About: I’ve taken care of numerous pets for my family before. I’ve house sat and taken care of my dog since I was 14 and I’ve got training experience from when my dog was a puppy. I currently work part time doordashing, and babysitting so I can take care of your pets whenever you need a sitter. Additionally I have grown up in Overland Park so I would love to take your pets to parks and other places for walks. I have a golden doodle and we have had many play times in our backyard that has a fence. I free fed my dog but I’ve worked with family members who have a feeding schedule! My dog has a crate that we sometimes use depending on how long we are away from the house.
“Jason went above and beyond in every way. He took amazing care of Moose. The daily updates and photos meant so much to me while I was away on vacation. Knowing my dog was in great hands helped me relax exponentially. It’s rare to find someone so dependable, kind, and attentive. I feel incredibly lucky to have found him using this app. Of course, I would highly recommend hiring him to anyone with future travels ahead. I already plan to book him, again, in March for my next trip!”

About: I’ve taken care of my dog max since I was 10. I also worked at a doggy daycare for 3 years where I took care of many different dogs such as sizes, breeds, and puppies/elderly dogs. I also have experience administering medications to dogs that need them. I am currently home from college looking to take care of dogs or cats over the summer. I am available any day of the week at any time during the day! I treat dogs according to their behavior. All dogs act differently whether they are playful, elderly, or aggressive. I make sure to take care of them depending on how they act and what they need to gain trust!
About: I grew up on a working farm with working dogs and have had dogs my entire life. I currently love and manage a pack of 4 dogs in my home. 1 Great Pyrenees, 1 Pyrador, and 2 Komonees pups. They are my world! These are BIG girls. 60-90 pounds. They’re surprisingly agile so small dogs are ok! 100+ pound dogs are welcome. And every dog in between! We love dogs of all shapes and sizes and have hosted pups from 12-130 pounds. I’m experienced triaging in an emergency vet clinic, and can perform basic first aid, medication administration, post-op care, and more! In the past, I co-owned my own reptile and exotic LLC for 5 years, KC Cresties (dissolved due to divorce). So I’m comfortable and experienced caring for your scaly friends, sugar gliders, chinchillas, ferrets, prairie dogs, opossums, or whatever other cool friend(s) you have. Large snakes, monitors, and Iguanas are ok! My family successfully rehabbed 2 baby raccoons that lost their mom and returned them to the wild when it was time. The day they left and never came home was filled with joy and sadness that we were very fortunate to be a part of. We have 2 cats in the house who are friendly with both other cats and dogs. I keep a sturdy metal baby gate up for their space away from the dogs so they have a sanctuary. There’s very few animals I don’t have experience with, and I love them all. Big dogs and working dogs are no problem. Trouble with leash pulling? No problem. Got a hyper jumper? It’s ok, I’ve got a solid foundation. Puppies? No sweat, I have old laminate flooring and we walk every 2-3 hours. Lastly, you can count me as a former HR professional surrounding school aged children based organizations. I left HR to pursue a career with animals and am currently going doing online classes to earn my vet tech degree. Animals have always been my passion. All my current classes are online so I’m able to accommodate most schedules for pick up and drop off. I have kids and a husband that help me out if I need to leave the house. I’ll treat your pets with the same love and respect I treat my own. Pets are a big part of our lives and they are our family. Feeding time is approximately 8am and 6pm (unless otherwise requested). We add scrambled eggs to our morning feeding and homemade dog food to our dinner. Homemade food is AAFCO approved recipes. Every dog has their own food dish and 3 giant water bowls are available from 6am to 8pm. Water is picked up overnight for housebreaking purposes. Treat circles are 2-3 times per day. We work on basics. Sit, lay, paw, etc. Level 2 commands are practiced once per day for those who have mastered level 1. I love a good game of catch the treat! After commands, I always toss a few rounds of treats. I have a well stocked variety of treats, so your pups dietary preferences can be honored. Each dog is walked separately. Belle alerts us when it’s walk time. Every 2-3 hours. Weather permitting, our dogs like to sit and wait on the porch for their turn to walk. It’s a gated 10x20. Please let me know if your dog is an escape artist or a jumper so that I can take proper safety precautions. If your pup does decides they need an additional potty break, that’s no problem either. Our dogs are all current on vaccinations and take heart-worm and flea preventive through our vet’s office. Records can be provided upon request. Cat sitting can be provided on the other half of the house divided by a sturdy metal baby gate. Cats will be provided with toys and separate meal dishes according to your feeding instructions. Litter will be changed daily. Small animals and Exotic care: for most exotics leaving the home is very stressful and recommended care is in your home. However there are exceptions to this rule. We can discuss your unique needs and what is most appropriate for your pets health and well being. Some animals in small habitats don’t mind staying somewhere new as long as they’re safe in their world. Transportable habitats are welcome.

About: I’ve have taken care of animals my whole life. Both of my parents are veterinarians! I’m able to give medications & care for many animals! I also recently worked as an apprentice at a dog training facility & can help with basic obedience. I am currently working in the Kansas City area with plenty of free time to visit or stay with your pets! I will be available most weekends & weekdays. I recently lost my 11-year-old french bulldog, Scout. She meant the world to me & showed me how to be the best owner/friend I can be. I will treat your animals with the same love & respect.
About: I became a foster parent for GPSCA at the end of 2020 after adopting my bubbi with them during the summer. I took care of a mom and 3 puppies as my first assignment, all were adopted! <3 A few months after that, I fostered an older dog who had recently had surgery, who also got adopted after a couple of months with me. I love playing with dogs and getting to know all of their different personalities. My bubbi is an old man who loves to just snuggle and play catch with you. He's all about those TREATS too. Recently promoted to a hybrid job, 3 days in person, Mon-Weds. Unlike before where I was WFH. This would take me away for about 8-9 hours on those days. I know it can be scary for a pet to meet someone new. I like to make any dog I'm pet-sitting feel comfortable in its own environment. Whether that means I just sit there until they are comfy with me or abiding my their normal routine, I don't want them to feel out of place.
“Thank you so much Kara! Kara was very generous with her time, walking our Labrador retriever at every visit, playing and refilling her food and water. We are confident that she was well taken care of.”

“I was extremely happy with the care Kimberly gave our pups. We booked a last minute trip and she bent over backwards to be available when our dogs needed her. Her communication was excellent. She always sent updates and pictures when checking in on the dogs. I would not hesitate to recommend her to others as well as to book her again! I'd give her more than 5 stars if I could. :)”
“Carol was such a wonderful care taker to our girl, Josie. I loved all of her updates and photos. She was so reliable and gave our pup lots of love and attention while we were away. Definitely recommend!!”

About: I’m often told I love animals more than humans and honestly, that’s pretty accurate. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I started as a dog walker and pet sitter at just 12 years old, and over time, that passion has grown into years of hands-on experience with pets of all kinds. I currently have a very loved cat of my own and spend my free time volunteering with the Lawrence Humane Society, fostering neonatal kittens, and the Kansas City Pig Rescue Network, which has given me experience with a wide range of animals, personalities, and care needs. I’m comfortable caring for everything from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets who need extra patience and attention. Whether your pet needs playtime, structure, or just someone calm and caring to be there, I tailor my care to what makes them feel safest and happiest. My goal is simple: to make sure your pet feels loved, comfortable, and secure while you’re away, and that you feel completely confident they’re in good hands. I work in healthcare with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate quality time and attention to your pet. On my days off, I’m fully available for visits, drop-ins, and extended care. I’m also available before or after shifts depending on the day. I’m very intentional with my bookings and will only accept requests that I’m confident align with my schedule, so your pet always receives reliable, consistent care. I’m communicative and will keep you updated with photos and check-ins. attention to detail are my top priorities. I also have hands-on experience working with dogs and cats at the Lawrence Humane Society, where I’ve cared for animals who are often timid, neglected, or previously abused. This has strengthened my patience and ability to read animal behavior, allowing me to create a calm, safe, and trusting environment. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs so they feel comfortable and secure. I’m experienced with pets of all ages, including those who need extra patience or a slower approach. In your home, I respect your space and follow all instructions closely. I provide attentive, compassionate care and always keep you updated so you feel confident while you’re away.
“Ana did a spectacular job with my very shy cat. She was kind and patient and gave my kitty plenty of time to get used to her. I received lots of texts, photos and videos, which made it so easy and reassuring to know my fur baby was getting really excellent care. I will certainly ask Ana to take care of Cully again. Thank you, Ana!”

Dogs bring such a joyful energy into our lives, and I would love to bring that same joyful energy to your pups! I have no patients at lunch time either! I’m free most weekends as well if you would need a dog-sitter for the weekend. Super flexible! I am on your team in the way you need me to care for your dog. I am happy to help with walking, cleaning up after, playing, you name it :)

“Susan is awesome with our Flex! He really enjoys her company! She takes great care of him and I can tell they really get along well with each other. I’m sure he can’t wait for his next visit. ☺️”

“Rachel dropped in on our two doggos, Jack & Hazel, over a long weekend while we were out of town. They instantly clicked with her and felt comfy being themselves with Rachel. We will definitely be booking with her going forward for future travels!”
