“Billie gives such kind, loving care to Ginger. She makes adorably decorated little jars of home made treats for special holidays and is a wonderful caregiver to our senior dog. Her own dog is an easy going older fella himself, and they ignore each other companionable. 😄”
About: Ive been doing Rover now for almost 2 years and it has brought me so much joy and new friends! I worked a summer at kc zoo and it was the most fun job I have ever had. I've had dogs and cats my whole life. Also around horses from my uncle. I have adopted all of my animals from shelters. I love my dogs and cats like they are family. I have a teenage son I have to keep out of petco or any other animal place otherwise he wants to bring all the animals home, joking but not completely untrue. It's how we ended up with our Kitty Maisey. We even took care of the class's bearded dragon over spring break during Covid. He will come along on visits if available as he is the animal whisperer and wants to be a vet. Our 2 dogs are Dottie (our adopted covid pointer mix pup who is the sweetest girl and loves to have visitors to play with), and Marley who is our very sweet, laid back senior dog. Both our pups were rescues. Marley is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks so we sre familliar with giving medications and making dogs feel safe and comfortable. Dottie is allergic to something during the late summer and September month and takes medicine for that allergy at that time. We believe in treats but only rawhide free and dental bones. Please bring your own food and treats and let me know if you prefer not to share our treats. We also have 2 cats that are used to dogs and in fact think that each dog is their mommy since we got them as kittens and have an attachment to their respective dog mommy. You will even find cats and dogs snuggling together on the bed. Or Moose playing with Dottie in his tunnel. I have had animals with special needs from a diabetic cat that I gave insulin injections to treating animals with special needs. I live right down the street from a great dog park here in belton. We would love to take any new friends to visit. Please let me know if you prefer them not to go to the dog park and we can stay here and play. We have a fenced back yard but one side is only 4 ft. I work from home as a director so I have a very flexible schedule. My son does play competitive soccer so sometimes weekends have us at soccer field for about 2 hours. I have a fenced yard 3 sides are 6 foot privacy and one has a 4 foot chain link. I follow my client's care directions in their homes.
“This is the first time our golden retriever has stayed anywhere without us so we were a little nervous. I think Ellie had a a great time. She was happy and tired when she got home. She looked to be having fun in the pictures Katie sent. Katie and her husband were so friendly and welcoming I won’t hesitate to use them again.”

“Joy has watched rocket a few times now but this was the longest stay yet! I am so grateful that she was able to watch rocket and show her so much love. It is a lot easier leaving her knowing she is getting so much love and attention from Joy!”
“Griffin took fantastic care of our baby. She was so excited to hang out with them everyday and play. She has been so much more confident around other dogs and people since. Would recommend them to anyone!”

“Our dog Rubi loved Elaine! I messaged Elaine the day before we needed care for our dog and she was so prompt to respond and ready to help us. She took great care of Rubi and sent us a picture and updates. Her backyard is perfect for dogs to run and play in and her house is calming and quiet. We will deffinetly think of Elaine again if we need care for our dog.”

“Rosabel has helped me take care of my german short-hair pointer A very active dog and did very well with her on both times watching her all day while I worked. Both times where short notice and was very happy to help.”
About: My wife and I have cared for pets our whole lives—dogs, cats, chickens, birds, and fish. Today we have two happy dogs of our own, and we often look after family and friends’ pets. We're devoted to giving every four-legged friend the same love and care we give our own. I work from home, so I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My wife and I are available seven days a week to keep your pup happy and comfortable. My wife and I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can play safely. Our two dogs are on a regular schedule for feeding, potty breaks, and walks, and we’ll give the same care and consistency to yours. We can crate if needed and block off stairs for older dogs to prevent accidents. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always a top priority.
About: I sat regularly through my college years, so this isn't new to me, I'm just picking Rover back up now that my child is older, and I have the house and yard for it! Since then I've raised Jobi, my black Lab, from puppyhood, I'm well practiced in crate routines, house-training accidents, chewing phases, and the general chaos of a young dog who has more energy than sense. What sets me apart is mostly availability. I work from home, so your dog isn't waiting out a nine-hour day alone. The yard is large and fully fenced, we walk daily, and dogs stay with me in the main living space instead of being shut away. I'll follow your instructions exactly, feeding schedule, medications, commands your dog already knows, the crate if that's what they're used to. And I'll send photos throughout, so you always know how they're settling in! I work from home, so your dog has company throughout the day rather than long stretches alone. We'll head out for a walk once a day, and beyond that they're free to come and go into the fenced yard as often as they want. I'm happy to work around your dog's existing feeding and potty schedule so their routine stays consistent. My yard is large and fully fenced, so there's real room to run without any worry about escapes. Dogs stay with me in the main living space rather than shut away in a separate room, and I'm home to supervise. Jobi, my young black Lab, is friendly with visiting dogs, and I have a young child at home, so I'm looking for dogs who are comfortable with other dogs and gentle around kids. I'll follow whatever routine and instructions you send along, including any medications, and I'll keep you updated with photos throughout the stay.

About: Animals have always been a part of my life and have spent years caring for pets of all kinds for friends, family, and neighbors. Whether it’s a goofy pup, a cuddly cat, or an adventurous bunny, I truly enjoy their company and treat each one like my own! These days, I find just as much joy in quiet companionship as I do in outdoor play. I live in a spacious, pet-friendly home with plenty of room to roam, relax, and cuddle. Walks, belly rubs, or just hanging out—I’m here to give your pet the attention and care they deserve while you're away. I am now retired, which means I have plenty of time and attention to give to your pet! My days are calm and unhurried perfect for slow morning walks, mid-day play sessions, and quiet afternoons full of snuggles. I truly enjoy the companionship and love having a furry friend around to share the day with. Whether your pet needs lots of play or just a peaceful place to relax, they’ll have my full presence in a quiet, cozy environment. I live in a spacious home with both a front yard and a large backyard, perfect for supervised outdoor time. About: I've been training and taking care of dogs for 33 years. I had a couple childhood pets then when I was 18 I adopted and trained a dog that stayed with my family for 15 years. I also had a Labrador who made it to 13 and my current old man puppy is 13. I've been with my husband for 20 years. We LOVE dogs of all ages and sizes. I'm a stay at home mom to my geriatric dog. We get up around 6am, go outside for a bit, come in and get breakfast, then lounge while I clean. Lunchtime we go out again, have healthy snacks like carrots, then play in the fenced in yard or the living room depending on weather and temperature. Late afternoon and evening we wind down and get ready for dinner. I have a fenced in yard, a friendly old dog, tiled floors, comfortable furniture that they're allowed on, and air vents that come from the floors (dogs love to lay on them). There is security on my home and absolutely nobody but delivery people come here during the day.

About: 🚨 ATTENTION: 25LB MAX WEIGHT LIMIT - For the safety of our small dog clients we exclusively accept dogs/puppies that are 25lbs or under. 🚨 If your furbaby fits into our small-dog boutique size bracket, we would absolutely love to host them for a premium, customized vacation! ✨ After years of specialized transport with Mother Nature's Express, I am bringing that same USDA-certified level of safety and care to Mother Nature’s Boarding—a dedicated sanctuary for your furbabies. Professional Pedigree & Expert Care: I am not just a pet lover; I am a career animal professional with a decade of high-stakes experience. My background as a retired USDA-certified animal transporter means I have spent years safely navigating the logistics of animal behavior and safety across the country. I’ve handled animals of all temperaments and sizes, ensuring their health and security while traveling state-to-state and staying in pet-friendly luxury environments. Your furbaby's safety is my absolute priority. I am Red Cross Animal CPR certified, and my home is run with the precision and cleanliness of a professional facility, but with the heart of a dedicated stay-at-home parent. The Boutique Environment: Because I am home 24/7, your dog receives constant companionship and expert monitoring. My specialized setup includes: A dedicated "Guest Suite" located upstairs with me, completely separate from my personal pets to ensure a zero-stress transition. Safety-First Rotations: Utilizing my professional handling skills to manage pack dynamics, ensuring every guest feels like the "only" dog in the room. Expert Medical Oversight: Comfortable and experienced in administering medications and managing strict health protocols. A Lifetime of Devotion: My life has been defined by the bond between humans and animals. While I have over 12 years of adult experience managing my own multi-pet household—including dogs and cats—my journey actually began 25 years ago when I welcomed my first cat at age four, followed by a trio of small-breed dogs just two years later. I grew up learning the unique nuances of small-breed personalities, which is why I now specialize in providing a "big-dog-free" sanctuary for your little ones. As a career animal professional, pet care isn't just a part of my routine—it's the center of it. My schedule is designed to provide 24/7 supervision and companionship for my guest dogs. Because I am home full-time, I can maintain strict, consistent schedules for feeding, potty breaks, and medications that mimic your furbaby's home environment perfectly. My week is built around 'Restful Rotations.' While my mornings and evenings are for structured care, the daytime is filled with enrichment and one-on-one attention in our dedicated upstairs boutique area. This setup allows me to give your pet the high-touch care they deserve without the chaos of a traditional kennel. I care for every guest with the same expert precision I used as a USDA-certified animal transporter. My home's layout has been designed for maximum safety: all guest dogs enjoy the entire main/upstairs floor as their private 'boutique' sanctuary, completely separate from my personal pets who reside in their own personal basement suite while guests are here. Safety is my absolute priority. I utilize: Rotation-Based Exercise: I rotate my own dogs before guests enter the fully fenced backyard, ensuring a stress-free environment. The Double-Leash Rule: For front-yard strolls, I strictly follow the USDA safety standard of two points of contact (harness and collar) to ensure your pet is 100% secure at all times. Crated Security: To prevent nighttime scuffles and ensure a restful sleep, all guests sleep in their own individual, cozy crates with fresh water and orthopedic bedding. (The same protocol follows for feeding times to ensure absolute safety while eating) Medical Peace of Mind: Being certified in Animal CPR, I am highly experienced in monitoring health and administering specialized care.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Belton
Kourtney and her husband were the perfect first daycare for my puppy. Kourtney was attentive to all of my requests and my puppies schedule. She even spent time training Minnow during her lunch. She went above and beyond to teach her leash walking as well! I really appreciated the way they treated my puppy and how friendly they were to me. Kourtney was thorough with updates and report cards. We had a great experience.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
