“Our experience was so wonderful and perfect that we felt like we were blessed by divine intervention to have found a person and family that did not just board our little Luchu for two weeks but also loved her and cared for her like we would have ourselves at home. Mo's home was like an exciting, happy, and fun vacation for Luchu! The attention to details and performance on every level was a thing of dreams for us. Even Luchu's preference to be a sentinel in the masters' bedroom at night as she does at home was found and given. We love Mo! Mo sent us pictures, videos, and communications every day that kept us in touch with our Luchu and it really helped us endure our time separated from her. Real dog people have the capacity to feel an emotional connection with other folks' puppy dogs and we could see how Luchu's personality and spirit was loved and cherished during her stay.”

“Karrie was AWESOME!! She was extremely attentive and responsive!! We received wonderful pictures everyday twice a day and Gidgett always seemed so happy and well taken care of. Very thankful for such a wonderful, caring and attentive dog lover to care for our dog!! Thank you, Karrie!!”

“Another absolutely amazing experience with Erin! I really appreciate the detailed communication and pictures for my dogs stay. It’s always a good sign when she comes home and just wants to nap! I can tell she got lots of love, play time, and was well taken care of! 10/10 as always! Thank you, Erin!!”

“Gina is an amazing host for our pets. She is very accommodating and was able to get our dogs in on short notice due to family events that came up. The dogs always have a great time at her place. We highly recommend her!”

“Super nice and able to accommodate my dog on short notice. My dog definitely had a blast and instantly made himself at home, playing with their dogs and getting cozy.”

“Elizabeth was fantastic! George loved his stay and we felt very comfortable leaving George with Elizabeth. She sent frequent photos of their adventures. I highly recommend Elizabeth to anyone who wants the best care for their furry friend.”

“Nate and the family were great. They made the process simple. We enjoyed receiving a couple pictures and a video over the 3-4 day stay. Once home, our pup passed out from all the excitement he had at Nate’s. Job well done.”

“Laura was amazing with Walter! She sent me frequent updates that kept my mind at ease, and Walter seemed genuinely comfortable with her and her home. Her home and yard are very clean, overall a great environment! Thank you for taking such good care of him 💕”

“First time boarding and was very nervous but Angela was amazing and totally reassured me!!! she took wonderful care of my kitty and sent me little texts and pictures throughout the stay! would 100% book again and would definitely recommend her!”

“Alma was a great sitter for Nellie while we went out of town for a few nights! Before the booking, we met and she took notes about Nellie's care and schedule. During our trip, she was very communicative with updates/photos and took Nellie for many walks. We will absolutely use her again and would recommend for anyone looking! Thank you!”

“Susan and her family were great with our doggo. Coordinating his stay was easy and we appreciated the meet & greet before booking. During his stay, Susan sent lots of pix and updates, giving us a lot of peace of mind. Our pup’s translation back home was very smooth, which told us he wasn’t stressed while we were away, and that is what every pet owner hopes for. We’ll definitely reach out again if we need a dog sitter in the future.”

“Iryna was fantastic. Will use her again as often as she is available. Her communication was phenomenal, she treated Midas with so much love like one of her own pet. I really appreciate her, and feel so lucky to Have found her.”

“First time using Rover and I felt comfortable immediately after getting to Shelly's to drop off our old guy. Picking him up, it was obvious that he was comfortable and loved while there. It was such a great experience!”

About: I've had pets my whole life, and love all kinds! Through the years, I've had cats and dogs, birds, ferrets, hamsters, rabbits, mice, and hermit crabs as personal pets. I currently have a 10-year-old Bichon Frise, a two-year-old rabbit, and a one-year-old cat. My sweet Siren (cat) passed away last year just shy of her 22nd birthday. I'm available to help other people out by providing a loving, friendly face to walk or visit your pet, or to watch them in our home when you need. I provide gentle care that is tailored to each pet. Some pets need a quiet and calm presence, others want to expend energy and play! I adapt to the needs of the pet so every pet can feel comfortable. I'm a teacher currently on summer break! I have two kids at home, a teenage son and an elementary-age daughter, and if your pet comes to stay with us then he or she can expect plenty of love, pets, and cuddles and as much play as they want! When I come to your home, I make sure your pet has plenty of food and fresh water, as well as clean bedding. I spend time playing, petting, brushing, and/or walking your pet, whatever you and they would like. In our home, we have a fenced-in backyard and a friendly Bichon Frise who loves other dogs and cats. Let me know if your pet requires medication administration or any special instructions, any I am able to accommodate that.

“Katy is a wonderful dog sitter. Every day I got updates on how the my babies were doing and lots of pictures. This is my second time using her and I highly recommend her to watch your babies. Worry free and stress free. Thank you for watching my babies for me!!!”

I cannot say enough good things about Elizabeth. I used to feel anxious when I left Lily (King Charles Cavalier) or tried to board her at a kennel. I now can enjoy a short trip and not worry when she is in Elizabeth’s care. Elizabeth and her pup, Louie treat Lily as if she is part of their family. I love that! I also like that she only takes 2 pets at a time.

This is the 2nd time we have brought our “babies” to Julie. They absolutely love her!!! And so do we!!! We have no worries at all when leaving them with Julie. She gives us complete peace of mind. I love the daily texts and pictures. I will continue to go to Julie whenever we need a Rover.

My 10 year old labradoodle has never been away from my wife and I for more than 2-3 days. The first day we met Gina he was immediately comfortable with her and the house. We took a 5 day trip to Disney and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch our dog. She kept us updated everyday with videos and pictures of how he was doing and acclimating with the other dogs. Thank you Gina for making our trip stress free knowing our doodle was cared for and in great hands!

Money seems to have had a great time while I was away.Jennifer did an amazing job watching my dog, Money, while I was out on vacation. She kept in contact with me the entire time and sent pictures and updates regularly, which really helped me feel comfortable knowing he was doing well and having a good time. She was also very accommodating and understanding with my late-night pickup after I got back into town, which I really appreciated. When I picked him up, he seemed happy, relaxed, and very well cared for. You can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches and takes the time to make sure they’re comfortable and treated well. I really appreciated the communication, professionalism, flexibility, and peace of mind while I was away. I would definitely recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter, and I’ll absolutely book with her again in the future! Thank u very much for watching over money I Kno he's a big dog

Lauren & Cannon were awesome dog sitters! They are patient, calm, & kind. My dogs must have picked up on those vibes b/c they RAN into the house, tails wagging, the minute we got there. L&C were great communicators & sent pics & updates over the weekend. Their dog, Wally, was really cool & my dogs loved him. I would 100% recommend these Rovers and will definitely use them again in the future!

We had a wonderful experience with Brigid! She took great care of our dog and sent daily updates with photos, videos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind—especially since our pup can be nervous around new people. It’s clear she genuinely loves the dogs she boards. We came home to a happy pup and would definitely book with her again!

Karen was absolutely wonderful with our dog, China. China had back surgery two years ago and lost her dog-sister last year, so she’s been a bit more sensitive and not very comfortable staying around other dogs. Karen was incredibly understanding and kept China as the only dog in her home, which gave us so much peace of mind. She sent us daily pictures and updates, and we could tell China was relaxed and well cared for the entire time. When we got back, China was happy, healthy, and completely herself — as if we had never left. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Karen.

Sara is a God send! I was really sick and needed someone to care for Macy, and I needed that person to pick her up because I was so sick. Sara was there for me and Macy. She came and got her and kept her for two days while I recovered. I’m very grateful for Sara. ❤️

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
