“Dennis was so wonderful and always on time. We didn’t worry about our fur baby being neglected or not making a potty break. Peace of mind when you are traveling goes a long way! He was great at sending pictures and when we had a delivery, he brought it inside for us. He would always respond in a quick time frame. We really appreciated him spending time with our doggo. We will definitely be using Dennis in the future.”

About: I began pet sitting in college and fell in love with the experience. I have pet and house sat for about 5 years and am always happy to love on someone's beloved furry family members (only the kind with 4 legs, please ;). If you want someone to send lots of pictures and updates about your baby, then I’m your girl! I have additional experience in puppy training, home care, and multi-species households. I work from home, which allows me to place pet care as a priority in my schedule. This gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, play time, accident clean-up, and more. As I work from home, I am able to keep round the clock supervision of animals. I have a fenced in dog park that can allow for off-leash activities. I also have a very brave cat who enjoys meeting new people and pets.

“Lori was great. She sent updates with pictures of the cats everyday she went to check on them. The cats made a mess by knocking over pottery while we were gone. Though it wasn’t Lori’s job she found the broom and swept up the mess. She also noticed the cat feeder was stuck and sat down and tinkered with it for one of her visits. When we got back I noticed she took out the trash with all the cat litter and wet food plates. She also left one of our packages that was delivered in our garage so it was safe when we got back. Overall Lori went above and beyond her duties and we will book with her again in the future.”

“Thank you, Hang for taking care of my kitty Jenni-Girl. I sent a request to Hang and she responded very quickly. She is friendly and easy to work with. I appreciate everything you've done. Thank you soo much!”

“We couldn’t have left our Twigs with anyone better, Laurie is great at communicating about every visit and we got some of the cutest pics!! She goes above and beyond, highly recommend her!”

About: I've owned dogs, fish, a bird, and a turtle and am eager to assist with your pets! I've also sat for cats and dogs, in the past. I'm currently working part-time so my schedule allows for plenty of time to spend with your pets! I have weekends available for walks and drop-ins. I am reliable and pay great attention to detail. I have a natural rapport with animals and am looking forward to meeting and spending time with your pet(s)!
“Anabeth went above and beyond with all of our pets. Our family member couldn’t make it over one day and Anabeth cared for our fish and cat in addition to our dogs she was originally scheduled to care for. She spent a lot of time with our animals and they seemed to really love spending time with her!”
About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life with different needs and personalities, I've also had family and friends come to me to take care of there pets. I'm currently working part time at a jackson animal clinic, i work 5-6 hours a day about 4 days a week. My schedule changes every week. I have a fenced in yard with two cats that are very friendly. Trust i will have full attention to your pet and make sure their needs are met.
“Sam is amazing, and our dog loves her! Sam was available for a last minute “help!” request when some things got added to my schedule, and she was able to hang with my doggo and keep her busy while I tended to some things. She’s one of our favorites!”

“Kylie is great! She was on time, took fantastic care of our dog, and left a detailed report card. No communication issues, and she took care of everything we asked for, with additional thought and care.”

“I was concerned that my excitable and rather strong 90lb dog would be too much for her to handle, but she knocked it out of the park and gave us ease of mind. On introductory visit was also very attentive and brought a notebook to write down anything important so that the dog sitting would go smoothly. Definitely recommend.”
“Heather is amazing! She is so great with our babies and makes sure everyone feels so loved while their parents are away. We always know our pets are in good hands with her!”

About: Hi, I’m Allie — a lifelong animal lover with a soft spot for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your furry friend is energetic and playful or needs a calm, patient presence, I adapt to their needs like they’re my own. What sets me apart? I go beyond the basics: I provide personalized care, constant communication (yes, expect lots of cute photo updates!), and a safe, loving environment where your pet can truly relax. I treat every animal with the same love and respect I’d give my own. From cuddles to long walks, I make sure your pet feels at home — even when you’re away. Let’s meet and see if it’s a paw-fect fit! I work Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 4:30, with two of those days remote. I also get an hour-long lunch break, which gives me time to check in or let your babe out mid-day if needed. I always do my best to keep your pet’s routine consistent and stress-free, even with my work schedule! Whether in your home or mine, I stick to your pet’s routine, give them lots of love, playtime, and care, and make sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away.
“Rio was wonderful with my 2 doodles. One of my dogs is a huge (100 pound) fraidy cat - afraid of everything but Rio showed patience with her and took the time needed for her to warm up. I appreciate her dropping in for a last minute booking. Prompt response time and great communication- Highly recommend!”

About: My passion for animals started ever since I had my first dog when I was around 5 years old. She was a shih tzu and we named her KeKe. Ever since then I knew that I wanted to be around animals as much as possible. Most of my friends have pets and I'm always playing with them. One time my friend's dad had their dog tied up to the tree for days and I spent an hour trying to get the knots out so that we could take him for a walk, he deserved it. I am aiming to become a veterinarian when I finish school but until then, I hope to get as much experience as possible. Between the hours of 9am - 5pm I am at work and then have school right after. I am available before 9 am to check on your pets and available anytime after 5pm to take your pets out or check on them. I am also available on weekends full time! I love to go running/walking so I can always incorporate that with your fur babies! As much as I love animals, I do not have any dogs of my own. I live in an apartment complex, although there is no backyard we do have a fenced area for dogs to run around and I could walk them around the neighborhood
“Fantastic job, she kept me updated on my cats while I was away. Also when the power went out, she went right over to make sure they were safe and put my mind at ease! Thank you”

“Stephanie is very patient with my dogs. I know Aruna has her own temperament, but she works patiently to help them adapt and takes great care of both of them. Thank you so much, Stephanie. I highly recommend Stephanie; she is very professional.”

I would give Shannon 10 stars if I could! She went above and beyond taking care of our girls. She even had a last minute emergency and was still able to complete the booking. She really paid attention to our pets behavior and acted according. She communicated very well and sent lots of pics. I will definitely be using her again in the future!

Paige did a good job visiting my cat and taking care of all the things I asked her to do while I was gone. He definitely looked well taken care of and was in a good mood. Paige was also very good about communicating and being available despite the time zone difference we had.

Maria is always focused on the animals, which I appreciate! When I returned, my cats were happy to see me but not aggravated that I'd been gone. That means that they were well cared for and got a lot of attention! I also value Maria's flexibility and her help with things like bringing in my mail, etc. I think she's great! Will definitely have her back!

Took awesome care of my kitties! Apartment was left clean and it was awesome to come home and destress without having messes to clean up. I totally recommend her. She gave me lots of update pictures whenever she checked in and asked good questions to make sure my cats were well taken care of. I would love to book her again for my next vacation. 10/10! 🫶🏼💕

It took Sebastian barely a moment to get comfortable with Samantha! From the meet and greet, immediately demonstrated confidence and competence in knowing how to approach and interact with him, and watching him warm up to her more and more with each visit reaffirmed that I made the right choice as a first-timer to Rover! I will be requesting her services again without a doubt.

Caitlin is great with our boys and an excellent communicator. She really goes above and beyond. She is our go-to when we need a sitter and appreciate her getting us in on short notice. She leaves our place very clean and from her report cards, we can tell she takes time to hang out with our boys and ensure they have enrichment.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
