Semi-Retired Couple Seeking Dog Fix
Hi, we are Scott and Jenn. We are experienced dog people, but we don't have a dog right now, so we are available to give your pup(s) our undivided attention. Dogs have been a central part of both our lives from growing up with dog "siblings" to fostering and adopting dogs of various breeds, ages and temperaments. Big and small, from high-energy young pups to sweet old seniors. After our Doberman passed in 2022, we made the difficult decision not to get another dog right away. Since Scott retired, we spend about six months a year traveling in our RV to visit family across the country. It has been a truly wonderful experience; however, life without dogs isn't right! Rover offers the perfect opportunity for us to enjoy spending time with dogs, while providing you peace of mind and your pets all the love and attention they deserve!

This was a short notice request. And Jennifer was there a ready for action immediately. Even though short an sweet, I'm sure McKenzie enjoyed her time with Jennifer.
Once again, Jennifer and Scott left our doggie happier than when we dropped him off! I don't know how they do it! The daily updates and pictures put our minds at ease, and we are just so thankful Zachy has such a good vacation home here! Thank you!!!
Jennifer and Scott took care of my dog for a weekend. They are trusting people and I felt good knowing they were taking care of my dog Sombra. Jennifer provided updates and pictures and calmed my nerves when I first dropped off Sombra. Meeting them beforehand was also an easy process, you can definitely tell they are animal lovers, sombra came back home happy!
Jennifer is absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend! I am new to Rover and she was very understanding and accommodating. She kept me updated with details about every visit and the cutest pictures. I can’t say enough great things about Jennifer’s loving care…and my dog Gracie wholeheartedly agrees!
Zachy is always so happy to be with Jennifer and Scott…they are always so kind with him. Couldn’t recommend more!

Schedule
My work is flexible and often portable, so I can be available just about any time. If I get your request before I go to bed, I can be at your home by 10am the next day.

We treat dogs like family. A friend once told us “If reincarnation is real, I want to come back as one of your dogs”. We spend lots of time doing enrichment activities with the dog we sit for. We also really enjoy walking, so we would absolutely love to take your dog for long walks!
A typical day
First thing in the morning, we take the dogs out for potty, then breakfast and some snuggle time while we drink our coffee. Around noon, we like to go for a long walk outdoors - we call it checking our p-mail. After walks we usually have nap time. In the afternoon we like to play games like "hide and seek" - they "stay"... you go "hide", aka go in the next room... when you say come, they get to come "find" you. Gets really silly sometimes, but it's fun. Evenings usually involve cuddle time on the sofa and watching TV... and there is always a treat at bedtime.

- We like to know the schedule they're used to for feeding and potty breaks and we try to stick to that as much as possible. We have cared for a lot of different types of dogs over the years, our own, our friends and family's, and many, many fosters... we can handle just about anything. Whatever special attention your dog wants or needs, just let me know.
