with other cats and dogs very well but should there be any unforeseen issue, I can put your pet in my spare bedroom. I also own a wire dog crate for large dogs. I can crate your pet in your home or my home if you wish me to. I will take care of him or her in whichever way you prefer. I do not crate my dog but I did as a puppy to facilitate his potty training. My dog sleeps with me at night as does my cat sometimes. Both are friendly and well socialized but again, I can put either in a spare room or your pet if necessary. Both my pets are up to date on their vaccinations and they get a monthly pill for flea and tick prevention. I can do everything from long or short walks, taking them outside for potty breaks, administering food or medicine, playtime, etc.

About: I have taken care of all sorts of dogs through the years and find joy in going for walks around the neighborhood and playing and meeting every single dog I see. I work full time, 3 12 hour shifts a week and my other 4 days I love having something to do whether that is going on walks, popping in to make sure dogs have everything they need and having potty breaks. During drop ins or walks I like to follow the owners instructions carefully so that each pet can maintain their normal routines and reduce stress. I make sure each pet has water, any food they need, toys if able, exercise, and attention. With walks I stay very mindful of potential dangers or triggers to avoid any unwanted situations and pay attention to any sins of overheating, exhaustion or discomfort. During drop ins if a pet uses a crate I always make sure it’s locked and checked before leaving as well as leaving the surrounding how I arrived and with locked doors. It’s always fun to send the owner updates and pictures of their pet while away to ensure they are safe and getting the care they need.

About: Hi! I’m Rachel! I’ve been a dog person my entire life and have been watching dogs since I was 11. I have two dogs of my own, Wesley and Wally, and dogs truly are my best friends. 🥹🐾 I know how important it is to find someone you completely trust with your pup, so I’ll treat yours just like my own, with lots of love, patience, attention, cuddles, and playtime. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities and needs, including giving medications, following specific routines, and providing extra support when needed. I work remotely, so I’m home throughout the day and able to give your pup plenty of attention. Dogs are already a big part of my everyday routine, so caring for another pup fits right in! I love having a dog around to keep me company while I work, and I’m able to give them plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. We have a spacious, fully fenced-in yard where the pups can safely run around and get some energy out, plus my two friendly dogs, Wesley and Wally, who love having a friend around! I’m also happy to accommodate whatever makes your pup feel most comfortable. If they’re crate trained and prefer their crate, we can absolutely do that. We even have a spare bedroom that can be their own little space if they’d rather have some quiet time away from the other dogs. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, comfortable, and at home here.

About: Recently graduated from Mizzou, I have spent the last 2 years helping to care for our house pets, including two cats and one dog. I worked to feed, walk, and engage with my pets during this period. Prior to this, I lived and cared for many animals back in my hometown: 3 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, 2 parrots, and a turtle. Because of this, I deliver versatile care, and understand that every pet has its own unique needs! I work 2 part time jobs, both in healthcare, where my hours are stacked on certain days of the week. About: I have loved and owned animals as long as I can remember. I was raised with dogs, and other small animals! My daughter and I lost our Ollie in August 2022 at 4 years old to lung cancer and would love to care for your pet until we are ready for our next family member. I am comfortable taking care of pets of any age. I can provide food and water bowls, blankets, dog beds, stuffed toys, and I have a medium size kennel. All you need to bring is food, treats, leash/harness and any special comfort items. My daughter loves to go outside every chance she gets so they will have a lot of outside time when the weather permits. They will be allowed to roam the house as they want and are allowed on furniture – like I said- spoiled. I love to send pictures while you are gone to share their adventures while they are here. I do work for the school district 11am-1:30pm but I will be around a majority of the time to play and take care of your family member while they are here. Any drop offs and pick ups will need to be before 9am or after 2:30pm I have a fenced in yard – it is a short fence so fence jumpers are probably not the best fit for me. We can crate them when we are gone if needed and will do our best to stick to their regular routine.
