About: I work from home full-time. This means your pet will receive frequent supervision, companionship, potty & play breaks and lots of attention throughout the day! I will provide a safe and loving environment where your pet will be comfortable and cared for like they are part of the family. I've cared for animals in every stage of life. I have extensive experience with cats including bottle-feeding orphaned kittens, caring for senior cats, and supporting pets with age related needs. I also have experience with puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, and I understand that each pet requires individualized care, patience, and attention. Open to hosting dogs in home and drop ins for cats. I work from home full-time, allowing me to provide frequent supervision and attention throughout the day. Work is flexible allowing for lots of love and activities. I have a large, fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor play with my dog. When not outdoors our house guest will primarily stay with me in my home office as my co-worker and side kick. With lots of breaks for tummy rubs and head scritches of course!

About: Animals have been a lifelong part of my life. I grew up around farm animals and have owned and cared for dogs ranging in size from a Toy Poodle to a Great Dane. I also raised a puppy through the Leader Dogs for the Blind puppy-raising program in Michigan and have experience training dogs in both obedience and agility. I previously worked as a veterinary assistant at two veterinary clinics, which gave me valuable hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats with a wide variety of personalities, ages and needs. I especially love learning about canine behavior and training and am always reading and continuing to learn. I’m currently working with my daughter as she learns about showing dogs with the goal of becoming an AKC Junior Handler. Most importantly, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I’m attentive to each animal’s individual personality and routine, and I prioritize safety, communication and making pets feel comfortable while their people are away. I’m happy to provide photos and updates during every visit. I have a flexible daytime schedule that allows me to provide walks and drop-in visits throughout the week. I’m especially available during weekday mornings and afternoons, making me a great fit for pets who need a midday walk, potty break, meal, medication, playtime or companionship while their owners are at work or away. I also offer evening and weekend availability when my schedule allows and am happy to discuss recurring weekly care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my first priorities. I take time to learn each pet’s normal routine, temperament, handling preferences and any special instructions before providing care. During visits, I’m attentive to doors, gates, leashes and other potential safety concerns and will always follow your care instructions closely. My previous experience working as a veterinary assistant has made me particularly observant of changes in an animal’s behavior or well-being. I also understand the trust involved in allowing someone into your home and will treat your home, privacy and belongings with respect. I provide dependable communication and am happy to send photos and updates after each visit so you know how your pet is doing.

I do volunteering 2 times a month on Saturday’s so I would be available for a bit before or any time after. While I am currently not offering in home services at my home, I am comfortable providing services at your home. I will follow your instructions given!
