About: I am a stay-at-home Dad and my wife and I both work from home. We have 4 kids and our our own dog. Luna is a Scottish terrier that is middle age. I have been around dogs of all sizes for most of my life and now Rover for over 6 years! We have a good sized fenced in yard. We would like for your dog to be kid friendly. The kids are super good with our dog! Since I am home full time, I have plenty of availability for what you need. Talk to me about your dog and how we can make his or her stay fun and exciting ! We would love to make more doggy friends! This is my mine priority after taking care of the kids. We let the dogs in and out as much as they want during the day. We follow any instructions that are given for pet care. We treat them as we do our own dog. They are free to roam, go in and out as much as they like, and play with the other doggy friends we have. If we are doing drop-ins, we respect your property and leave it in exactly the same state as we arrived.

About: Ya know that child that has a heart for anything living? That child that wants to nurture even the wooly caterpillar or the slimy toad? Well, that was me and I’m still that child at heart today. If there was a stray within a 5 mile radius of my home, we’d find each other and become family. To this day, if I see an animal in need I cannot turn away. At the age of 11 I began sitting and walking my Aunt Linda’s Pekingese, Toyboy. Toy and Auntie taught me from a very young age the importance of keeping animals safe and respecting their personal boundaries as well. Animals ARE family members and should be treated as such. I’ve spent ample time as a volunteer in local rescue shelters, fostered adoptable dogs in my home and have always had at least two pets of my own consistently (the most at one time was six, and, honestly, it was a little slice of heaven to me). My personal experience as a pet mom has taught me many things. The good, the bad and the ugly. I’ve managed flight risks, diapered seniors, enforced the cone of shame, nursed wounds and stitches, cleaned up many a pet mess (from both ends) and administered medications. If a pet requires it, I’ve likely done it! One of the best and worst parts of being a pet mom is watching our babies grow older. As they age they change and need even more patience and love. There’s a special place in my heart for the older pets and I’m happy to patiently provide anything they need in your absence. A person is only as good as their word, and if you chose me to care for your babies, you’ll have my word that I will treat them as my own and give them the best of care and attention until your return. After retiring early from my career at 48 I’m finding I have more time on my hands than I can fill and I’d love to spend my extra time providing service to animals in need. Animals bring me a level of joy unsurpassed by any other activity I endeavor. Simply put, they make life worth living. They make me laugh, and laughing is truly the best medicine. I understand the importance of pet safety. I’ve had several personal pets that were lifetime “flight risks” (runners) so I know the importance of keeping a watchful eye on them every moment. Walking is a favorite past time and I’d enjoy the company of your fur babies. I’ll be happy to walk pets, check in on them throughout the day as needed, sit with them if they need more attention or administer necessary medications (I will not administer pills to cats). Having had several senior pets and a dog with cancer that I treated holistically for a year, has made me keenly familiar with senior and special needs pet care. Whatever your pet needs, I likely am able and willing to provide.

About: I adore my fur babies and would love to take care of yours! I am reliable, trustworthy and compassionate. I will treat your babies like my own! Flexible, just ask! 😊 We can definitely work out a time that works for both our schedules. Work Monday through Friday in the mornings and late afternoon. Pets are taken outside consistently in a safe area, made sure to have food and water and spoiled with all the love I have to give!

About: I've been an animal lover and pet owner my entire life and have been in home pet sitting for over 20 years. I will give your pet the attention they deserve on a daily basis. I am happy to accommodate whatever requests you have in order to take care of your pet. I work in Gardner as a cook at a retirement community. I am regularly available for overnights and drop-in visits. I am typically available to make in-home visits whenever you need them. I'm also able to accept last minute reservations for care. While I do own six cats, they are able to be separated from other animals that I am boarding in my home. I have a very large backyard, it is unfenced, so I would keep your pet on a leash or lead while outside. I prefer to watch animals in their own home, for their own peace and security. I am happy to do overnight stays if required. I'm very trustworthy and I am completely comfortable with you having cameras in your home while I am there.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since I was a small child. I have had puppies and geriatric dogs. I know what they need to stay out of trouble, play, affection, excercise. I have a young dog myself and she loves to play so I have gotten pretty good at it. If you live in the Miami County area of KS, I can easily visit your pet if you have to be away. I can also give medicines or baths if need be. Your beloved pet will be as comfortable as I can make them. In this time which health and safety are primary concerns please know that I will practice CDC guidelines and aseptic hand Hygiene. I can even bring a leash with me for walks. If you will place treats, food or any necessities out where I can access them touch contact will be limited. I will sanitize before interacting with your pet and after leaving. Hopefully this will all be behind us soon.

About: I’ve have taken care of animals my whole life. Both of my parents are veterinarians! I’m able to give medications & care for many animals! I also recently worked as an apprentice at a dog training facility & can help with basic obedience. I am currently working in the Kansas City area with plenty of free time to visit or stay with your pets! I will be available most weekends & weekdays. About: I've taken care of doggies for a long time and feel it is so important for them to get their exercise by taking a walk. I've walked my dog for 14 years and she still loves it, although our walks are shorter. I care for my daughters three dogs when she is traveling and enjoy walking them as well. Im comfortable with puppies up through senior dogs. This is my retirement job because I love doggies and walking. I am currently retired and have a flexible schedule during the day, and i am available seven days a week. I do travel on occasion. I have a fenced yard for their safety. Also, I am careful to follow instructions with your dogs care. Your dogs care, safety and happiness are my focus.

The biggest thing is that my dog didn’t bark at Chandra at all when I opened the door. My dog barks at everyone but not Chandra. I think that in itself deserves an A+. About: I have had dogs my entire life and seriously don't know a life without them. I have two stubborn, little dachshunds who think they're in charge most of the time. They also have two human sisters who they are very overprotective of (they’re 8 years old and 1 year old). My oldest dachshund had surgery for IVDD a few years ago so I am familiar with administering oral medication and providing needed crate rest. I have experience in taking care of puppies all the way up to the more cranky and older dogs. My husband and I work opposite schedules so there will always be someone home with your pup. I'm responsible, reliable, and I promise to treat your fur babies as if they were my own! For boarding, the amount of time your dog is left alone will be very minimal since my husband and I work opposite schedules. I have my dogs to take care of too so I’m used to caring for pets. For drop in visits, I can only do so before 7:30am and after 5pm, unless it’s a weekend. My availability can vary on weekends so just reach out and I’ll see if I can help! I have a fenced in yard for your pets to play in and go potty. I’m also able to crate them if necessary. I will feed your pets separately from mine so there are no altercations.

About: I have had all kinds of pets, dogs, cats, goats chickens and so on. I have love walking dogs and love to sit and talk to them. They are family! I work from home. So i can keep your dog or cat during the day. I can walk dogs after 5pm. I have one older rescue dog and 2 older cats. They love company. I do not have small children, i do have an older daughter who loves to help me with pets. I have a fenced yard. dogs will be safe in the yard. Cats will have 2 littler boxes to choose from. About: I grew up on a farm and fell in love with animals by being constantly surrounded by them! I started doing Rover in July, 2024 and I am loving it! I am currently living in Gardner, KS and am a physical therapy student at KU medical center. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide your pets with the care that they deserve. I am currently in school Tuesdays and Thursdays but the rest of the days I have completely free! My fairly open schedule makes it easy for me to give your pups lots of care and attention. About: I have had a dog all my life. Professionally in shelter industry for 12 years with all training courses. I am a certified dog trainer in Goodpup, certified in small animal vet assistant. I specialize in behavior modification, puppy training w and socialization and play activity. I am available 7 days a week. Day care is available with doggy play dates. My pet has been around cats and loves other dogs. I live in an apartment with dog park and trails. My dog loves all dogs and playing with other dogs.
