Hi! I’m a dedicated, work-from-home pet sitter who specializes in senior dogs and high-needs pets. I have extensive experience with everything from daily medications and mobility support to anxious and reactive dogs, and I’m very comfortable following detailed care routines. My goal is always to meet pets exactly where they are and help them feel safe, relaxed, and understood. I work from home, so your pets get a lot of companionship and supervision throughout the day. I never leave the house for more than four hours at a time, and most days I’m home far more than that. I truly enjoy spending quality time with pets—whether that’s calm couch time with a senior, structured walks, or mentally engaging enrichment activities. I regularly create enrichment using treats, puzzles, and scent work to keep dogs happy, stimulated, and fulfilled at their own pace. I’m also very happy to care for cats! From shy seniors to confident social butterflies, I respect each cat’s personality and routine. I’m comfortable with medications, special diets, litter box maintenance, and giving them the space or attention they prefer. I’ve been fostering senior dogs for over five years, which has given me hands-on experience with age-related needs, chronic conditions, and end-of-life comfort care. In addition, I’ve owned my own dogs for over a decade, so responsible pet care is deeply ingrained in my daily life—not just something I do as a job. For house sitting clients, I take caring for your home just as seriously as caring for your pets. I treat every home as if it were my own: keeping things clean and tidy, following household instructions carefully, bringing in mail or packages, taking trash out as needed, and maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I understand how important it is to have peace of mind while you’re away, and I aim to leave your home exactly as you left it (or better). I have a fenced yard and live in a quiet neighborhood with multiple parks around, this allows your dog to roam the yard in between walks and then get to go play in the park!

Lauren was the absolute best! Meeting w her previously to scheduling visits, I could tell she was a real animal lover. My old girl Chloe was recently diagnosed with diabetes and I had only just started medication when I needed to schedule a sitter due to work. I was naturally a nervous wreck but Lauren was extremely competent & communicative. She sent me a bunch of updates and photos every time she stopped by and went above and beyond to make me feel better about leaving Chloe to someone else. I will absolutely be using her services again!
Lauren was very understanding of our anxious pup and worked well with her. She communicated clearly with us and provided a detailed update with pictures. We would happily work with her again.

Lauren was absolutely fantastic for our drop in visits! She was punctual, friendly, and clearly an animal lover from the minute we met her. She took the time to set up a meet and greet with us a few days before our first drop in visit, and seemed genuinely willing to get to know our dog so their time together would feel very comfortable for him! She sent me detailed updates after each visit with what they did with pictures which is always fun to see during my work day! In summary, Lauren is again so great and I would recommend her to anyone in need of a dog sitter or walker!
