“Kelli absolutely exceeded any and all expectations. Our dogs were so well taken care of and they updates were fantastic. So lucky and thankful we had the opportunity to work with her and would not hesitate to recommend.”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for many years and currently care for my own dogs, bird, and aquariums every day. Friends and family have trusted me to help care for their pets while they’re away. My background in healthcare has taught me to be dependable, detail-oriented, and calm in unexpected situations. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I’ll treat your pet with the same patience, kindness, and attention that I give my own. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I currently have a flexible schedule and will keep my Rover calendar updated so it always reflects my availability. I make pet care a priority and enjoy spending quality time with animals through walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. I understand how important consistency is for pets and will follow your instructions and routines to help them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I know every pet is different because I’ve experienced that with my own dogs. One of my dogs has epilepsy and takes medication on a strict schedule, so I understand how important routines, careful observation, and clear communication are. I have a fenced backyard and will follow your pet’s feeding, medication, exercise, and care instructions exactly as you ask. Whether your pet is young, senior, or has special needs, I’ll treat them with patience, kindness, and the same level of care I give my own pets. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you know your pet is safe and happy while you’re away.
“Hope was amazing with our senior cat! She took time to get to know him and played with him during her visits. She was also able to give him his medication without issue. She was excellent with her communication and gave wonderful updates with pictures! We will be asking Hope to pet sit again in the near future.”

“We are so thankful for Elizabeth looking after our cats. They were all happy, healthy, and playful when we got home. Elizabeth sent the best pictures every day, along with how each of them were doing. She played with them every day, and they were just such happy cats when we got home! Such a relief to know your cats are getting wonderful care while you are away. Our cats will be so happy to see her again for the next trip, they got really attached to her!”

About: What sets me apart is the love, patience, and real-life experience I bring as a pet parent to four amazing pets of my own: my cats Arcoiris and Benni, and my dogs Quico and Tina. I understand that every pet has their own personality, needs, and routine, and I take the time to make sure each one feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I have hands-on experience caring for pets with additional needs. When my cat Arcoiris was a kitten, he required both topical and oral medications for the first five months of his life, so I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and gentle care. I also have experience with puppies through raising Quico and Tina, so I know the time, structure, and attention younger pets need as they learn and grow. Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding routines, fresh litter boxes, medication support, or extra cuddles, I will treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets with someone else, and my goal is to give you peace of mind while making your pets feel like family. I am available Monday - Thursday after 4pm and Friday - Sunday all day for dog walking, drop in visits and housesitting. This is my part-time job. I have a partner who takes care of our pets while I’m taking care of yours. We provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for all pets that stay with us. We live in a spacious home with plenty of room for dogs to relax, play, and feel at ease. Our large, fully fenced backyard is perfect for supervised outdoor time, whether it’s for play, potty breaks, or just soaking up the sun. We have two friendly dogs and two laid-back cats who are used to being around other animals. We always introduce pets slowly and carefully to ensure everyone gets along and feels safe. We maintain a calm, structured routine with regular feedings, potty breaks, play sessions, and quiet time. We also make sure to follow any specific care instructions you provide, so your pet's routine stays consistent.
About: I have experience with dogs of all kinds and ages, especially puppies and senior dogs. I love to build relationships with all the dogs I care for and be another trusted human for them. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend! I have the flexibility to work primarily remote so I am available for house sitting throughout the week and weekends. I offer drop in visits and walks on evenings and weekends, though typically something can be worked out for those services during the week as well. Please reach out to see if my schedule would be a good fit for you and your pup! I will always care for your dog like they are my own and provide all the walks, pets, and cuddles they could want. Actual services provided will depend on your family’s needs for your furry friend. Please reach out to discuss additional options and your unique circumstances.
“Really appreciated Hannah being available for a drop-in visit on short notice. She did a fantastic job of leaving feedback and taking a few pictures! Can't wait to have Hannah for an overnight visit next.”

“Monica did a great job and made me deal super secure while I was away from my babies I truly dread taking vacation just because I hate to leave them. She stayed in touch with me ever step of the way and sent me fun pics to show me how much fun they were having. The only bad news is now my kitty thinks I am going to play all these fun games- lol. Thank you, Monica!”

About: I've had dogs of my own my whole life. I have cared for a variety of dogs such as administering to my neighbors diabetic dog to caring for my own 100 pound doberman pincher. I am also a certified nurses assistant which as taught me immense skills in caretaking and focusing on the health and wellness of others; skills in which carry over to animal caretaking!! I'm currently working part time and have a pretty flexible schedule!!! My schedule is super easy to work with and I am willing to work around your schedules as well! Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I understand that every dog has unique needs, so I take the time to follow each owner's instructions carefully and provide attentive, reliable care. Whether we're going for walks, playing, or relaxing at home, you can trust that your dog will be treated with the same love, patience, and respect that I would give my own.
About: I started pet sitting in college, and I have loved it ever since! I believe in treating pets like family members - with lots of love and attention. I promise that your pet will get 100% of my attention when they’re in my care. Please let me know if you have any specials requests.
“Luke is amazing!!! He comes on time all the time, plays with our dog, makes sure he is happy & content & takes great photos! We love having Luke come to care for our dog and know he is reliable and dependent ❤️”
About: I became a foster parent for GPSCA at the end of 2020 after adopting my bubbi with them during the summer. I took care of a mom and 3 puppies as my first assignment, all were adopted! <3 A few months after that, I fostered an older dog who had recently had surgery, who also got adopted after a couple of months with me. I love playing with dogs and getting to know all of their different personalities. My bubbi is an old man who loves to just snuggle and play catch with you. He's all about those TREATS too. Recently promoted to a hybrid job, 3 days in person, Mon-Weds. Unlike before where I was WFH. This would take me away for about 8-9 hours on those days. I know it can be scary for a pet to meet someone new. I like to make any dog I'm pet-sitting feel comfortable in its own environment. Whether that means I just sit there until they are comfy with me or abiding my their normal routine, I don't want them to feel out of place.
About: I have had dogs all my life. My whole family loves dogs. I am the proud dog mom to Winston, my shy and super sweet black Labrador, and Laney our rescued Labradoodle. Come play in our fenced in backyard. 1 acre lot outside of town, 1/2 acre fully fenced! I have the flexibility to let pups out when needed and let them play outside as long as they want. Puppy soccer and fetch happens non-stop at our house. I have older children that love to spoil your fur babies as well. I am blessed to have the work flexibility to be able to board your fur baby and give them the love and attention they need, while you are away.

Ashley did a great job of caring for our cat. This was the longest time we'd left him and it was so reassuring to get the updates and pictures Ashley sent. He is a really shy cat, but sensing her caring nature, warmed up to Ashley right away. We knew he was getting great care while we were away. Definitely going to be booking again !!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
