About: I have had dogs my entire life and seriously don't know a life without them. I have two stubborn, little dachshunds who think they're in charge most of the time. They also have two human sisters who they are very overprotective of (they’re 8 years old and 1 year old). My oldest dachshund had surgery for IVDD a few years ago so I am familiar with administering oral medication and providing needed crate rest. I have experience in taking care of puppies all the way up to the more cranky and older dogs. My husband and I work opposite schedules so there will always be someone home with your pup. I'm responsible, reliable, and I promise to treat your fur babies as if they were my own! For boarding, the amount of time your dog is left alone will be very minimal since my husband and I work opposite schedules. I have my dogs to take care of too so I’m used to caring for pets. For drop in visits, I can only do so before 7:30am and after 5pm, unless it’s a weekend. My availability can vary on weekends so just reach out and I’ll see if I can help! I have a fenced in yard for your pets to play in and go potty. I’m also able to crate them if necessary. I will feed your pets separately from mine so there are no altercations.

About: Ya know that child that has a heart for anything living? That child that wants to nurture even the wooly caterpillar or the slimy toad? Well, that was me and I’m still that child at heart today. If there was a stray within a 5 mile radius of my home, we’d find each other and become family. To this day, if I see an animal in need I cannot turn away. At the age of 11 I began sitting and walking my Aunt Linda’s Pekingese, Toyboy. Toy and Auntie taught me from a very young age the importance of keeping animals safe and respecting their personal boundaries as well. Animals ARE family members and should be treated as such. I’ve spent ample time as a volunteer in local rescue shelters, fostered adoptable dogs in my home and have always had at least two pets of my own consistently (the most at one time was six, and, honestly, it was a little slice of heaven to me). My personal experience as a pet mom has taught me many things. The good, the bad and the ugly. I’ve managed flight risks, diapered seniors, enforced the cone of shame, nursed wounds and stitches, cleaned up many a pet mess (from both ends) and administered medications. If a pet requires it, I’ve likely done it! One of the best and worst parts of being a pet mom is watching our babies grow older. As they age they change and need even more patience and love. There’s a special place in my heart for the older pets and I’m happy to patiently provide anything they need in your absence. A person is only as good as their word, and if you chose me to care for your babies, you’ll have my word that I will treat them as my own and give them the best of care and attention until your return. After retiring early from my career at 48 I’m finding I have more time on my hands than I can fill and I’d love to spend my extra time providing service to animals in need. Animals bring me a level of joy unsurpassed by any other activity I endeavor. Simply put, they make life worth living. They make me laugh, and laughing is truly the best medicine. I understand the importance of pet safety. I’ve had several personal pets that were lifetime “flight risks” (runners) so I know the importance of keeping a watchful eye on them every moment. Walking is a favorite past time and I’d enjoy the company of your fur babies. I’ll be happy to walk pets, check in on them throughout the day as needed, sit with them if they need more attention or administer necessary medications (I will not administer pills to cats). Having had several senior pets and a dog with cancer that I treated holistically for a year, has made me keenly familiar with senior and special needs pet care. Whatever your pet needs, I likely am able and willing to provide.

About: I have taken care of my own personal dogs for the past 10 years. I have learned to balance my own studies with taking care of my puppy. I am currently a post-graduate student so my summer is very flexible to be able to take care of your lovely pets! During school, I was able to take my pet on walks and to the park around my class schedule. I make sure my pets get plenty outdoors time as well as cuddles during the day. I also give work on basic skills so they can get treats.

About: I love being outdoors and going in walks so this is a perfect place to do so while helping others out. I’ve used rover many of times and loved it. I work from home so I’m super flexible. About: I've taken care of doggies for a long time and feel it is so important for them to get their exercise by taking a walk. I've walked my dog for 14 years and she still loves it, although our walks are shorter. I care for my daughters three dogs when she is traveling and enjoy walking them as well. Im comfortable with puppies up through senior dogs. This is my retirement job because I love doggies and walking. I am currently retired and have a flexible schedule during the day, and i am available seven days a week. I do travel on occasion. I have a fenced yard for their safety. Also, I am careful to follow instructions with your dogs care. Your dogs care, safety and happiness are my focus.

About: I have had a dog all my life. Professionally in shelter industry for 12 years with all training courses. I am a certified dog trainer in Goodpup, certified in small animal vet assistant. I specialize in behavior modification, puppy training w and socialization and play activity. I am available 7 days a week. Day care is available with doggy play dates. My pet has been around cats and loves other dogs. I live in an apartment with dog park and trails. My dog loves all dogs and playing with other dogs. About: I am a stay-at-home Dad and my wife and I both work from home and we have four kids. I have been around dogs of all sizes for most of my life and now Rover for over 8 years! We have a good sized fenced in yard. We would like for your dog to be kid friendly. The kids are super good with our dog! Since I am home full time, I have plenty of availability for what you need. Talk to me about your dog and how we can make his or her stay fun and exciting ! We would love to make more doggy friends! This is my mine priority after taking care of the kids. We let the dogs in and out as much as they want during the day. We follow any instructions that are given for pet care. We treat them as we do our own dog. They are free to roam, go in and out as much as they like, and play with the other doggy friends we have. If we are doing drop-ins, we respect your property and leave it in exactly the same state as we arrived.

About: I have taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with lots of dogs and I was always responsible for feeding them, bathing them and making sure they had enough exercise. I have been around all ages of dogs from puppies to seniors. On top of taking care of my own pets I have been a pet sitter for multiple friends and family for years. I currently work part time, mostly in the afternoon therefore my schedule is pretty flexible each day. Mornings are ideal times for me to provide care for your pets but like I said, I can be flexible. I am also available most weekends for walks or boarding. I currently live in apartment and have 2 cats so I would not be able to have your pet stay in my home. However I am more than willing to provide care in the clients home in whatever way they need.

About: I've been an animal lover and pet owner my entire life and have been in home pet sitting for over 20 years. I will give your pet the attention they deserve on a daily basis. I am happy to accommodate whatever requests you have in order to take care of your pet. I work in Gardner as a cook at a retirement community. While I do own six cats, they are able to be separated from other animals that I am boarding in my home. I have a very large backyard, it is unfenced, so I would keep your pet on a leash or lead while outside. I prefer to watch animals in their own home, for their own peace and security. I am happy to do overnight stays if required. I'm very trustworthy and I am completely comfortable with you having cameras in your home while I am there.

About: I've had three family dog throughout my lifetime and have helped to take care of them. Additionally, I have dog sat for family friends on multiple different occasions. I am a senior at Pittsburg State University and would love to dog sit, dog walk, or anything else when not actively studying! I am available starting August 20, 2024! I love dogs. About: I grew up with dogs, and I’ve always said that I would help any animal in need. At age 15 I took on the sole responsibility of caring for two guinea pigs. At age 16 I began volunteering at an animal rescue in Lewisville, Texas and at age 19 I started working at a veterinary clinic in Hays, KS. Recently I have been using my passion for helping others in elderly care, but I have moved back to the Kansas City area and I’d like to get back to working with animals beyond just the informal care I do for my cousin’s two pitbulls and my family’s two labradors. I am working on securing full time employment and so I will be caring for pets during the hours that I am not at work. I believe every animal should be treated with kindness. I enjoy playing with pets and engaging them. I am always on time and I insure that dogs get sufficient exercise.

About: I have had all kinds of pets, dogs, cats, goats chickens and so on. I have love walking dogs and love to sit and talk to them. They are family! I work from home. So i can keep your dog or cat during the day. I can walk dogs after 5pm. I have one older rescue dog and 2 older cats. They love company. I do not have small children, i do have an older daughter who loves to help me with pets. I have a fenced yard. dogs will be safe in the yard. Cats will have 2 littler boxes to choose from. If you have special food, i will separate and feed them. my dog/cats are older and very mild mannered. Your babies will get the best of attention.
