About: I have had dogs my entire life and seriously don't know a life without them. I have two stubborn, little dachshunds who think they're in charge most of the time. They also have two human sisters who they are very overprotective of (they’re 8 years old and 1 year old). My oldest dachshund had surgery for IVDD a few years ago so I am familiar with administering oral medication and providing needed crate rest. I have experience in taking care of puppies all the way up to the more cranky and older dogs. My husband and I work opposite schedules so there will always be someone home with your pup. I'm responsible, reliable, and I promise to treat your fur babies as if they were my own! For boarding, the amount of time your dog is left alone will be very minimal since my husband and I work opposite schedules. I have my dogs to take care of too so I’m used to caring for pets. For drop in visits, I can only do so before 7:30am and after 5pm, unless it’s a weekend. My availability can vary on weekends so just reach out and I’ll see if I can help! I have a fenced in yard for your pets to play in and go potty. I’m also able to crate them if necessary. I will feed your pets separately from mine so there are no altercations.

About: Hi I’m Ellie and I’m 22 years old! Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly believe they are one of life’s greatest gifts. Growing up, my family had six dogs, mostly large breeds, along with a couple of smaller dogs so I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I currently have two Black Labs, ages 3 and 5, who keep me active and remind me every day how important exercise, attention, and love are for a dog’s well-being. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I’m committed to providing safe, reliable, and compassionate care. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved!!! About: Ya know that child that has a heart for anything living? That child that wants to nurture even the wooly caterpillar or the slimy toad? Well, that was me and I’m still that child at heart today. If there was a stray within a 5 mile radius of my home, we’d find each other and become family. To this day, if I see an animal in need I cannot turn away. At the age of 11 I began sitting and walking my Aunt Linda’s Pekingese, Toyboy. Toy and Auntie taught me from a very young age the importance of keeping animals safe and respecting their personal boundaries as well. Animals ARE family members and should be treated as such. I’ve spent ample time as a volunteer in local rescue shelters, fostered adoptable dogs in my home and have always had at least two pets of my own consistently (the most at one time was six, and, honestly, it was a little slice of heaven to me). My personal experience as a pet mom has taught me many things. The good, the bad and the ugly. I’ve managed flight risks, diapered seniors, enforced the cone of shame, nursed wounds and stitches, cleaned up many a pet mess (from both ends) and administered medications. If a pet requires it, I’ve likely done it! One of the best and worst parts of being a pet mom is watching our babies grow older. As they age they change and need even more patience and love. There’s a special place in my heart for the older pets and I’m happy to patiently provide anything they need in your absence. A person is only as good as their word, and if you chose me to care for your babies, you’ll have my word that I will treat them as my own and give them the best of care and attention until your return. After retiring early from my career at 48 I’m finding I have more time on my hands than I can fill and I’d love to spend my extra time providing service to animals in need. Animals bring me a level of joy unsurpassed by any other activity I endeavor. Simply put, they make life worth living. They make me laugh, and laughing is truly the best medicine. I understand the importance of pet safety. I’ve had several personal pets that were lifetime “flight risks” (runners) so I know the importance of keeping a watchful eye on them every moment. Walking is a favorite past time and I’d enjoy the company of your fur babies. I’ll be happy to walk pets, check in on them throughout the day as needed, sit with them if they need more attention or administer necessary medications (I will not administer pills to cats). Having had several senior pets and a dog with cancer that I treated holistically for a year, has made me keenly familiar with senior and special needs pet care. Whatever your pet needs, I likely am able and willing to provide.

About: I have had a dog all my life. Professionally in shelter industry for 12 years with all training courses. I am a certified dog trainer in Goodpup, certified in small animal vet assistant. I specialize in behavior modification, puppy training w and socialization and play activity. I am available 7 days a week. Day care is available with doggy play dates. About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 and I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and cats, and I currently have four dogs of my own, so I’ve always been around animals. I work at a dog daycare in Lawrence, where I get to work with all kinds of dogs. I help with playgroups, feeding, medications, and making sure everyone is safe and doing well. I’m also comfortable with cats, including cats that are a little shy or like to keep to themselves. I recently graduated high school and just started at JCCC. I’m taking my prerequisites there and hopefully will eventually transfer to K-State and continue working toward my goal of becoming a veterinarian! My boyfriend, Cameron, is 20 and helps me with pet sitting. He loves animals too and has a lot of experience with them. He helped train our German Shepherd from a puppy and grew up with several cats, so he’s comfortable around both dogs and cats. I just like to let everyone know that Cameron may come with me for visits or overnight stays. We both really enjoy being around animals and will take great care of your pets while you’re away! I work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I’m available before work, during my breaks, and after work. So I am able to check your pets every 4-5 hours. I also have full availability on weekends and Mondays. I do my best to be flexible to meet your pet’s needs !! When I cannot monitor them, they'll get to chill in a cozy crate or pen, with fresh water always available and a chew toy, puzzle, or snack to keep them entertained. For walks and other adventures, I will always keep your dog leashed and close to me. I love to take dogs out on excursions to parks, trails, and other such places! Of course, I will always check with you first to make sure that we don't go somewhere your dog doesn't enjoy. I have three adult dogs (all ~45lbs) and a cat in my home. The cat is dog-friendly, but also is able to be kept entirely separate from your dog if needed. My dogs are all 100% dog-friendly, have good play manners, and are also able to be neutral around/ignore other dogs when told. They are very patient with young puppies as well! And if your pup isn't one for new friends, don't worry - they can be kept totally separate on request, and your dog will still get plenty of one-on-one playtime & snuggles with me. It is 100% up to you if your pup has any interaction with other dogs (or the cat). Full separation is possible, but if you'd like your dog to make some furry friends, I am happy to safely facilitate that! All interactions between your dog and other pets will be of limited time and monitored - the dogs will never be alone together. For safety and management reasons, I cannot accept boarding bookings for dogs that are not able to be comfortable in a crate (or pen, for small dogs only). Have other questions or concerns? About: I’ve been apart of rover for 5 years now, and my experience in pet sitting proceeds that for 10+. I love pets and have a very flexible schedule. I am freshly back to the area after college graduation so I will be around for the near future with lots of free time. My work schedule is 8-4:30pm M-F so I will be out of the home during those times, with availability to stop in for a visit around lunch time. I am energetic and willing to work with you to give you the most peace of mind as possible as you go on your trips! I work full time 8-4:30 Monday-Friday with special cases on holidays. I am available any time outside of those hours and short period in the middle of the day to drop in during my lunch hour. I am not able to house pets in my house but I am more than comfortable to watch them in your house. I have practice and experience with all safety measures that are needed with pet and home care.
