“I was super skeptical about using this app. My pup doesn’t always do the greatest being away from me. Let me tell you, I am super thankful to have found Erin. She does an amazing job. She communicates and updates you frequently. She has been extremely flexible and patient with me when I have ran late.”

“Brittany and her husband were fantastic watching our golden, Leia, while we were away on a Christmas cruise. I got several updates during the week with pictures! When we went to pick Leia up, it was like she was right at home and super comfortable which is very important to us! She’s very attached to my husband and I, so to see her happy and not anxious was amazing. We travel frequently and will definitely use them again.”

“Karrie took wonderful care of Barley for us! She was a great communicator, whether it was setting up the meet and greet, leading up to the stay, or providing us with great updates and pictures (without us having to ask for them)! Easy access to play in the fenced in backyard was especially nice on sunny days. Willy was well-cared for during his stay in Griffin’s home.”

About: I've had pets my whole life, and love all kinds! Through the years, I've had cats and dogs, birds, ferrets, hamsters, rabbits, mice, and hermit crabs as personal pets. I currently have a 10-year-old Bichon Frise, a two-year-old rabbit, and a one-year-old cat. My sweet Siren (cat) passed away last year just shy of her 22nd birthday. I'm available to help other people out by providing a loving, friendly face to walk or visit your pet, or to watch them in our home when you need. I provide gentle care that is tailored to each pet. Some pets need a quiet and calm presence, others want to expend energy and play. I adapt to the needs of the pet so every pet can feel comfortable! I'm a teacher currently on summer break! I have two kids at home, a teenage son and an elementary-age daughter, and if your pet comes to stay with us then he or she can expect plenty of love, pets, and cuddles and as much play as they want! When I come to your home, I make sure your pet has plenty of food and fresh water, as well as clean bedding. I spend time playing, petting, brushing, and/or walking your pet, whatever you and they would like. In our home, we have a fenced-in backyard and a friendly Bichon Frise who loves other dogs and cats. Let me know if your pet requires medication administration or any special instructions, any I am able to accommodate that.
“Susan was great! She kept us informed and sent many pictures. She and her family kept our pups happy and well entertained. Thanks for taking such great care of our golden girls!”

“Iryna was fantastic. Will use her again as often as she is available. Her communication was phenomenal, she treated Midas with so much love like one of her own pet. I really appreciate her, and feel so lucky to Have found her.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Gardner
Great team! Both husband and wife clearly love taking care of pets. Excellent communication and care. First time using their services, 2nd time using Rover. Peace of mind rating is 110% from the get go working with these folks, never once did I worry that our pup was missing us at all! Pepper was happy to see us and happy to be back home but you can tell she had a great time while we were doing boring stuff like fishing and 5 hour ATV rides in the Rockies for a week. Book these guys, clearly love what they do and do what they say. I’d give 6 stars if it went that high.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
