“Ellie was BEYOND AMAZING. I've never left my dog (baby) with ANYONE other than close friends or family, and i'm very anxiously attached to her. I was very very nervous leading up to my trip, but the second my boyfriend and I met Ellie, we felt 10000 times better. She sent me so many photos, and kept me up to date on everything. The photos really made me feel more comfortable during the trip, I could tell she was very happy and comfortable. Also, anytime we leave Baby she almost always skips her lunch. Baby was eating both meals every single day which was a huge sign to me that Ellie made her comfortable and at home. I would recommend Ellie to everyone!! If you have any hesitations, set up a meet and greet and you will feel at ease the second you meet her. I can't thank Ellie enough, I was worried I wasn't going to be able to enjoy my vacation due to my worries but I wasn't worried for one second while I was away. 1,000/10, will be using Ellie in the future <3”

Within 15 minutes of her arrival, I had photos and videos of all of my babies (which is no small feat in itself), and she continued to provide multiple updates, photos, and videos. About: I have taken care of all sorts of dogs through the years and find joy in going for walks around the neighborhood and playing and meeting every single dog I see. I work full time, 3 12 hour shifts a week and my other 4 days I love having something to do whether that is going on walks, popping in to make sure dogs have everything they need and having potty breaks. During drop ins or walks I like to follow the owners instructions carefully so that each pet can maintain their normal routines and reduce stress. I make sure each pet has water, any food they need, toys if able, exercise, and attention. With walks I stay very mindful of potential dangers or triggers to avoid any unwanted situations and pay attention to any sins of overheating, exhaustion or discomfort. During drop ins if a pet uses a crate I always make sure it’s locked and checked before leaving as well as leaving the surrounding how I arrived and with locked doors. It’s always fun to send the owner updates and pictures of their pet while away to ensure they are safe and getting the care they need.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

About: Growing up I always had some sort of pet whether that be my bearded dragon, leopard gecko, cats, dogs, birds, all of it. I recently lost my disabled kitty but he taught me lots about medication administration, accessibility, and so many more things that are needed when working with a disabled or any kind of medical condition in pets. About: I have loved and owned animals as long as I can remember. I was raised with dogs, and other small animals! My daughter and I lost our Ollie in August 2022 at 4 years old to lung cancer and would love to care for your pet until we are ready for our next family member. I am comfortable taking care of pets of any age. I can provide food and water bowls, blankets, dog beds, stuffed toys, and I have a medium size kennel. All you need to bring is food, treats, leash/harness and any special comfort items. My daughter loves to go outside every chance she gets so they will have a lot of outside time when the weather permits. They will be allowed to roam the house as they want and are allowed on furniture – like I said- spoiled. I love to send pictures while you are gone to share their adventures while they are here. I do work for the school district 11am-1:30pm but I will be around a majority of the time to play and take care of your family member while they are here. Any drop offs and pick ups will need to be before 9am or after 2:30pm I have a fenced in yard – it is a short fence so fence jumpers are probably not the best fit for me. We can crate them when we are gone if needed and will do our best to stick to their regular routine.
About: Growing up in a household where I wasn’t allowed to have a pet of my own, I searched for every chance to spend time with furry friends. I spent a lot of time at neighbors’ and friends’ houses playing with and pet-sitting their dogs, studying a variety of dog breeds, and watching pet shows like “Too Cute” on Animal Planet. In middle school I volunteered at the animal shelter and in high school I was exposed to many therapy dogs at the hospital. Finally, 7 years ago I got a shih-poo of my own and it’s been such a joy getting to spoil her rotten. Dogs bring us so much light, love, and companionship so they deserve to be treated with utmost care and pampered to their heart’s content! I will make sure your precious pet gets the attention it needs so that you can live your life care free and they can live theirs cared for! I am not currently working so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry friend! My availability is completely open for walks, check ins, and whatever and however much care your pet may need! I have a large fenced in yard with ample space for your pet and I to play and run around in. My shih-poo can keep your four-legged friend company or can be caged up, whichever you and your pet are comfortable with. I have a variety of dog treats that your pup is welcome to as well.

They all lived to old age.
