About: Ya know that child that has a heart for anything living? That child that wants to nurture even the wooly caterpillar or the slimy toad? Well, that was me and I’m still that child at heart today. If there was a stray within a 5 mile radius of my home, we’d find each other and become family. To this day, if I see an animal in need I cannot turn away. At the age of 11 I began sitting and walking my Aunt Linda’s Pekingese, Toyboy. Toy and Auntie taught me from a very young age the importance of keeping animals safe and respecting their personal boundaries as well. Animals ARE family members and should be treated as such. I’ve spent ample time as a volunteer in local rescue shelters, fostered adoptable dogs in my home and have always had at least two pets of my own consistently (the most at one time was six, and, honestly, it was a little slice of heaven to me). My personal experience as a pet mom has taught me many things. The good, the bad and the ugly. I’ve managed flight risks, diapered seniors, enforced the cone of shame, nursed wounds and stitches, cleaned up many a pet mess (from both ends) and administered medications. If a pet requires it, I’ve likely done it! One of the best and worst parts of being a pet mom is watching our babies grow older. As they age they change and need even more patience and love. There’s a special place in my heart for the older pets and I’m happy to patiently provide anything they need in your absence. A person is only as good as their word, and if you chose me to care for your babies, you’ll have my word that I will treat them as my own and give them the best of care and attention until your return. After retiring early from my career at 48 I’m finding I have more time on my hands than I can fill and I’d love to spend my extra time providing service to animals in need. Animals bring me a level of joy unsurpassed by any other activity I endeavor. Simply put, they make life worth living. They make me laugh, and laughing is truly the best medicine. I understand the importance of pet safety. I’ve had several personal pets that were lifetime “flight risks” (runners) so I know the importance of keeping a watchful eye on them every moment. Walking is a favorite past time and I’d enjoy the company of your fur babies. I’ll be happy to walk pets, check in on them throughout the day as needed, sit with them if they need more attention or administer necessary medications (I will not administer pills to cats). Having had several senior pets and a dog with cancer that I treated holistically for a year, has made me keenly familiar with senior and special needs pet care. Whatever your pet needs, I likely am able and willing to provide.

About: Hello, I love dogs and I’d love to take care of your loved pets and provide excellent care. I will be providing multiple updates through out the stay and as many pictures as needed. I have a total of 15 year experience with dogs. I have a German Shepherd of my own who is extremely friendly. The services I provide are the following: drop-in visits, walking of your dog/s, and boarding. Let me know if you have questions or concerns. I am always open to a meet and greet as well. Whether your pet is young, senior, or has special needs, I’ll treat them with patience, kindness, and the same level of care I give my own pets. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you know your pet is safe and happy while you’re away.

About: My full time job is a Veterinary Assistant and I’m currently in school to become a Vet Tech. I also have done Kennel Staff work since I was 14. I can give any medication and tend to any routine or care they need. I currently have Tuesdays, Saturday, and Sundays off! That’s leaves so much time for me to care for your fur babies! Perfect for a weekend getaway while I care for your pets! My full time job is a Veterinary Assistant and I’m currently in school to be a Vet Tech. Your pets are in good hands with me. I also have 3 pets at home, they have a large fenced in yard and plenty of toys to play with.

About: I am a childless human that takes all my maternal instincts out on animals. My animals are treated like my kids and would bring the same kind of energy to your babies. There hasn’t been a time in my life that I haven’t owned some kind of pets. I’m reliable and would love to be a part of your families routine. I work from home and my work day is fairly flexible, specially to families that are in Spring Hill. I usually can make most times work. I am a very trustworthy, punctual, and caring human. I will go above and beyond for your furry children. My presence in your home would be to your requests and routines. I’ve yet to meet an animal that did not feel safe with me.

About: I have had dogs my entire life and seriously don't know a life without them. I have two stubborn, little dachshunds who think they're in charge most of the time. They also have two human sisters who they are very overprotective of (they’re 8 years old and 1 year old). My oldest dachshund had surgery for IVDD a few years ago so I am familiar with administering oral medication and providing needed crate rest. I have experience in taking care of puppies all the way up to the more cranky and older dogs. My husband and I work opposite schedules so there will always be someone home with your pup. I'm responsible, reliable, and I promise to treat your fur babies as if they were my own! For boarding, the amount of time your dog is left alone will be very minimal since my husband and I work opposite schedules. I have my dogs to take care of too so I’m used to caring for pets. For drop in visits, I can only do so before 7:30am and after 5pm, unless it’s a weekend. My availability can vary on weekends so just reach out and I’ll see if I can help! I have a fenced in yard for your pets to play in and go potty. I’m also able to crate them if necessary. I will feed your pets separately from mine so there are no altercations.

Pets are taken outside consistently in a safe area, made sure to have food and water and spoiled with all the love I have to give!

About: I grew up with dogs, and I’ve always said that I would help any animal in need. At age 15 I took on the sole responsibility of caring for two guinea pigs. At age 16 I began volunteering at an animal rescue in Lewisville, Texas and at age 19 I started working at a veterinary clinic in Hays, KS. Recently I have been using my passion for helping others in elderly care, but I have moved back to the Kansas City area and I’d like to get back to working with animals beyond just the informal care I do for my cousin’s two pitbulls and my family’s two labradors. I am working on securing full time employment and so I will be caring for pets during the hours that I am not at work. I believe every animal should be treated with kindness. I enjoy playing with pets and engaging them. I am always on time and I insure that dogs get sufficient exercise.

About: I have had a dog all my life. Professionally in shelter industry for 12 years with all training courses. I am a certified dog trainer in Goodpup, certified in small animal vet assistant. I specialize in behavior modification, puppy training w and socialization and play activity. I am available 7 days a week. Day care is available with doggy play dates. My pet has been around cats and loves other dogs. I live in an apartment with dog park and trails. My dog loves all dogs and playing with other dogs. I also have a large kennel and expert in house training.

About: Hi I’m Ellie and I’m 22 years old! Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly believe they are one of life’s greatest gifts. Growing up, my family had six dogs, mostly large breeds, along with a couple of smaller dogs so I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I currently have two Black Labs, ages 3 and 5, who keep me active and remind me every day how important exercise, attention, and love are for a dog’s well-being. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I’m committed to providing safe, reliable, and compassionate care. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved!!! My goal is to treat every dog as if they were my own and give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. (: (I am unavailable Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 7 am- 2pm due to school). I strive to be as flexible as possible and am happy to work with your schedule. I currently work as a server, so my weekday hours can vary, but I am often able to adjust my schedule when needed. I am available for early morning visits starting around 8:00 AM, as well as afternoon and early evening visits. If you have specific scheduling needs, feel free to reach out! I will always do my best to accommodate you and ensure your pet receives the care and attention they deserve. I am not offering pet care in my own home. However, I am available for house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking in my clients’ homes. About: I love being outside connecting with Nature, especially animals. The passion for nature connection started when I was 10 years old in Oregon at a Nature camp. Ever since then I have had pets that I have taken care of. My favorite thing to do is be outside with them. I started a Non profit that is based in Nature Connection called Blue River Forest Experience in Overland Park, KS. Part of the Non profit is Animal Therapy. About: I have worked at a dog boarding and daycare facility where I cared for all kinds of dogs with different energy levels. I have also volunteered at an animal shelter where I walked high energy dogs. I love taking care of and being around dogs and have watched family dogs for years. I also cared for my personal dog for many years. I currently work a part time job so I have lots of time to take care of of your furry family members!! I am available all day Tuesday and Thursday as well as Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings. I definitely prefer walking your pups in morning or evenings to avoid the hot pavement. I do not offer dog sitting. For dog walking I am familiar and comfortable with walking high energy or reactive dogs as long as that is communicated. I also know the signs of heat stroke, aggression, and bloat due to my time working in a doggy daycare. If you choose to trust me to car for your pet, their safety will always be my top priority.

About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! If I have 2 weeks or more advanced notice I can make arrangements to be able to check in more frequently. o o o o o o o o o o I love interacting with the pets and getting to see them get more comfortable with me. I am very comunicative and willing to ask questions.

About: I have over a year of hands-on experience working in an animal shelter and previously worked at a dog daycare facility for a year. In both settings, I cared for dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and temperaments, including shy, high-energy, and special-needs pets. I have also volunteered with animals for 3 years and grew up in a home with both dogs and cats. I am currently working as a dog bather at PetSmart for fun and I currently have 2 cats and a mini pig, so I understand the importance of routine, enrichment, and individualized care. I'm currently in school twice a week and have time before and after for your babies! I work PRN at a hospital so I have plenty of free days to fill supporting your dogs and cats! I will follow all rules given to me and treat every dog and cat with respect. I respect boundaries and give treats when needed. I'm comfortable on a leash, kenneling, and just spending time.

About: I've had indoor dogs my entire life. I currently have a 13 year old Senior Beagle and his sister, 10 year old Beagle mix. I will treat your animals with the same care as I do mine. I know what's it's like to be busy and not be able to get home during the day to care for your dog. I will walk, or let your dog out to potty. I will give medication if needed along with check for food/water. I can also text, send pictures during my visit. I currently work from home, which gives me a flexibility daytime schedule to walk, let out to potty and play/interact with your dog or cat. I will show your pet love and care for your piece of mind. I have a fenced yard for my two dogs, but I also see the great benefit in walking them daily. I will gladly come to your home, let your dog(s) out and walk them if you like. I will also take great care to make sure your dog or cat stay safe and keep all doors and gates closed.
