About: I became a foster parent for GPSCA at the end of 2020 after adopting my bubbi with them during the summer. I took care of a mom and 3 puppies as my first assignment, all were adopted! <3 A few months after that, I fostered an older dog who had recently had surgery, who also got adopted after a couple of months with me. I love playing with dogs and getting to know all of their different personalities. My bubbi is an old man who loves to just snuggle and play catch with you. He's all about those TREATS too. Recently promoted to a hybrid job, 3 days in person, Mon-Weds. Unlike before where I was WFH. This would take me away for about 8-9 hours on those days. I know it can be scary for a pet to meet someone new. I like to make any dog I'm pet-sitting feel comfortable in its own environment. Whether that means I just sit there until they are comfy with me or abiding my their normal routine, I don't want them to feel out of place.

About: My pet care experience began when I was a young child. My parents have always had at least five pets that I helped train and take care of while growing up. After we moved to a farm, they adopted more pets (dogs, cats, chickens, etc.); which allowed me to have more responsibilities and experiences taking care of animals. In college, I adopted my dog and had her for over 13 years. Sadly, she passed from old age and I have not adopted another pet since. I currently have a full-time job, but it does not involve animals. About: I have had dogs my whole life. I also worked for 2 yrs at a in home boarding facility. I have done pet sitting for family and friends while they are gone on holiday. I love animals specially dogs. I currently have 3 senior babies myself I currently am not working so home most days unless running errands (which usually are every other Friday in mornings) The only time not home is Tuesday mornings and Thursday's all day. That will change on May 22 when I will no longer be taking care of my grandson I have a 6ft fence all the way around my yard. I have 3 senior dogs who are very chilled. When the first meet a new friend they do the sniff test then usually go do their thing. One of my seniors is a lab who still thinks he is a puppy and likes to play but has bad hips. On nice days I keep my back door open and they are free to go in and out when then like. I have a deck that is shaded either by trees or umbrellas. I also do Doggie spa day on my babies which includes brushing, cleaning ears, teeth and nails.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since I was a small child. I have had puppies and geriatric dogs. I know what they need to stay out of trouble, play, affection, excercise. I have a young dog myself and she loves to play so I have gotten pretty good at it. If you live in the Miami County area of KS, I can easily visit your pet if you have to be away. I can also give medicines or baths if need be. Your beloved pet will be as comfortable as I can make them. In this time which health and safety are primary concerns please know that I will practice CDC guidelines and aseptic hand Hygiene. I can even bring a leash with me for walks. If you will place treats, food or any necessities out where I can access them touch contact will be limited. I will sanitize before interacting with your pet and after leaving. Hopefully this will all be behind us soon.

About: I’ve have taken care of animals my whole life. Both of my parents are veterinarians! I’m able to give medications & care for many animals! I also recently worked as an apprentice at a dog training facility & can help with basic obedience. About: I have nearly 8 years of professional work experience with dogs and cats. I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I feel comfortable with all sizes of dogs but do prefer large and giants! I work at an Animal Shelter so I do have experience handling various breeds, ages, temperaments, etc. on a daily basis. I vaccinate, microchip, and sometimes help medicate the animals at the shelter I work at. I have a “problem” child of my own so I know how to work with stress/anxiety, on leash reactivity, and wariness of strangers in dogs. I’m patient and understand the stress that dogs/cats feel when their owners are gone. Most importantly I understand how hard it is to find a person to trust your pets with. I do have a full time job working at a shelter but I am available in the evenings for walks or care on my work days. Depending on the area of town, I am also available in the mornings before work to care and feed. My dog, Charlie is very reactive to dogs and new people. I practice safe management every day. I do the same for dogs that I care for.

A few years later my my mom added several dogs to the family - miniature Schnauzers, Standard Schnauzer, and a Beagle mix Having these animals in my life has given me great experience and also taught me unconditional love. My previous dog helped me get through the rough days when I lost my mom to cancer. I have learned to care for seniors, animals requiring medication (orally) and how to work with young animals especially puppies. In your employ my top priority will be your pets happiness. Working for you is my only employment and my focus will be on your dog or cat only. They will get my undivided attention and I hope to spoil them like crazy. Since I have dealt with several puppies I can even try to bring some training tips to your dog if needed. Personally, I do still have my pup Julius but he lives with family out in the country loving his best life in open fields He is 12 now, He is my furry angel in he was my little protector. It is so true that not all angels have wings. I would have kept him but I could not afford all of the vet bills when you take care of a pet properly, luckily I have a family member I love so much that was able to provide that. I love spoiling dogs of course with the doggy parental guidelines, this includes specific food regiments and pills. I hope that I will get to meet you and your fur babies soon! I have a very go with the flow attitude, I make any animal I care for #1. I dont work full time, so time for pet care is very important to me. Whatever routine the family has I stick to for consistency. I do have other activities I do but they are always scheduled around my work as a pet care provider. 🙂 In my home I create a safe environment. I'm very aware of other animals around to keep your dogs safety number one priority. Unfortunately in this world people at their dogs off leash and that can be a problem. I have no problem following any regimented food or medication delivered to the animals. Also if I'm in a client's home I would treat it with respect and basically make it look like nothing has changed except your dog has gotten top-notch care. If there's anything specific in the requiring overnight boarding I am more than happy to oblige with that.

About: I have always had such a love for dogs. I have two dogs at the moment but love to take care of my siblings pups when needed. They have a nice setup at their home so the pups have their own space on the lower level with everything they need including easy access to the fenced-in backyard. We received twice daily updates on Murphy during the week he was staying with them. They took him for walks, spoiled him with treats and gave him lots of attention (which he craves)! Because they work from home, it was comforting to know Murphy wouldn’t be left alone for extended periods of time as he can get anxious.
