About: My pet care experience began when I was a young child. My parents have always had at least five pets that I helped train and take care of while growing up. After we moved to a farm, they adopted more pets (dogs, cats, chickens, etc.); which allowed me to have more responsibilities and experiences taking care of animals. In college, I adopted my dog and had her for over 13 years. Sadly, she passed from old age and I have not adopted another pet since. I currently have a full-time job, but it does not involve animals. I am on Rover because I enjoy being around animals and taking care of them. My schedule is flexible and would allow me ample time throughout the day to assist others with their pets. My husband and I have very flexible work schedules that allow us to work from home most, if not all, of the week. We love going for walks with the dogs and playing with them in our fenced in backyard. As mentioned above, we have a fenced in backyard. We also have a large crate available if you prefer to have your dog crates for part of its stay. Thanks for taking your time to read about me! Hopefully, you’ll allow me to help you with your pet(s)!

About: Many years experience working, fostering (mostly cats) and rescuing animals which has led to experience in medicating and pilling cats including eye drops. We have our own personal dogs too. I work from home and will be here to play and care for them around the clock. I also have three teenagers who like to help with the playing and fussing side of animal care. When boarding your felines with us, they will have their own dedicated room, which is an easy clean and quiet when needed. If they like to be social, then they are welcome to roam the basement where I work. Regular visits and playtime will go on throughout the day.

“Ms. Kathy is very nice and took good care of my 80 pound bernedoodle Roxy. He looked very happy playing in backyard with Riggs(Kathy's dog). I have received photos and updates how Roxy was doing. I would definitely look forward to booking again sometime in future.”

About: Hello! I am an avid animal lover. I got my first pet when I was 3 years old. It was a kitten named Nicky. He taught me a lot of responsibility and showed me a lot of love. A few years later my my mom added several dogs to the family - miniature Schnauzers, Standard Schnauzer, and a Beagle mix Having these animals in my life has given me great experience and also taught me unconditional love. My previous dog helped me get through the rough days when I lost my mom to cancer. I have learned to care for seniors, animals requiring medication (orally) and how to work with young animals especially puppies. In your employ my top priority will be your pets happiness. Working for you is my only employment and my focus will be on your dog or cat only. They will get my undivided attention and I hope to spoil them like crazy. Since I have dealt with several puppies I can even try to bring some training tips to your dog if needed. Personally, I do still have my pup Julius but he lives with family out in the country loving his best life in open fields He is 12 now, He is my furry angel in he was my little protector. It is so true that not all angels have wings. I would have kept him but I could not afford all of the vet bills when you take care of a pet properly, luckily I have a family member I love so much that was able to provide that. I love spoiling dogs of course with the doggy parental guidelines, this includes specific food regiments and pills. I hope that I will get to meet you and your fur babies soon! I have a very go with the flow attitude, I make any animal I care for #1. I dont work full time, so time for pet care is very important to me. Whatever routine the family has I stick to for consistency. I do have other activities I do but they are always scheduled around my work as a pet care provider. 🙂 In my home I create a safe environment. I'm very aware of other animals around to keep your dogs safety number one priority. Unfortunately in this world people at their dogs off leash and that can be a problem. I have no problem following any regimented food or medication delivered to the animals. Also if I'm in a client's home I would treat it with respect and basically make it look like nothing has changed except your dog has gotten top-notch care. If there's anything specific in the requiring overnight boarding I am more than happy to oblige with that.

“Tuck's favorite day of the week is his day with Michelle and friends. He can't stop wiggling when I tell him where he's going. I always know he's in the best hands with Michelle!”

“Katie, did an excellent job taking care of Charlie, sent us update photos and made the who experience for both Charlie and us easy. She has a great environment for dogs and Charlie was really happy. I would highly recommend Katie.”

About: I've cared for dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles and exotics all my life; big, small, young and old. I've covered it all from potty training to arthritic care. I admit I don’t have much experience with birds and insects but I am happy to help if I can! My love for animals has led me to becoming a wildlife biologist, but my past includes years of working in doggy daycares, vet clinics, and even animal control. I am honest and dependable, with happy pets at home, able to welcome short term guests from 1 family. We can go over details in person or over the phone, but I will aim to keep your routine as much as possible and keep you updated on your pet! I am currently working full time, remote, with occasional 4 hour breaks from home for field work. We have a small fenced in yard but enjoy walking a minimum of 3 15 min walks a day, longer depending on the weather! I have one large breed sweet lazy girl dog, and one wild and rambunctious but good natured male. And one independent, playful, and gentle king of the castle-a cat. All of which are spoiled and well cared for. I have a spare cozy guest room, and am easily able to crate one or two dogs with their kennel provided and even a feline if all from the same family!
