We will love on your pup like it was our own! I work from home throughout the week. My schedule allows me to be available to give your pet attention and frequent potty breaks throughout the day. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly fur babies that play really well with other dogs. I have a crate available if needed and a dog bed so that your pup is comfortable.

About: My wife and I have cared for pets our whole lives—dogs, cats, chickens, birds, and fish. Today we have two happy dogs of our own, and we often look after family and friends’ pets. We're devoted to giving every four-legged friend the same love and care we give our own. I work from home, so I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My wife and I are available seven days a week to keep your pup happy and comfortable. My wife and I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can play safely. Our two dogs are on a regular schedule for feeding, potty breaks, and walks, and we’ll give the same care and consistency to yours. We can crate if needed and block off stairs for older dogs to prevent accidents. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always a top priority.

About: About 50 years ago when I was 12 years old, I met a scruffy dog while I was out playing. It was immediate Love. I led the dog home and proceeded to beg my parents if I could keep the dog. Unfortunately, they said no and they didn't even want it in the house. That night it rained and I stayed out there with the dog while we took harbor under the back deck stairs. I named him Pal. The next day, a friend down the street was allowed to take Pal into their family and he stayed with him until he went to heaven. Pal played a very important role in my life. I realized my passion for animals. Also after that, my family began to appreciate animals becoming a part of our family. Years later after I purchased my own home, I came across another homeless dog. I took him in and with my vet, we nursed him back to health. From that point on, I always had at least 3 dogs in my home and usually a cat too. I have cared for many animals from family members, friends and coworker. In hindsight, I have cared for more than 30 animals in my life. In the last 25 years, I have worked as an in-home provider for children. I was also the primary family caregiver for my mother when she returned home from the assisted living facility after she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and needed to be brought home before her passing. I was also primary family caregiver for my father when he moved in with me and my daughter due to complications with diabetes and dementia before his passing. I am divorced and live alone, I am home 95% of the time and I rarely travel. I am available everyday of the week throughout summer because I have to be here for my child care and my animals. I have been doing in-home childcare/preschool for 25+ years. Due to my passion for dogs, I have joined Rover to provide care and boarding for dogs. The family room is now mostly dedicated for the dogs. The floor is padded, they can get on the 3 couches and chairs and there are several beds on the floor for their comfort. They have access to see out the back windows and out the back doorway. I have a large backyard that has been divided with a fence. There is the small yard dedicated for the children and a much larger area for the dogs. It is large enough for running and throwing balls - The back fence in both areas is open enough for the dogs to see and chase the school kids and trucks as they go by. My dogs favor the fire trucks and emergency vehicles that go by which is pretty often since the station is right down the street. They will usually stand out at the fence howling with the alarms as those vehicles go by. I scoop daily and I have the yard sprayed regularly for fleas, ticks and mosquitoes.

About: I've had pets my whole life, and love all kinds! Through the years, I've had cats and dogs, birds, ferrets, hamsters, rabbits, mice, and hermit crabs as personal pets. I currently have a 10-year-old Bichon Frise, a two-year-old rabbit, and a one-year-old cat. My sweet Siren (cat) passed away last year just shy of her 22nd birthday. I'm available to help other people out by providing a loving, friendly face to walk or visit your pet, or to watch them in our home when you need. I provide gentle care that is tailored to each pet. Some pets need a quiet and calm presence, others want to expend energy and play. I adapt to the needs of the pet so every pet can feel comfortable! I'm a teacher currently on summer break! I have two kids at home, a teenage son and an elementary-age daughter, and if your pet comes to stay with us then he or she can expect plenty of love, pets, and cuddles and as much play as they want! When I come to your home, I make sure your pet has plenty of food and fresh water, as well as clean bedding. I spend time playing, petting, brushing, and/or walking your pet, whatever you and they would like. In our home, we have a fenced-in backyard and a friendly Bichon Frise who loves other dogs and cats. He taught me a lot of responsibility and showed me a lot of love. A few years later my my mom added several dogs to the family - miniature Schnauzers, Standard Schnauzer, and a Beagle mix Having these animals in my life has given me great experience and also taught me unconditional love. My previous dog helped me get through the rough days when I lost my mom to cancer. I have learned to care for seniors, animals requiring medication (orally) and how to work with young animals especially puppies. In your employ my top priority will be your pets happiness. Working for you is my only employment and my focus will be on your dog or cat only. They will get my undivided attention and I hope to spoil them like crazy. Since I have dealt with several puppies I can even try to bring some training tips to your dog if needed. Personally, I do still have my pup Julius but he lives with family out in the country loving his best life in open fields He is 12 now, He is my furry angel in he was my little protector. It is so true that not all angels have wings. I would have kept him but I could not afford all of the vet bills when you take care of a pet properly, luckily I have a family member I love so much that was able to provide that. I love spoiling dogs of course with the doggy parental guidelines, this includes specific food regiments and pills. I hope that I will get to meet you and your fur babies soon! I have a very go with the flow attitude, I make any animal I care for #1. I dont work full time, so time for pet care is very important to me. Whatever routine the family has I stick to for consistency. I do have other activities I do but they are always scheduled around my work as a pet care provider. 🙂 In my home I create a safe environment. I'm very aware of other animals around to keep your dogs safety number one priority. Unfortunately in this world people at their dogs off leash and that can be a problem. I have no problem following any regimented food or medication delivered to the animals. Also if I'm in a client's home I would treat it with respect and basically make it look like nothing has changed except your dog has gotten top-notch care. If there's anything specific in the requiring overnight boarding I am more than happy to oblige with that.

“Jamie was prompt in her response to my initial inquiry and we were able to set up a meet and greet right away. Her home is lovely, clean, and has a fenced in backyard. She spoke so highly of my puppy and it really made me feel like she cared about her. She spent time training her every day and adhered to the schedule I provided for structure. She set up play dates to socialize my puppy as she doesn’t have any pets in her home. She went above and beyond training on concepts I hadn’t introduced to my puppy yet. She was thorough in our initial meet and even recapped with me at the end of the week. Her daily recaps shared so much info about my puppies day and I loved hearing about everything they did together and how much she enjoyed her time with my puppy. Jamie is a stellar caregiver, accommodating of my schedule, loving towards my puppy, and great with communication.”

About: Hello, How it all began. I grew up in a rural setting with multiple dogs, indoor and outdoor cats and for a few years chickens. One specific dog named Maxine was a beautiful intelligent, gentle Doberman that stole my heart. The bond I shared with her was special and she was my best friend. I knew from a young age I wanted to take care of animals. Fast forward, I'm a parent to 3 active kids, 2 sleepy cats, and 2 dogs (Pablo & Van). Over the past 10 years we've had a guinea pig, dwarf frogs, a hamster, and a Betta fish as well. A few years ago our family fostered 11 sweet dogs and 2 kittens. We have done in home care for a friends pup when they went out of town. My oldest daughter and I volunteered at the Lawrence Humane Society in the past for a year. Our big family of animal lovers would love to care for your pet. I work from home each week. This gives me ample availability to care for your pet. My husband is also available multiple days a week and our two high schoolers are usually home in the evenings each day to give extra snuggles to your pet. We have a fenced in backyard. The back fence wall is a 6ft privacy fence, the side fences are chain link. They will have access to the backyard at any time.

About: I grew up taking care of dogs and cats. My family always had either a dog or cats or both. I’ve always loved taking care of them and loving on them. I work from home on weekdays so I’m always around, and my husband is home at night and on weekends. Our home is dog friendly and revolves around our dog, Millie. There are dog toys in every room, treats in the cupboards, and all furniture is dog approved and appreciated. I’m self employed and I work from home, so I’m able to give your pets lots of attention and care. They will get plenty of potty breaks, time outside, and walks around the neighborhood and to the park. We have a fenced in yard that has plenty of room to run and play in and windows for people watching and neighborhood patrolling. We also have a friendly dog who loves to play and meet new people. Your pets will be watched closely and loved on thoroughly!
