“Valerie was great with Decker while we were away on vacation. I appreciated her daily updates and pics. It was clear from the meet & greet that Decker liked Valerie and her pics confirmed he was more than comfortable with her and appreciated her belly rubs. Would definitely recommend Valerie!!”

“Lori was fantastic with our kitties and on short notice was able to accommodate our travel times. She was able to get our very shy cat to come out and even pet her...this happens with almost no one so she has a special touch! We will definitely being contacting Lori again.”

“Rachel is the perfect sitter for someone anxious to leave their cat alone! She always sent great photos, even though our cat is camera shy. Upon meeting Rachel, our cat immediately went up to her and purred. Our cat is always shy and often hisses at new people, but she loved Rachel from the beginning. I look forward to booking Rachel again!!”

“Eva was an excellent sitter for our two young cats while we were out of the country! She sent many pictures of them playing and kept them great company in our absence. We could not recommend her more!”

“I always have personal issues leaving my cats because I worry about them a lot and I’m just so annoyingly specific about how I do everything for my cats but Sharon is an angel and took the best care of them. I can’t thank her enough for all the pictures and how sweet she speaks to and treats my cats. Thank you Sharon”

About: I have dog sat and cared for many other dogs and animals before. I will always make sure the animals are well treated for and the house is taken care of. I am very friendly and strive to make sure every experience is friendly. I have two dogs of my own. I am excited to be able to take care of your dogs and make sure they get what they need while you are away from home. Something that sets me apart from other sitters and walkers is that I am very client forward and will work to meet your needs. I am currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups, I am available for walks and check ins Monday/wednesday/ thursday and house sitting Monday- Sunday! “Taryn was wonderful! She was kind, respectful, and made me feel like taking care of my kitty wasn’t just a job. She made him feel really at home and he can be pretty shy. I loved seeing the daily pictures. She was very flexible with my schedule as well which I so appreciate!! Would definitely recommend to anyone and would book again for sure. This was my first time using Rover and it was a lovely experience with her.”

“Kelly was super communicative and showed up on time for each of the drop in visits with my cats. She took tons of photos and when I came home a week later the cats barely reacted, which lets me know they were well looked after and didn't feel starved for attention (or food!). I would definitely recommend Kelly!”

“Braxton was wonderful--our anxious dog had an immediate positive response to her at the meet-and-greet. She communicated consistently and was very professional. We needed her to fill in some gaps from our regular sitter and we will DEFINITELY use her again. Loved her!!!”
“Definitely a preferred sitter, you can really tell she cares about animals and their well being. Took so many photos and left little stories that make such a difference when you’re missing your fur babies.”

““When a man loves cats, I am his friend and comrade, without further introduction.” - Mark Twain. This was our 1st time using Rover and 1st time leaving our fuzzbutts alone for longer than a day since they were born 3 years ago. Patricia’s detailed updates and photos showed she clearly loves and understands cats. Most importantly, our cats quickly overcame their shyness and came out to play with her! When we returned from our weekend vacation, they were all in good moods from being well cared for while we were gone. It looks like we’ve found our go-to cat sitter. Thank you so much for taking great care of our little brood, Patricia!”

“Chandler is phenomenal! we’re always so grateful to her when we need to go out of town, especially with the chaos of the holidays Chandler has been a life saver! we’re so appreciative of how dependable, communicative and attentive Chandler has been! we cannot recommend her enough!”

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life. My husband and I currently have 3 cats and 2 dogs of our own - all rescues! We tend to gravitate towards the more challenging types, (older, behaviorally "challenged", or generally the "once you get to know them, they're really sweet" type). I've managed two different Doggy Day Care facilities: one here in KC, and another in White Plains, NY. I've also got years of experience working with dog rescue groups here in KC. Because of all this experience, there's no pet I can't handle. I'm comfortable with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and attitudes! My current full time job is 100% remote, so I'm very flexible when it comes to your pet care needs, (pop-ins or longer stays. As long as you have wifi, I'm good). From my time working in professional pet care, I'm very used to all types of situations. I free-feed my own pets, but I have no problem following your feeding/care schedules, or maintaining a medication regimen.

“I’m a first timer to Rover and Kara did a great job of easing my worries, with a meet n great before and daily texts and pictures. I came home to a happy and healthy cat. Already have her booked again, highly recommend!”

Grays Park cat parents share their Rover experiences
Lori did a great job with our cats, Luna and Puck — and a great job keeping my mind at ease while we traveled. Luna got the attention she craves, and Puck, whose usual mode is to hide from anyone he doesn’t know, emerged to enjoy her visits. Twice daily photos of happy cats made our trip delightful.

This was our 2nd time booking with Avery, both times for a holiday away! She is amazing with our 2 cats and is so thorough and communicative, which has been such a necessity and relief for the care of our kitty boys who have anxiety and medical needs. Will rebook whenever possible!

Mr. Kenneth looked after Charlie while I was away and he was fantastic. He came ones a day, kept everything spotless, and sent me little updates and photos that honestly made my trip so much less stressful. Couldn’t ask for better – thank you! 5 stars, highly recommend.

Sydney has been caring for our 4 cats while we’re away for years now, but this last drop-in meant so much to us, as due to weather, our friends couldn’t make it over today and Sydney was able to jump in day of to come over to feed our cats for us. Thank you so much for being a life-saver in a pinch!

Rabecca is awesome! I reached out to her last minute for a week of drop-in visits for my senior cat who is undergoing some health problems. Rabecca responded to all my messages quickly and was flexible with the visit times. While we were away she was punctual and sent great photos and updates. She also administered medicine to my cat without issue, and followed all my instructions for feeding her (a little more complicated than normal due to her illness). I would highly recommend Rabecca to anyone seeking a reliable, trustworthy and communicative pet sitter!

Kelly was super communicative and showed up on time for each of the drop in visits with my cats. She took tons of photos and when I came home a week later the cats barely reacted, which lets me know they were well looked after and didn't feel starved for attention (or food!). I would definitely recommend Kelly!
