“Anna and the crew were great with Timothee. I felt like he got an amazing Pack experience with them and gained a few social skills along the way. These guys know how to manage a group of dogs and if that's what you are seeking - look no further!! They have plenty of space and lots of room to run!! We'll be back for more "dog camp" in the future!!”

“Since Griffin works from home he was able to provide our pup with the human company he is used to at home. This was important for me. Griffin’s little dog was happy to share space with ours. Easy access to play in the fenced in backyard was especially nice on sunny days. Willy was well-cared for during his stay in Griffin’s home.”

“Elizabeth was amazing with my two cats! She went above and beyond to make my cats feel comfortable and happy during their stay. Loved getting daily updates with pictures. This was my first experience having someone that was not family watch them and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Would absolutely use her again!”

“We always have peace of mind whenever Moose stays with Stephanie. All those random photos that we received while we were away reassured us that he is happy a great time. I can’t count how many times moose stayed with her, but she’s definitely our go-to gal.”

“Melanie is a wonderful sitter. She and her husband have watched my dog a number of times for several days at a time. They are home quite a bit and my dog gets along with their dogs, so I feel like she’s right at home with them. She is always clean and happy the way I left her. Melanie is always super responsive with texting and flexible with me on drop off and pick up times. Can’t ask for anything more from a petsitter.”

“Steve is great. Really good guy who obviously cares about his and other people’s pets. He’s very accommodating and flexible. My dogs enjoy being there. Steve has become my go-to pet sitter in Lawrence.”

“My two little, and I do mean little, dogs had a great time with Brandie this past weekend. Her communication was fabulous and drop off and pick up we’re easy. I’d use her again anytime!”

“Lucy was awesome! Her two young daughters immediately helped Pepper feel loved and welcomed. The whole family was excited and slowly introduced Pepper to the other dogs. I got a photo update every day and Pepper was so happy at pick up :)”

“Abigail was so wonderful to us and our pups. She kept us updated and sent a lot of pictures. She has a wonderful playful poodle that got along with our dogs great and they came home nice and tired! Highly recommend!”
“Kaiya did great and loved the extra attention and buddies to play with. I also really appreciated Kelly's flexibility with our schedule. Would happily book again!”

About: I’ve been a passionate pet lover for as long as I can remember. Over the years, my home has been a revolving door of wonderful companions—from dogs and cats to saltwater fish, birds, and even a lizard at one point! Having raised and cared for animals through every single stage of their lives, I’ve gained a lot of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of what it takes to keep them happy and healthy. Welcome to the ultimate doggy hangout! I’ve got a huge, fenced-in backyard and a doggy door so the outdoor fun never stops. My dog, Hopper, is a huge fan of playdates and loves having buddies around. Since I don't use crates or cages, pets have total freedom to roam between the house and the yard, keeping the energy up and the good times rolling even while I'm at work. My large backyard is the perfect spot for plenty of playtime and fresh air. The doggy door is specifically sized for big dogs, so they can head out to explore or lounge in the sun whenever they please. My own dog is a huge fan of having friends over, and he loves nothing more than sharing his yard and keeping his playmates company!
“First time boarding and was very nervous but Angela was amazing and totally reassured me!!! she took wonderful care of my kitty and sent me little texts and pictures throughout the stay! would 100% book again and would definitely recommend her!”

“Loving caring home. I am a Tiger fur baby mom and I felt completely comfortable leaving Daisy with Linda. She was very flexible and Daisy was happy and well taken care of. Linda’s home is very pet friendly and it was obvious she loves dogs!”

“Excellent care provided - my usually super separation anxiety riddled dog didn't even look back when I dropped him off for his second stay with Claire.”

“Michelle did an EXCELLENT job taking care of my dog, Trek, even though it was not an easy task. Trek is an elderly dog that requires medication twice a day and also is a finicky eater while I'm away. Michelle had no reservations whatsoever with administering medication. When Trek would not eat, she took a special trip to the store to buy special dog treats and hawaiian rolls so that Trek would be able to eat something before taking his meds to prevent an upset tummy. Michelle sent pictures with updates, which made me feel even more comfortable that he was well taken care of. I am very impressed with Michelle's knowledge of dog care and training; she knows her stuff! Thanks again for taking care of my special old man! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!”

“We left our huskies with Lisa and it was the best experience for us as well as our fur babies! She made the whole process seamless, anxiety free and enjoyable! Her calm demeanor, extreme patience and true love for dogs is what will make us go to her over and over again! Thank you Lisa!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in KS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
