“This was our first time using Rover and leaving our 2.5 year old lab-mix with someone who was not family. Initially, we were a little skeptical of the process as I’m a bit of a helicopter dog mom, so I wanted to ensure our pup was going to a place where he/we felt safe and would follow our daily routine, but we greatly appreciated Brittney and Adam. Brittney and Adam encouraged a meet and greet before our pup’s stay at their home. Jax (our dog) was able to meet their doggos as well as for us to get a feel of who we would be entrusting his care even for a short weekend. They were very transparent about what to expect and seemed to have the process down-pat! While we were away, they were quick to respond to the questions we had and sent multiple photos during the day. Jax can get a little somber when we’re away, but they kept us in the loop when he wouldn’t eat his meal and anything else that came up. We loved receiving photos, it was what we most looked forward to and although he had a minimal appetite, he looked very happy and smiley getting to run around with their pups. We felt very comfortable using Brittney and Adam and would recommend to any other nervous Nelly fur-parents! :)”

She has a plethora of fun friends that he could play and cuddle with. I only had to bring Ham and his food as she took care of the rest; she ate even wrestled him in his carrier so all I had to do at pick up was scoop him into the car. She’s my go to now for sure!”

About: Hello, How it all began. I grew up in a rural setting with multiple dogs, indoor and outdoor cats and for a few years chickens. One specific dog named Maxine was a beautiful intelligent, gentle Doberman that stole my heart. The bond I shared with her was special and she was my best friend. I knew from a young age I wanted to take care of animals. Fast forward, I'm a parent to 3 active kids, 2 sleepy cats, and 2 dogs (Pablo & Van). Over the past 10 years we've had a guinea pig, dwarf frogs, a hamster, and a Betta fish as well. A few years ago our family fostered 11 sweet dogs and 2 kittens. We have done in home care for a friends pup when they went out of town. My oldest daughter and I volunteered at the Lawrence Humane Society in the past for a year. Our big family of animal lovers would love to care for your pet. I work from home each week. This gives me ample availability to care for your pet. My husband is also available multiple days a week and our two high schoolers are usually home in the evenings each day to give extra snuggles to your pet. We have a fenced in backyard. The back fence wall is a 6ft privacy fence, the side fences are chain link. They will have access to the backyard at any time.
