“Great having Saige as my first sitter! We met at a Starbucks to do a meet and greet and I instantly felt comfortable. Scary bringing a stranger into your home these days, so I was thankful she was open to answering any questions and wanted me to feel comfortable. Days later, I then had Saige come to my home to meet my cat and see the space to ensure she would also be comfortable sitting at my home. She petsitted or pet sat(?) lol, for 4 days and there’s hardly a hint that she was ever here - meaning she left the place as she found it and didn’t leave a mess or anything. I don’t think my kitty ever got super used to having a stranger in her home but that’s not Saige’s fault. My kitty is just super shy and takes a while to warm up to strangers. I just asked that Saige respect her boundaries and space and I believe she did that! My kitty is almost 16 years old and I just really wanted that reassurance of having someone around more often than just bopping in for 15 mins a day - so I’m thankful for finding this service and the sitting going smoothly! About: As someone who has loved animals since they were born, I was always the person in the neighborhood who people asked to check on their pets. And even all these years later, that still hasn’t changed. As someone who has owned dogs my entire life, I understand how important finding the right person to pet set is, so I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’ve watched younger dogs who constantly want to play and have lots of energy to older dogs who just want to sleep all day. I also have experience dealing with dogs who have health issues, so don’t worry about pill time, I know all the tricks. As it’s summer now, I’m free pretty much always and would love to be able to watch your fur baby. Whether it’s just a walk around the block or a simple potty break, I promise to treat your pets like they were my own. I’m currently on summer break and don’t have a job so other then babysitting a few times a week and spending time with my family I’m all free. I already feed and look after my own pets, a sweet senior golden retriever and a silly 5 year old cat, so taking care of pets fits perfectly into my life. I have my own car that can easily fit most dogs into it, so drives to the park are an option. I’m also perfectly comfortable staying at a home for a few hours to make sure your pet doesn’t get lonely or doing just a quick check in, whatever you want. I love to personalize my care for the needs of each pet. If that means hanging out for a few hours watching tv with your pet, I’m totally down. Or if your pet would prefer a simple check in and likes to be left alone, I’m more than happy to do that. As these are your pets, I believe that you know what is best for them, so any lists, suggestions, and recommendations are most appreciated.
