“Ava filled in for us in an emergency/last minute situation and was a life saver!! She arrived on time, took him for a great walk, and made my nervous boy feel comfy 🫶🏼 she is fantastic and so thankful for her flexibility! Would recommend any time!!”

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life. My husband and I currently have 3 cats and 2 dogs of our own - all rescues! We tend to gravitate towards the more challenging types, (older, behaviorally "challenged", or generally the "once you get to know them, they're really sweet" type). I've managed two different Doggy Day Care facilities: one here in KC, and another in White Plains, NY. I've also got years of experience working with dog rescue groups here in KC. Because of all this experience, there's no pet I can't handle. I'm comfortable with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and attitudes! My current full time job is 100% remote, so I'm very flexible when it comes to your pet care needs, (pop-ins or longer stays. As long as you have wifi, I'm good). From my time working in professional pet care, I'm very used to all types of situations. I free-feed my own pets, but I have no problem following your feeding/care schedules, or maintaining a medication regimen.
“Michael has been a wonderful addition to our girl’s daily routine. She is so excited to see him in the morning, and comes back from her walks so relaxed and calm. I cannot thank Michael enough for his care.”

“Lori came highly recommended to me by a friend and another rover user , and we are very happy to have found her ! She takes great care in what she does and I am confident finn is in good hands when with her. Looking forward to utilizing her for more walks very soon !”

“Sarah is always so great with my dog and he loves going on walks with her! She is so quick to respond to messages and really flexible with my hectic schedule! Would definitely recommend her working with any and all dogs :)”

“Emily went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable since we are new to having a dog walker. Emily’s updates and pictures were fantastic. Cyrus loved her snuggles and pets! He was nice and tired after a 2 mile walk.”

About: I’ve always loved being around animals and caring for them comes naturally to me. I have experience with dogs and cats of different ages and personalities, including senior pets. I’m patient, dependable, and make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company, I truly enjoy spending time with animals and giving them the attention they deserve. Caring for pets is something I truly enjoy, so it fits very naturally into my everyday life. I make time each day for walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and making sure pets feel comfortable and loved. I have a flexible routine, which allows me to give pets the attention and care they deserve throughout the day, including weekends when needed. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I always care for them with patience, love, and attention. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I try to keep pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I pay attention to their behavior, make sure they feel safe, and give them lots of affection so they feel relaxed and cared for while their family is away.
“Chandler does a great job with my old pup. She helps give his meds in the afternoon and lets him lead the way on how far or how long he is interested in walking. We are grateful for Chandler.”

About: I take my dog (Louie) on walks daily, so I would love to add your dog to our routine! I’ve been dog sitting for 20+ years, in addition to my family always having at least one dog. I personally love smaller dogs. I have experience with rat terriers, cavapoo, yorkies and cavalier king charles breeds. I love pets and think they’re so important to a family! Let me help you keep your pet happy and healthy 😁 I live on the Plaza so I’m in a very walkable part of town, near many parks. I walk my dog in the evenings after work - a quick workout for both of us. We love to walk around Kansas City together! When I’m home, Louie is always right by my side - on the couch, in bed or even while I’m cooking. I crate him most nights and while I’m at work. I live in an apartment so walks are very necessary - we go on at least one a day or we run in my apartment’s dog park. Would love to add your dog to the mix!

“Ron has walked our dog several times during the day. We appreciate his punctuality and ability to help on short notice. He came to meet our dog before the scheduled walk and we really appreciated it. Good communication as well.”

“Amber has been the best! Used her on a weekly-basis for walks.. reliable, flexible with my changing schedule and took great care of my dog who is pretty selective with who he trusts!”

“Kimball is wonderful! She happily met our pup beforehand and was very professional and attentive to her needs. She did a great job of walking her and loving on her, making sure she got a good walk in while we are at work.”
About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—from playful puppies and kittens to senior cats and dogs who need extra TLC. I’ve walked and watched pets for friends and family for years, and I’ll treat your fur baby like one of my own. As a professional hairstylist, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to check in throughout the day between appointments. Whether it’s playtime, a walk, or just some comforting company, I’m happy to help give your pet the love and care they deserve. I’m currently working part-time and have a fair amount of flexibility in my schedule, which allows me to give your pet the attention and care it needs throughout the day I offer walks, check ins and boarding. A walk would include 20-30 mins around the neighborhood, and to make sure they have water and a treat when we return. I have often looked after friends cats too, which would include play time, cuddles, and scooping their box and making sure their food and water is full.
About: Hi there! My name is Leslie and I would love to watch after your pet. My family has dogs for most of my life and I know how to take care of them. I can walk, play with, or even just stop in to check on your pet. I adore dogs and I welcome all breeds. Cats are no issue either! I’ve lived with a cat in the past too :) Please contact me if you would like to arrange something! I’m happy to make any accommodations that may be necessary. Can't wait to meet your furry friend! :) - Leslie I currently work full-time. I’m in office Tuesday-Thursday and work from home on Mondays and Fridays. I’m flexible with work on Mondays and Fridays to assist, but Tuesday-Thursday is a bit tougher for me. I could stop in to check on them before or after work. I’ll be sure to make it known if I am ever unavailable during a time slot you request. I will not be hosting any pets in my own home, but I can visit your pet at your house. Please let me know how you need me to care for your pet and I'll take care of him/her! :)

About: I’ve loved animals of all kinds since I was a kid! For the last 8 years I have worked as a veterinary assistant working hands on with pets of all kinds including anxious pets, special needs pets, and geriatric pets. I’m comfortable giving medications or following specific directions for pets that need just a little more attention. I of course love pets of all ages whether that’s playing with young pets or giving older pets more accommodations. I’m currently working part-time at an animal clinic, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pet! I go for walks twice daily already and your pet would make a perfect addition! I live in an apartment with my 13 year old cat, Juliet. Juliet is a very sweet cat but will typically hide when other pets are boarded in the home. My apartment is located in the Volker neighborhood with parks and plenty of walking trails nearby. For in home boarding, pets are welcome on my furniture including the bed. I am happy to follow any and all requests for boarding / caretaking inside your home, including giving medications either orally or injectables.
