“Elizabeth was great! When we were out of town we had some noise going on at the house and she even called out emergency contact to let her know what was going on. She loved for Roni and made sure that he was taken care of and loved 😍”

“Tyrese has been incredible to work with! He is responsible, communicative, and kind. He has been taking great care of my dog and clearly has love and compassion for animals. We will definitely continue booking with him!”
“Emily is very timely and spends time with our dogs and they really seem ti like her. We are feeling very lucky to have finally found someone we can trust in our home and with our dogs when we aren’t there !”

“Jennifer did a wonderful job caring for our three dogs - one of which is a senior dog. She is a great communicator and established a strong rapport quickly with our fuzzy family. We strongly recommend her to anyone needing professional, compassionate care for their pets.”

“Thank you for checking in on our cats, Kato and Gypsys, and feeding them daily while we were away. We really appreciate all the pictures and updates we received. Additionally, you went above and beyond by even cleaning out the cat litter and other tasks we didn’t even request. We have other trips planned this year and will definitely be inquiring with you first to watch Kato and Gypsy if you are available. Thank you very much, Kelly!”

“Elisha was phenomenal in taking care of my baby. She sent updates, pictures, and action shots. I was never nervous about him the whole week I was gone. She was that great at updating. This is the first time I have let a stranger watch my dog so I was extremely nervous leaving, but her updates put my mind at ease. We did a meet and greet/run through of care before I left. Booster (my dog) interviewed her and gave the signal she would be a good fit to care for him. She followed instructions well and gave exceptional care. I couldn’t recommend her more!!”

“Gordon was awesome! Our 8-year old Pyrenees, Nala, who is good aggressive and has never been left with non-family members. Gordon made it manageable. He even dropped back by an extra time (after Nala caught and ate an adult squirrel) to take her out for an extra poo. Gordon’s pictures and funny comments gave us peace of mind during our son’s wedding in Texas.”

“I had Stephanie drop in to let my dog out while I was at work and she did a lovely job. She sent me great photos to update and went above and beyond what was asked!”

"I cannot recommend Ashli enough! They recently did a drop-in visit for my dog, Stormy, and the experience was fantastic. Ashli was punctual, followed all care instructions perfectly, and sent the most adorable photo updates that really put my mind at ease. It’s clear they have a genuine love for animals. I returned home to a very happy, relaxed pup. I will definitely be booking again!"

Ali was absolutely wonderful watching our dog for a few days. It gave us such peace of mind knowing she was being so well cared for while we were away. Ali was attentive, reliable, and kept us updated with great communication throughout the entire stay. We could tell our dog was happy and comfortable with her. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter!

Olivia was great! Came over a few days before to meet the dogs and myself, which made me feel more comfortable! Both of my dogs loved her. She let both dogs out, played with them and sent me a bunch of photos afterwards! Highly recommend and will be using again!

Our first experience with Rover was a breeze thanks to Lindsey. We loved getting pictures and a recap of how our dog, Lily, was doing while we were away. Lily is a busy girl and Lindsey provided lots of activities for her at each check in. Highly recommend Lindsey!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
