About: My wife and I have cared for pets our whole lives—dogs, cats, chickens, birds, and fish. Today we have two happy dogs of our own, and we often look after family and friends’ pets. We're devoted to giving every four-legged friend the same love and care we give our own. I work from home, so I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My wife and I are available seven days a week to keep your pup happy and comfortable. My wife and I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can play safely. Our two dogs are on a regular schedule for feeding, potty breaks, and walks, and we’ll give the same care and consistency to yours. We can crate if needed and block off stairs for older dogs to prevent accidents. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always a top priority.

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for many years and currently care for my own dogs, bird, and aquariums every day. Friends and family have trusted me to help care for their pets while they’re away. My background in healthcare has taught me to be dependable, detail-oriented, and calm in unexpected situations. I know every pet is different because I’ve experienced that with my own dogs. One of my dogs has epilepsy and takes medication on a strict schedule, so I understand how important routines, careful observation, and clear communication are. I have a fenced backyard and will follow your pet’s feeding, medication, exercise, and care instructions exactly as you ask. Whether your pet is young, senior, or has special needs, I’ll treat them with patience, kindness, and the same level of care I give my own pets. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you know your pet is safe and happy while you’re away.

About: I grew up on a farm with, cats, dogs, chickens, goats, ducks, geese. rabbits, horses, cattle, and a variety of household pets. I was a veterinary technician for 20 years. Being in the veterinary field, I saw many household pets suffer separation anxiety being left at the clinic to board and also saw pets get sick after boarding due to being out of their home environment, which is how TLC Equine & Pet Care got started. I am currently 100% self-employed and can fit any schedule to work with the needs of your pet's health and safety. I also provide mail and package pickup, set trash out to the curb, water plants. Make your home look lived in while you are away. I do care for dogs in my home, it is a very relaxed environment. I live in the country and do not have a fenced in yard. They are walked on leashes and completely safe. Playpens also provided upon request for playtime outside.

About: Hello! **Repeat Clients get specialized Discount** I am an avid animal lover. I got my first pet when I was 3 years old. It was a kitten named Nicky. He taught me a lot of responsibility and showed me a lot of love. A few years later my my mom added several dogs to the family - miniature Schnauzers, Standard Schnauzer, and a Beagle mix Having these animals in my life has given me great experience and also taught me unconditional love. My previous dog helped me get through the rough days when I lost my mom to cancer. I have learned to care for seniors, animals requiring medication (orally) and how to work with young animals especially puppies. In your employ my top priority will be your pets happiness. Working for you is my only employment and my focus will be on your dog or cat only. They will get my undivided attention and I hope to spoil them like crazy. Since I have dealt with several puppies I can even try to bring some training tips to your dog if needed. Personally, I do still have my pup Julius but he lives with family out in the country loving his best life in open fields He is 12 now, He is my furry angel in he was my little protector. It is so true that not all angels have wings. I would have kept him but I could not afford all of the vet bills when you take care of a pet properly, luckily I have a family member I love so much that was able to provide that. I love spoiling dogs of course with the doggy parental guidelines, this includes specific food regiments and pills. I hope that I will get to meet you and your fur babies soon! I have a very go with the flow attitude, I make any animal I care for #1. I dont work full time, so time for pet care is very important to me. Whatever routine the family has I stick to for consistency. I do have other activities I do but they are always scheduled around my work as a pet care provider. 🙂 In my home I create a safe environment. I'm very aware of other animals around to keep your dogs safety number one priority. Unfortunately in this world people at their dogs off leash and that can be a problem. I have no problem following any regimented food or medication delivered to the animals. Also if I'm in a client's home I would treat it with respect and basically make it look like nothing has changed except your dog has gotten top-notch care. If there's anything specific in the requiring overnight boarding I am more than happy to oblige with that.

About: I sat regularly through my college years, so this isn't new to me, I'm just picking Rover back up now that my child is older, and I have the house and yard for it! Since then I've raised Jobi, my black Lab, from puppyhood, I'm well practiced in crate routines, house-training accidents, chewing phases, and the general chaos of a young dog who has more energy than sense. What sets me apart is mostly availability. I work from home, so your dog isn't waiting out a nine-hour day alone. The yard is large and fully fenced, we walk daily, and dogs stay with me in the main living space instead of being shut away. I'll follow your instructions exactly, feeding schedule, medications, commands your dog already knows, the crate if that's what they're used to. And I'll send photos throughout, so you always know how they're settling in! I work from home, so your dog has company throughout the day rather than long stretches alone. We'll head out for a walk once a day, and beyond that they're free to come and go into the fenced yard as often as they want. I'm happy to work around your dog's existing feeding and potty schedule so their routine stays consistent. My yard is large and fully fenced, so there's real room to run without any worry about escapes. Dogs stay with me in the main living space rather than shut away in a separate room, and I'm home to supervise. Jobi, my young black Lab, is friendly with visiting dogs, and I have a young child at home, so I'm looking for dogs who are comfortable with other dogs and gentle around kids. I'll follow whatever routine and instructions you send along, including any medications, and I'll keep you updated with photos throughout the stay.

About: Hello, How it all began. I grew up in a rural setting with multiple dogs, indoor and outdoor cats and for a few years chickens. One specific dog named Maxine was a beautiful intelligent, gentle Doberman that stole my heart. The bond I shared with her was special and she was my best friend. I knew from a young age I wanted to take care of animals. Fast forward, I'm a parent to 3 active kids, 2 sleepy cats, and 2 dogs (Pablo & Van). Over the past 10 years we've had a guinea pig, dwarf frogs, a hamster, and a Betta fish as well. A few years ago our family fostered 11 sweet dogs and 2 kittens. We have done in home care for a friends pup when they went out of town. My oldest daughter and I volunteered at the Lawrence Humane Society in the past for a year. Our big family of animal lovers would love to care for your pet. I work from home each week. This gives me ample availability to care for your pet. My husband is also available multiple days a week and our two high schoolers are usually home in the evenings each day to give extra snuggles to your pet. We have a fenced in backyard. The back fence wall is a 6ft privacy fence, the side fences are chain link. They will have access to the backyard at any time.

At your request, I can work on basic obedience or trick training (such as sit, down, stay, spin, bow, and paw). Positive reinforcement is my mantra all the way—NO choke chains, slip leads, or shock collars 😃. I have trained my own dog several party tricks through a reward-based system. See a photo of me working with my little pup to progress him to a handstand. Please note that I have some dog allergies; little to no shedding is strongly preferred. A meet-and-greet is required to prioritize the dog’s safety and health. Vaccinations, along with flea, tick, and heartworm medications, are mandatory. As a Rover newbie with a tentative work schedule, I am happy to build up to more periodic care for your fur baby. We can start with a trial day and then advance to a couple of days before launching into a more frequent schedule. I can accommodate special requests. If you want regular updates, photos, or videos, that is no problem. Just let me know what you require 😊. The health, safety, and wellbeing of your pup is my number one priority! As a pet parent myself who has also relied on Rover, I know how stressful it can be to put your complete trust in a stranger. I am committed to frequently monitoring your fur baby while they are under my care. This can range from putting on a leash indoors to using a play pen or moving any major objects out of reach. About: I've been caring for pets since I was ten years old, and I've had my own pets for as long as I can remember. I have experience in pet sitting and walking both large and small dogs, as well as cats. Throughout my life, I've owned turtles, hamsters, lizards, and numerous dogs. Currently, I have three standard poodles and a Sphinx kitten. I would be delighted to help you with any of your pet care needs! I'm a college student with a lighter course load, and my favorite way to spend my extra time is with animals! So, my availability is very open currently As a pet care provider, my approach is modified to the specific needs of each pet and client. In my own home or the client's home, I prioritize the well-being and comfort of the animals under my care. This includes providing regular feeding and watering, administering any necessary medications, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. I have been in the veterinary field since I was 14 years old. I started with kennels and caring for the animals and then moved up to veterinary technician.
