About: It all started with my childhood dog Maxine that broke the mold and created my love for animals. We are a big pet loving family that enjoys all animals big and small. Our backyard is entirely fenced in and the back fence line is 6+ feet high and the sides are chain link. It's about 1/3 of an acre in size. We also have a small sized dog run for those that need or prefer less space. It's a great place for dogs to explore and have the zoomies. We want to provide the best service we can. We will respond to your messages promptly, will send photos each day. We're flexible with picku-up and drop-off schedules. In the past oldest daughter and I volunteered at the Lawrence Humane Society for a year. Our family has fostered over 13+ animals in the past. We've had the pleasure of caring for everything from dwarf frogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, Madagascar cockroaches, fish, and of course our favorite cats and dogs. Our big family of animal lovers would love to care for your pet. I work from home each week. This gives me ample availability to care for your pet. My husband is also available multiple days a week and our two high schoolers are usually home in the evenings each day to give extra snuggles to your pet. We have a fenced in backyard and an additional small dog run for smaller dogs. We can feed your pet in a separate room if needed.

About: I am new to Rover & this area, however I am not new to this field! I have been in the veterinary field since I was 14 years old. I started with kennels and caring for the animals and then moved up to veterinary technician. I am still currently employed as a virtual technician/receptionist. About: I've had pets my whole life, and love all kinds! Through the years, I've had cats and dogs, birds, ferrets, hamsters, rabbits, mice, and hermit crabs as personal pets. I currently have a 10-year-old Bichon Frise, a two-year-old rabbit, and a one-year-old cat. My sweet Siren (cat) passed away last year just shy of her 22nd birthday. I'm available to help other people out by providing a loving, friendly face to walk or visit your pet, or to watch them in our home when you need. I provide gentle care that is tailored to each pet. Some pets need a quiet and calm presence, others want to expend energy and play. I adapt to the needs of the pet so every pet can feel comfortable! I'm a teacher currently on summer break! I have two kids at home, a teenage son and an elementary-age daughter, and if your pet comes to stay with us then he or she can expect plenty of love, pets, and cuddles and as much play as they want! When I come to your home, I make sure your pet has plenty of food and fresh water, as well as clean bedding. I spend time playing, petting, brushing, and/or walking your pet, whatever you and they would like. In our home, we have a fenced-in backyard and a friendly Bichon Frise who loves other dogs and cats. Let me know if your pet requires medication administration or any special instructions, any I am able to accommodate that.

During the day, I take her for walks approximately three or four times, each outing lasting between 30 minutes and an hour, depending on the weather and her energy level. I feed her twice a day, and after each walk, I always wipe her paws with wet wipes to keep her clean and comfortable. In my apartment, she has complete freedom: she can go out onto the balcony, climb onto the couch, or climb onto the bed, since we spend practically the entire day together. We play a lot with her toys, have fun, and, of course, she never goes without cuddles so she can relax and rest well. Her well-being and happiness are the most important thing to me.
