About: Recently graduated from Mizzou, I have spent the last 2 years helping to care for our house pets, including two cats and one dog. I worked to feed, walk, and engage with my pets during this period. Prior to this, I lived and cared for many animals back in my hometown: 3 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, 2 parrots, and a turtle. About: I’ve grown up with and around animals all my life, I am super active and love being outside, so walks are my favorite! Have experience with both cats and dogs. Looking to help out during my off season from soccer, don’t hesitate to reach out and we can make something work! :) I’m currently in my off season of playing professional soccer, so therefore I am just training at the moment. This means I have a lot of free time through the day and flexibility to work! My dog recently passed, but I would care for her by taking her on a walk during the evening when it wasn’t too hot. Would allow her outside to our fenced yard where she loved to sunbathe and play with her and her favorite toys when she felt up to it! About: I grew up on a farm, so I’ve always had animals/pets in my life. I’ve owned everything from small dogs to big dogs and cats. I’m a teacher so all pet care will have to be in the evening after school. I typically will finish the school day at 3:30. Shannon was great with our boys! We have a timid kitty and another who is pretty pushy with food. Shannon took extra care to ensure that Gary could get a full meal, which can be difficult at times. She made sure both boys got playtime and pets, and put the tv on a timer so that they would have some stimulation after she left. The detailed report cards with photo updates and description of their interactions was reassuring to us while we were away. She was very communicative and left our place looking great. When we got home they were excited to see us, but weren't frantic about us having been gone. It really seems like they made a friend in Shannon. We will be booking with her again!
Paige did a good job visiting my cat and taking care of all the things I asked her to do while I was gone. He definitely looked well taken care of and was in a good mood. Paige was also very good about communicating and being available despite the time zone difference we had.
Maria is always focused on the animals, which I appreciate! When I returned, my cats were happy to see me but not aggravated that I'd been gone. That means that they were well cared for and got a lot of attention! I also value Maria's flexibility and her help with things like bringing in my mail, etc. I think she's great! Will definitely have her back!
