When I first met Katie She made a list of all the things everyday that needed to be done while I was gone. Katie visited my home twice a day and always gave me the details of what was done while she was there. She took pics and sent them to me every day and kept me very updated on everything that was going on. She sat with them for 30 minutes on each visit twice a day. She brought in the mail, opened and closed blinds, turned lights on and off. She changed a burnt out light bulb on the outside of the house for me. I'm very please with how well She took care of my fur babies. I would DEFINITELY use Katie's pet sitting service again in the future. It is so true that not all angels have wings. I'm happy to work around your dog's existing feeding and potty schedule so their routine stays consistent. My yard is large and fully fenced, so there's real room to run without any worry about escapes. At your request, I can work on basic obedience or trick training (such as sit, down, stay, spin, bow, and paw). Positive reinforcement is my mantra all the way—NO choke chains, slip leads, or shock collars 😃. I have trained my own dog several party tricks through a reward-based system. Growing up, my family had six dogs, mostly large breeds, along with a couple of smaller dogs so I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I currently have two Black Labs, ages 3 and 5, who keep me active and remind me every day how important exercise, attention, and love are for a dog’s well-being. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I’m committed to providing safe, reliable, and compassionate care. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved!!! “Chandra is great with my crazy dog, who apparently is not crazy with Chandra. She is on time and great to work with. Even with last minute walks. The biggest thing is that my dog didn’t bark at Chandra at all when I opened the door. My dog barks at everyone but not Chandra. I think that in itself deserves an A+. We wouldn’t consider going with anyone else.”

It is so true that not all angels have wings. I have no problem following any regimented food or medication delivered to the animals. Also if I'm in a client's home I would treat it with respect and basically make it look like nothing has changed except your dog has gotten top-notch care. If there's anything specific in the requiring overnight boarding I am more than happy to oblige with that.

I have also volunteered at an animal shelter where I walked high energy dogs. I love taking care of and being around dogs and have watched family dogs for years. I am available all day Tuesday and Thursday as well as Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings. I definitely prefer walking your pups in morning or evenings to avoid the hot pavement. I do not offer dog sitting. For dog walking I am familiar and comfortable with walking high energy or reactive dogs as long as that is communicated. I also know the signs of heat stroke, aggression, and bloat due to my time working in a doggy daycare. If you choose to trust me to car for your pet, their safety will always be my top priority.

About: Hello, How it all began. I grew up in a rural setting with multiple dogs, indoor and outdoor cats and for a few years chickens. One specific dog named Maxine was a beautiful intelligent, gentle Doberman that stole my heart. The bond I shared with her was special and she was my best friend. I knew from a young age I wanted to take care of animals. Fast forward, I'm a parent to 3 active kids, 2 sleepy cats, and 2 dogs (Pablo & Van). Over the past 10 years we've had a guinea pig, dwarf frogs, a hamster, and a Betta fish as well. A few years ago our family fostered 11 sweet dogs and 2 kittens. We have done in home care for a friends pup when they went out of town. My oldest daughter and I volunteered at the Lawrence Humane Society in the past for a year. Our big family of animal lovers would love to care for your pet. I work from home each week. This gives me ample availability to care for your pet. My husband is also available multiple days a week and our two high schoolers are usually home in the evenings each day to give extra snuggles to your pet. We have a fenced in backyard. The back fence wall is a 6ft privacy fence, the side fences are chain link. They will have access to the backyard at any time.
