About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for many years and currently care for my own dogs, bird, and aquariums every day. Friends and family have trusted me to help care for their pets while they’re away. My background in healthcare has taught me to be dependable, detail-oriented, and calm in unexpected situations. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I’ll treat your pet with the same patience, kindness, and attention that I give my own. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I currently have a flexible schedule and will keep my Rover calendar updated so it always reflects my availability. I make pet care a priority and enjoy spending quality time with animals through walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. I understand how important consistency is for pets and will follow your instructions and routines to help them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I know every pet is different because I’ve experienced that with my own dogs. One of my dogs has epilepsy and takes medication on a strict schedule, so I understand how important routines, careful observation, and clear communication are. I have a fenced backyard and will follow your pet’s feeding, medication, exercise, and care instructions exactly as you ask. Whether your pet is young, senior, or has special needs, I’ll treat them with patience, kindness, and the same level of care I give my own pets. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you know your pet is safe and happy while you’re away.

About: Hello! **Repeat Clients get specialized Discount** I am an avid animal lover. I got my first pet when I was 3 years old. It was a kitten named Nicky. He taught me a lot of responsibility and showed me a lot of love. A few years later my my mom added several dogs to the family - miniature Schnauzers, Standard Schnauzer, and a Beagle mix Having these animals in my life has given me great experience and also taught me unconditional love. My previous dog helped me get through the rough days when I lost my mom to cancer. I have learned to care for seniors, animals requiring medication (orally) and how to work with young animals especially puppies. In your employ my top priority will be your pets happiness. Working for you is my only employment and my focus will be on your dog or cat only. They will get my undivided attention and I hope to spoil them like crazy. Since I have dealt with several puppies I can even try to bring some training tips to your dog if needed. Personally, I do still have my pup Julius but he lives with family out in the country loving his best life in open fields He is 12 now, He is my furry angel in he was my little protector. It is so true that not all angels have wings. I would have kept him but I could not afford all of the vet bills when you take care of a pet properly, luckily I have a family member I love so much that was able to provide that. I love spoiling dogs of course with the doggy parental guidelines, this includes specific food regiments and pills. I hope that I will get to meet you and your fur babies soon! I have a very go with the flow attitude, I make any animal I care for #1. I dont work full time, so time for pet care is very important to me. Whatever routine the family has I stick to for consistency. I do have other activities I do but they are always scheduled around my work as a pet care provider. 🙂 In my home I create a safe environment. I'm very aware of other animals around to keep your dogs safety number one priority. Unfortunately in this world people at their dogs off leash and that can be a problem. I have no problem following any regimented food or medication delivered to the animals. Also if I'm in a client's home I would treat it with respect and basically make it look like nothing has changed except your dog has gotten top-notch care. If there's anything specific in the requiring overnight boarding I am more than happy to oblige with that.

About: My wife and I have cared for pets our whole lives—dogs, cats, chickens, birds, and fish. Today we have two happy dogs of our own, and we often look after family and friends’ pets. We're devoted to giving every four-legged friend the same love and care we give our own. I work from home, so I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My wife and I are available seven days a week to keep your pup happy and comfortable. My wife and I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can play safely. Our two dogs are on a regular schedule for feeding, potty breaks, and walks, and we’ll give the same care and consistency to yours. We can crate if needed and block off stairs for older dogs to prevent accidents. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always a top priority.

About: Hello, How it all began. I grew up in a rural setting with multiple dogs, indoor and outdoor cats and for a few years chickens. One specific dog named Maxine was a beautiful intelligent, gentle Doberman that stole my heart. The bond I shared with her was special and she was my best friend. I knew from a young age I wanted to take care of animals. Fast forward, I'm a parent to 3 active kids, 2 sleepy cats, and 2 dogs (Pablo & Van). Over the past 10 years we've had a guinea pig, dwarf frogs, a hamster, and a Betta fish as well. A few years ago our family fostered 11 sweet dogs and 2 kittens. We have done in home care for a friends pup when they went out of town. My oldest daughter and I volunteered at the Lawrence Humane Society in the past for a year. Our big family of animal lovers would love to care for your pet. I work from home each week. This gives me ample availability to care for your pet. My husband is also available multiple days a week and our two high schoolers are usually home in the evenings each day to give extra snuggles to your pet. We have a fenced in backyard. The back fence wall is a 6ft privacy fence, the side fences are chain link. They will have access to the backyard at any time.

About: I am new to Rover & this area, however I am not new to this field! The reviews you will find on my page are from clients where I just moved from! I have been in the veterinary field since I was 14 years old. I started with kennels and caring for the animals and then moved up to veterinary technician. I am still currently employed as a virtual technician/receptionist. I have experience with all animals large and small! I have lots of references I would love to share with you! About: I've had pets my whole life, and love all kinds! Through the years, I've had cats and dogs, birds, ferrets, hamsters, rabbits, mice, and hermit crabs as personal pets. I currently have a 10-year-old Bichon Frise, a two-year-old rabbit, and a one-year-old cat. My sweet Siren (cat) passed away last year just shy of her 22nd birthday. I'm available to help other people out by providing a loving, friendly face to walk or visit your pet, or to watch them in our home when you need. I provide gentle care that is tailored to each pet. Some pets need a quiet and calm presence, others want to expend energy and play. I adapt to the needs of the pet so every pet can feel comfortable! I'm a teacher currently on summer break! I have two kids at home, a teenage son and an elementary-age daughter, and if your pet comes to stay with us then he or she can expect plenty of love, pets, and cuddles and as much play as they want! When I come to your home, I make sure your pet has plenty of food and fresh water, as well as clean bedding. I spend time playing, petting, brushing, and/or walking your pet, whatever you and they would like. In our home, we have a fenced-in backyard and a friendly Bichon Frise who loves other dogs and cats. Let me know if your pet requires medication administration or any special instructions, any I am able to accommodate that.

About: I've always been passionate about animals. From a young age, I've volunteered my time at animal shelters and walking/taking care of my friend's and family's dogs & cats. I am knowledgeable on training habits & exercises as well. I had a Maltese for 16 years, and currently have a 4 year old Morkie and 3 year old rescue Lab/Hound. About: I grew up on a farm with, cats, dogs, chickens, goats, ducks, geese. rabbits, horses, cattle, and a variety of household pets. I was a veterinary technician for 20 years. Being in the veterinary field, I saw many household pets suffer separation anxiety being left at the clinic to board and also saw pets get sick after boarding due to being out of their home environment, which is how TLC Equine & Pet Care got started. I am currently 100% self-employed and can fit any schedule to work with the needs of your pet's health and safety. I also provide mail and package pickup, set trash out to the curb, water plants. Make your home look lived in while you are away. I do care for dogs in my home, it is a very relaxed environment. I live in the country and do not have a fenced in yard. They are walked on leashes and completely safe. Playpens also provided upon request for playtime outside.

I offer virtual/online sessions, mostly during the day, but in some special cases I will see clients outside of those times as well, if they local. I currently do not offer any services inside my home or any over night stays at this time, but I may be able to offer visiting clients homes for special cases.
