“Clancy was well loved and cared for. I received multiple photos each day. We were away for two weeks and Clancy looked content and cuddled with the entire time. We will certainly use Mo the next time we need to be away!”

“Natalia is so nice and accommodating! She has a huge heart, and I trust her with my sweet babies! She was willing to walk me every step of the way, and have the patience to talk to me anytime I needed to express care and concern. I’ll definitely be using the service again!”

“Erin was very responsive and kept me in the loop on my puppy’s daily goings on. I appreciated all of the photos she shared. My furry dude was having the time of his life and had a big grin on his face in pretty much all of the pictures. We would love to use her again.”

“Angela was very accommodating and took great care of my cats! I would definitely book again and would 100% recommend her services to anyone looking for excellent pet care 😊”

“I could tell my pup was well taken care during her time with Donald & Affton. If possible they will be the ones I’ll have her start with every time I need Rover!”

“Karrie was fantastic! She was so accommodating and let us meet her before our trip. She sent us so many updates and I absolutely trust her with my dog. We’ll absolutely be requesting her in the future.”

“Kristy was fantastic! She was very communicative and sent pictures and updates of how my dog Scout was doing and treated him like he was her own! Would definitely book with her again.”

“Brittney and Adam were so wonderful to our Rosie girl! Excellent and timely communication, provided a plethora of pictures and ensured Rosie was exercised, well watered/feed and most importantly well loved. Thank you so much for taking care of our baby girl!”

“Nate is the best! I’m so thankful I found him & his family. Jett loves his whole family. I always know he is well cared for while I’m on vacation! Jett is always so excited to go on “his vacation to Nate’s!””

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for many years and currently care for my own dogs, bird, and aquariums every day. Friends and family have trusted me to help care for their pets while they’re away. My background in healthcare has taught me to be dependable, detail-oriented, and calm in unexpected situations. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I’ll treat your pet with the same patience, kindness, and attention that I give my own. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I currently have a flexible schedule and will keep my Rover calendar updated so it always reflects my availability. I make pet care a priority and enjoy spending quality time with animals through walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. I understand how important consistency is for pets and will follow your instructions and routines to help them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I know every pet is different because I’ve experienced that with my own dogs. One of my dogs has epilepsy and takes medication on a strict schedule, so I understand how important routines, careful observation, and clear communication are. I have a fenced backyard and will follow your pet’s feeding, medication, exercise, and care instructions exactly as you ask. Whether your pet is young, senior, or has special needs, I’ll treat them with patience, kindness, and the same level of care I give my own pets. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you know your pet is safe and happy while you’re away.
“Nancy was so great with our dogs while we were away. Her experience with her own senior dogs made her the perfect care taker for our 16-year-old pup and five -year old pup. She treated them just like they were her own. We plan to book with her again.”

“This is the first time we have used Rover so we were a bit apprehensive. It was great to be able to do a meet-and-greet with Luke, who put us at ease, and felt comfortable with leaving Ryu with him for 6 days. The experience went well and Luke was easy to communicate with while we were out of town. Would not hesitate to use Rover, and specifically Luke again, in the future.”

“First time using Rover and I felt comfortable immediately after getting to Shelly's to drop off our old guy. Picking him up, it was obvious that he was comfortable and loved while there. It was such a great experience!”

“Hari and her husband took great care of our goldendoodle! We received multiple pictures and updates daily, and they were very accommodating and easy to work with when our flight was delayed and we had to rebook on a flight that got us back the following morning. They have a nice, clean house, fenced in backyard, and a sweet goldendoodle plus other dogs they were watching for some good playtime, exercise, and socializing. Communication was great, and we would absolutely use them again!”

“Carly took excellent care of Titus and we appreciate her attention to detail and communication. Titus can be difficult for some sitters being a big dog with quirks so we are grateful to find a sitter who is able to provide quality care. Will definitely book her again!”

“Can’t speak highly enough about this sitter! Ruby was in heaven playing ball and part of the whole family’s activities. Lots of communication and very flexible with my schedule. Definitely will be using again when I’m back in town!”

“Elizabeth gave great care to my two dogs. They were very happy there. It was such a good experience. So much better than putting them in a kennel. She walked them twice a day and gave them love and attention. I will definitely board my dogs here again.”

About: I've had pets my whole life, and love all kinds! Through the years, I've had cats and dogs, birds, ferrets, hamsters, rabbits, mice, and hermit crabs as personal pets. I currently have a 10-year-old Bichon Frise, a two-year-old rabbit, and a one-year-old cat. My sweet Siren (cat) passed away last year just shy of her 22nd birthday. I'm available to help other people out by providing a loving, friendly face to walk or visit your pet, or to watch them in our home when you need. I provide gentle care that is tailored to each pet. Some pets need a quiet and calm presence, others want to expend energy and play. I adapt to the needs of the pet so every pet can feel comfortable! I'm a teacher currently on summer break! I have two kids at home, a teenage son and an elementary-age daughter, and if your pet comes to stay with us then he or she can expect plenty of love, pets, and cuddles and as much play as they want! When I come to your home, I make sure your pet has plenty of food and fresh water, as well as clean bedding. I spend time playing, petting, brushing, and/or walking your pet, whatever you and they would like. In our home, we have a fenced-in backyard and a friendly Bichon Frise who loves other dogs and cats. Let me know if your pet requires medication administration or any special instructions, any I am able to accommodate that.
“My puppy, Fancy, was very well taken care of. I’m so happy to have found Courtney, and Rover. I will never board again. Fancy was with a family, getting 24/7 care and love. I was given updates and funny stories about my wild girl. Such a great experience!!!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Spring Hill
I would leave Tony any day with Jessica. We had a wonderful experience with Jessica! She was so kind and updated me often on what Tony was doing everyday. Tony has difficulty eating on his own and also he barks whenever he hears any sounds. I'm so happy that she worked with him and addressed them really well to train Tony to not do those. I don't know how many sitters does this but I really felt Jessica took care of our Tony really well and I'm grateful that she took care of Tony.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
