About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since I was a small child. I have had puppies and geriatric dogs. I know what they need to stay out of trouble, play, affection, excercise. I have a young dog myself and she loves to play so I have gotten pretty good at it. If you live in the Miami County area of KS, I can easily visit your pet if you have to be away. I can also give medicines or baths if need be. Your beloved pet will be as comfortable as I can make them. In this time which health and safety are primary concerns please know that I will practice CDC guidelines and aseptic hand Hygiene. I can even bring a leash with me for walks. If you will place treats, food or any necessities out where I can access them touch contact will be limited. I will sanitize before interacting with your pet and after leaving. Hopefully this will all be behind us soon.

About: Ya know that child that has a heart for anything living? That child that wants to nurture even the wooly caterpillar or the slimy toad? Well, that was me and I’m still that child at heart today. If there was a stray within a 5 mile radius of my home, we’d find each other and become family. To this day, if I see an animal in need I cannot turn away. At the age of 11 I began sitting and walking my Aunt Linda’s Pekingese, Toyboy. Toy and Auntie taught me from a very young age the importance of keeping animals safe and respecting their personal boundaries as well. Animals ARE family members and should be treated as such. I’ve spent ample time as a volunteer in local rescue shelters, fostered adoptable dogs in my home and have always had at least two pets of my own consistently (the most at one time was six, and, honestly, it was a little slice of heaven to me). My personal experience as a pet mom has taught me many things. The good, the bad and the ugly. I’ve managed flight risks, diapered seniors, enforced the cone of shame, nursed wounds and stitches, cleaned up many a pet mess (from both ends) and administered medications. If a pet requires it, I’ve likely done it! One of the best and worst parts of being a pet mom is watching our babies grow older. As they age they change and need even more patience and love. There’s a special place in my heart for the older pets and I’m happy to patiently provide anything they need in your absence. A person is only as good as their word, and if you chose me to care for your babies, you’ll have my word that I will treat them as my own and give them the best of care and attention until your return. After retiring early from my career at 48 I’m finding I have more time on my hands than I can fill and I’d love to spend my extra time providing service to animals in need. Animals bring me a level of joy unsurpassed by any other activity I endeavor. Simply put, they make life worth living. They make me laugh, and laughing is truly the best medicine. I understand the importance of pet safety. I’ve had several personal pets that were lifetime “flight risks” (runners) so I know the importance of keeping a watchful eye on them every moment. Walking is a favorite past time and I’d enjoy the company of your fur babies. I’ll be happy to walk pets, check in on them throughout the day as needed, sit with them if they need more attention or administer necessary medications (I will not administer pills to cats). Having had several senior pets and a dog with cancer that I treated holistically for a year, has made me keenly familiar with senior and special needs pet care. Whatever your pet needs, I likely am able and willing to provide.

About: Hi! I am a full time animal lover. I have been caring for my own pets since I could walk. My very first job was pet sitting for my neighbor when I was 10. I am up for all the tasks! I volunteer with my local animal shelter, as well as worked a few months as an extra hand at my local veterinary office. I love animals of all shapes and sizes from dogs and cats to snakes and frogs! About: I am a childless human that takes all my maternal instincts out on animals. My animals are treated like my kids and would bring the same kind of energy to your babies. There hasn’t been a time in my life that I haven’t owned some kind of pets. I’m reliable and would love to be a part of your families routine. I work from home and my work day is fairly flexible, specially to families that are in Spring Hill. I usually can make most times work. I am a very trustworthy, punctual, and caring human. I will go above and beyond for your furry children. My presence in your home would be to your requests and routines. I’ve yet to meet an animal that did not feel safe with me.

About: I've had pets my whole life, large and small dogs, and cats. I also have 100+ hrs walking dogs at the local shelter. Making sure they're happy and well taken care of genuinely makes me happy. I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! Right now i'm available anytime except between 10 and 2 p.m. on m-f. I have a large field behind my house, my yard is not fenced. I always have my dog on a leash when outside and do not kennel her when I'm gone. I do have a kennel if it's needed.

I care for my pets in my home by providing occasional separation breaks from each other in different rooms, entertainment with cat trees, and dog toys. I also provide the nutrition needed to raise healthy fur babies. I keep my reptiles enclosures clean and kept as well.

About: I love being outside connecting with Nature, especially animals. The passion for nature connection started when I was 10 years old in Oregon at a Nature camp. Ever since then I have had pets that I have taken care of. My favorite thing to do is be outside with them. I started a Non profit that is based in Nature Connection called Blue River Forest Experience in Overland Park, KS. Part of the Non profit is Animal Therapy. About: I grew up on a farm and fell in love with animals by being constantly surrounded by them! I started doing Rover in July, 2024 and I am loving it! I am currently living in Gardner, KS and am a physical therapy student at KU medical center. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide your pets with the care that they deserve. I am currently in school Tuesdays and Thursdays but the rest of the days I have completely free! My fairly open schedule makes it easy for me to give your pups lots of care and attention. To me, quality care for an animal means quality time spent with them! This is a skill that comes very naturally to me because I absolutely adore all animals. Making sure that dogs get proper nutrition, physical activity, and loving is very important to me.

About: I have a very open and flexible schedule. I have 2 small children and 3 pets of my own so I am an expert and being patient and seeing to the needs of others. I am currently available to care for pets between the hours of 9am- 7pm. I am available weekdays and weekends as well as the occasional overnight. I would love to have dogs over to my home but unfortunately my family dog is not a fan of having playmates. Any care will need to be in your home for the safety of your pets. About: I have had all kinds of pets, dogs, cats, goats chickens and so on. I have love walking dogs and love to sit and talk to them. They are family! I work from home. So i can keep your dog or cat during the day. I can walk dogs after 5pm. I have one older rescue dog and 2 older cats. They love company. I do not have small children, i do have an older daughter who loves to help me with pets. I have a fenced yard. dogs will be safe in the yard. Cats will have 2 littler boxes to choose from. If you have special food, i will separate and feed them. my dog/cats are older and very mild mannered. Your babies will get the best of attention.

About: I became a foster parent for GPSCA at the end of 2020 after adopting my bubbi with them during the summer. I took care of a mom and 3 puppies as my first assignment, all were adopted! <3 A few months after that, I fostered an older dog who had recently had surgery, who also got adopted after a couple of months with me. I love playing with dogs and getting to know all of their different personalities. My bubbi is an old man who loves to just snuggle and play catch with you. He's all about those TREATS too. Recently promoted to a hybrid job, 3 days in person, Mon-Weds. Unlike before where I was WFH. This would take me away for about 8-9 hours on those days. I know it can be scary for a pet to meet someone new. I like to make any dog I'm pet-sitting feel comfortable in its own environment. Whether that means I just sit there until they are comfy with me or abiding my their normal routine, I don't want them to feel out of place.

About: I have had a dog all my life. Professionally in shelter industry for 12 years with all training courses. I am a certified dog trainer in Goodpup, certified in small animal vet assistant. I specialize in behavior modification, puppy training w and socialization and play activity. I am available 7 days a week. Day care is available with doggy play dates. My pet has been around cats and loves other dogs. I live in an apartment with dog park and trails. My dog loves all dogs and playing with other dogs. I also have a large kennel and expert in house training.

About: I grew up on a farm with, cats, dogs, chickens, goats, ducks, geese. rabbits, horses, cattle, and a variety of household pets. I was a veterinary technician for 20 years. Being in the veterinary field, I saw many household pets suffer separation anxiety being left at the clinic to board and also saw pets get sick after boarding due to being out of their home environment, which is how TLC Equine & Pet Care got started. I am currently 100% self-employed and can fit any schedule to work with the needs of your pet's health and safety. I also provide mail and package pickup, set trash out to the curb, water plants. Make your home look lived in while you are away. I do care for dogs in my home, it is a very relaxed environment. I live in the country and do not have a fenced in yard. They are walked on leashes and completely safe. Playpens also provided upon request for playtime outside.

About: Animals are my world, I’m a proud owner of my fur baby. I’ve had dogs in my household since I was a baby. I’ve been helping take care of them my whole life. I’ve also owned a bunny and had a cat most of my life as well. About: I have had dogs my entire life and seriously don't know a life without them. I have two stubborn, little dachshunds who think they're in charge most of the time. They also have two human sisters who they are very overprotective of (they’re 8 years old and 1 year old). My oldest dachshund had surgery for IVDD a few years ago so I am familiar with administering oral medication and providing needed crate rest. I have experience in taking care of puppies all the way up to the more cranky and older dogs. My husband and I work opposite schedules so there will always be someone home with your pup. I'm responsible, reliable, and I promise to treat your fur babies as if they were my own! For boarding, the amount of time your dog is left alone will be very minimal since my husband and I work opposite schedules. I have my dogs to take care of too so I’m used to caring for pets. For drop in visits, I can only do so before 7:30am and after 5pm, unless it’s a weekend. My availability can vary on weekends so just reach out and I’ll see if I can help! I have a fenced in yard for your pets to play in and go potty. I’m also able to crate them if necessary. I will feed your pets separately from mine so there are no altercations.
