“Kelci was a fantastic sitter for our puppy. As soon as you meet her you can sense her genuine love for animals. They took such great care of Winston and we could tell he was comfortable with their family and other pets when we came to pick him up. It gave us great peace of mind knowing he was in good hands with lots of space to play! We will definitely be choosing Kelci again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 20 years and they are always a part of our family. we currently have a golden doodle and love spending most of our time with our boy Simba. I am a software professional mostly stay at home to care of our daughter and dog. Also, we all stay at home during weekends and any holidays. So we got you covered for most of the time. We have a huge fenced yard, and I can take your dog for long walks and crate him required. I have my own fur buddy and we crate him for his naps.
About: My wife and I have cared for pets our whole lives—dogs, cats, chickens, birds, and fish. Today we have two happy dogs of our own, and we often look after family and friends’ pets. We're devoted to giving every four-legged friend the same love and care we give our own. I work from home, so I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My wife and I are available seven days a week to keep your pup happy and comfortable. My wife and I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can play safely. Our two dogs are on a regular schedule for feeding, potty breaks, and walks, and we’ll give the same care and consistency to yours. We can crate if needed and block off stairs for older dogs to prevent accidents. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always a top priority.
About: If you're looking for genuine, dedicated care, look no further! My name is Ryan, and as a full-time, stay-at-home step-dad, I have the inherent flexibility and unwavering devotion to ensure your pets have a comfortable, fun, and personalized stay. With no children of my own, my commitment is complete: I treat every animal I care for as my own child. I recently made the move from California and am using the financial stability created through different ventures to pursue one of my passions: pet sitting. This isn't a job for me; it's a heartfelt side venture, meaning your pet gets my undivided attention during their stay. My goal is simple: for your animals to have the absolute best, most loving experience possible while you're away. Unlike part-time sitters who squeeze visits between other obligations, my schedule is structured around consistent pet care and family time. As a stay at home pet parent, caring for my two Golden Retrievers and cat forms as a constant of my daily routine. This means all walks, feeding times, and play sessions are scheduled with precision and are not subject to outside work conflicts. Whether I am providing in-home boarding or day stays, I am always present and available. I commit to maintaining your pet's exact routine, from specific medication times to late-night potty breaks, ensuring a stable, predictable, and stress-free experience. 1. Trust and Availability Trust is the foundation of my service. As a full-time, stay-at-home sitter, your pet receives genuine, focused attention that is simply unmatched. My flexible schedule means I am not juggling another job; I am fully dedicated to their care. This constant presence allows me to quickly recognize any change in behavior, diet, or health and respond immediately. Please feel free to observe my home environment and my interactions with my two Golden Retrievers and cat. I provide updates, photos, and communication so you always feel connected and assured that your pet is safe and thriving. 2. In My Home (Boarding/Daycare) For in-home boarding, I provide a safe, secure, and pet-proofed environment. My home is designed to be a comfortable, low-stress retreat. Dogs enjoy a consistent routine of feeding, play, and scheduled outdoor time in a fenced yard (with or without my two dogs- preference based). All medications are administered exactly as prescribed and logged. For the safety of everyone, only pets who are current on vaccinations and demonstrate friendly temperaments are accepted. The environment is always low-density, meaning I take a limited number of guests at any time to guarantee that every animal receives the maximum amount of personal attention, love, and care.
“This is the first time our golden retriever has stayed anywhere without us so we were a little nervous. I think Ellie had a a great time. She was happy and tired when she got home. She looked to be having fun in the pictures Katie sent. Katie and her husband were so friendly and welcoming I won’t hesitate to use them again.”

“Sarah and family were so warm and inviting! They treated our dog like one of their own. We have planned for him to stay an entire week with them when we are away on vacation. We trust them fully!”

“I can't thank Griffin enough for taking care of my dog on such short notice. They were incredibly accommodating and provided excellent care. Highly recommended!"”

“Billie gives such kind, loving care to Ginger. She makes adorably decorated little jars of home made treats for special holidays and is a wonderful caregiver to our senior dog. Her own dog is an easy going older fella himself, and they ignore each other companionable. 😄”
“My GRIM just stayed with Aubrey today and I am not waiting to write a review! I am so so happy he got to experience a great play day with her and her dog after our last experience with another sitter a few weeks ago. I will definitely be reaching out to Aubrey every time I need a sitter from now on! She had no issues watching my pitbull breed. She fed him and gave me the food back that he didn’t eat instead of leaving me wondering how much he had ate. She sent me multiple pictures throughout the day. She had all of his stuff ready to go when I got there to pick him up. She had a clean and very spacious fenced back yard for them to run around in all day. She and her family were very friendly and welcoming. I could not have asked for anything more!”

About: Hello! **Repeat Clients get specialized Discount** I am an avid animal lover. I got my first pet when I was 3 years old. It was a kitten named Nicky. He taught me a lot of responsibility and showed me a lot of love. A few years later my my mom added several dogs to the family - miniature Schnauzers, Standard Schnauzer, and a Beagle mix Having these animals in my life has given me great experience and also taught me unconditional love. My previous dog helped me get through the rough days when I lost my mom to cancer. I have learned to care for seniors, animals requiring medication (orally) and how to work with young animals especially puppies. In your employ my top priority will be your pets happiness. Working for you is my only employment and my focus will be on your dog or cat only. They will get my undivided attention and I hope to spoil them like crazy. Since I have dealt with several puppies I can even try to bring some training tips to your dog if needed. Personally, I do still have my pup Julius but he lives with family out in the country loving his best life in open fields He is 12 now, He is my furry angel in he was my little protector. It is so true that not all angels have wings. I would have kept him but I could not afford all of the vet bills when you take care of a pet properly, luckily I have a family member I love so much that was able to provide that. I love spoiling dogs of course with the doggy parental guidelines, this includes specific food regiments and pills. I hope that I will get to meet you and your fur babies soon! I have a very go with the flow attitude, I make any animal I care for #1. I dont work full time, so time for pet care is very important to me. Whatever routine the family has I stick to for consistency. I do have other activities I do but they are always scheduled around my work as a pet care provider. 🙂 In my home I create a safe environment. I'm very aware of other animals around to keep your dogs safety number one priority. Unfortunately in this world people at their dogs off leash and that can be a problem. I have no problem following any regimented food or medication delivered to the animals. Also if I'm in a client's home I would treat it with respect and basically make it look like nothing has changed except your dog has gotten top-notch care. If there's anything specific in the requiring overnight boarding I am more than happy to oblige with that.
About: Ive been doing Rover now for almost 2 years and it has brought me so much joy and new friends! I worked a summer at kc zoo and it was the most fun job I have ever had. I've had dogs and cats my whole life. Also around horses from my uncle. I have adopted all of my animals from shelters. I love my dogs and cats like they are family. I have a teenage son I have to keep out of petco or any other animal place otherwise he wants to bring all the animals home, joking but not completely untrue. It's how we ended up with our Kitty Maisey. We even took care of the class's bearded dragon over spring break during Covid. He will come along on visits if available as he is the animal whisperer and wants to be a vet. Our 2 dogs are Dottie (our adopted covid pointer mix pup who is the sweetest girl and loves to have visitors to play with), and Marley who is our very sweet, laid back senior dog. Both our pups were rescues. Marley is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks so we sre familliar with giving medications and making dogs feel safe and comfortable. Dottie is allergic to something during the late summer and September month and takes medicine for that allergy at that time. We believe in treats but only rawhide free and dental bones. Please bring your own food and treats and let me know if you prefer not to share our treats. We also have 2 cats that are used to dogs and in fact think that each dog is their mommy since we got them as kittens and have an attachment to their respective dog mommy. You will even find cats and dogs snuggling together on the bed. Or Moose playing with Dottie in his tunnel. I have had animals with special needs from a diabetic cat that I gave insulin injections to treating animals with special needs. I live right down the street from a great dog park here in belton. We would love to take any new friends to visit. Please let me know if you prefer them not to go to the dog park and we can stay here and play. We have a fenced back yard but one side is only 4 ft. I work from home as a director so I have a very flexible schedule. My son does play competitive soccer so sometimes weekends have us at soccer field for about 2 hours. I have a fenced yard 3 sides are 6 foot privacy and one has a 4 foot chain link. I follow my client's care directions in their homes.
“Ms. Kathy is very nice and took good care of my 80 pound bernedoodle Roxy. He looked very happy playing in backyard with Riggs(Kathy's dog). I have received photos and updates how Roxy was doing. I would definitely look forward to booking again sometime in future.”

“Great communications (several check ins, including picture) to let me know my mini goldendoodle Enzo was settling in with the other dogs and doing well during his first day. Enzo was calm and confident when I picked him up - indicating it was a good experience for him too :) Thanks!”

About: My pet care experience began when I was a young child. My parents have always had at least five pets that I helped train and take care of while growing up. After we moved to a farm, they adopted more pets (dogs, cats, chickens, etc.); which allowed me to have more responsibilities and experiences taking care of animals. In college, I adopted my dog and had her for over 13 years. Sadly, she passed from old age and I have not adopted another pet since. I currently have a full-time job, but it does not involve animals. I am on Rover because I enjoy being around animals and taking care of them. My schedule is flexible and would allow me ample time throughout the day to assist others with their pets. My husband and I have very flexible work schedules that allow us to work from home most, if not all, of the week. We love going for walks with the dogs and playing with them in our fenced in backyard. As mentioned above, we have a fenced in backyard. We also have a large crate available if you prefer to have your dog crates for part of its stay. Thanks for taking your time to read about me! Hopefully, you’ll allow me to help you with your pet(s)!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Aubry commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in KS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
