About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 years old and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats, and I currently have four dogs of my own, so I’ve always been surrounded by animals. I work at a dog daycare in Lawrence, where I care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. I supervise playgroups, feed dogs, give medications when needed, and make sure they’re safe and having a good time. Working there has given me experience with all kinds of dogs and taught me how important it is to pay attention to each pet’s individual needs. I’m also experienced with cats and am happy to care for both friendly, outgoing cats and the more shy, independent ones. I recently graduated from high school and will be starting my pre-veterinary studies at JCCC this fall. My dream is to become a veterinarian! My boyfriend, Cameron, is 20 and helps me with pet sitting. He loves animals just as much as I do and has plenty of experience with them. He helped train our German Shepherd from puppyhood and grew up with several cats, so he’s comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I just like to let everyone know that Cameron may accompany me on visits or overnight stays. We both genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and we’ll make sure your pets are loved and well cared for while you’re away. I work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I’m available before work, during my breaks, and after work. So I am able to check your pets every 4-5 hours. I also have full availability on weekends and Mondays. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule, and I do my best to be flexible to meet your pet’s needs. When I’m caring for your pet in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress free as possible. Whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or plenty of cuddles, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’d love the chance to meet you and your pets! About: I am the perfect boarding option if you're looking to get away. I’m currently working a hybrid arrangement so I am home Mondays and Fridays. We’re typically here most weekends but do go out of town every now and then, so just keep an eye on my calendar and I will do my best to keep it updated. I have been around dogs my entire life and can't imagine my life without one (or two)! They are an extension of my family and are treated as such. Rest-assured, your dogs will be loved here and get to play with our 12 year old Terrier and our 7 year old Austrian Pinscher. We have a large fenced yard and LOTS of toys and nearby trails where I'll take our dogs and yours for walks several times a day. I do allow pets on furniture and to sleep in our bed if that's what they're used to. If your dog plays well with others they will fit in perfectly here! I’m currently working from home 2 days a week so typically always home during those days to care for your pups! They will get lots of outdoor breaks and at least one walk while I’m home. We treat your dog(s) like our own. They’re allowed on our furniture and can sleep in it beds if that’s what they’re used to. We also have a large fenced yard for plenty of bathroom breaks and exercise.

About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! If I have 2 weeks or more advanced notice I can make arrangements to be able to check in more frequently. o o o o o o o o o o I love interacting with the pets and getting to see them get more comfortable with me. I am very comunicative and willing to ask questions.

About: Dog sitter/ walker since childhood, one year of consistent dog walking/ sitting. Im a very attentive and kind person, with experience handing and caring for just about every type of animal, as well as age range. I have maintained accurate records of pet behavior and health for owner, adapt quickly to individual pet needs, and demonstrate flexibility in care approaches for pets wellbeing in physical and mental needs. Im currently a full time student, with an especially available and flexible schedule during the summer. I am always happy to look after your little angels. About: I have had dogs my entire life and seriously don't know a life without them. I have two stubborn, little dachshunds who think they're in charge most of the time. They also have two human sisters who they are very overprotective of (they’re 8 years old and 1 year old). My oldest dachshund had surgery for IVDD a few years ago so I am familiar with administering oral medication and providing needed crate rest. I have experience in taking care of puppies all the way up to the more cranky and older dogs. My husband and I work opposite schedules so there will always be someone home with your pup. I'm responsible, reliable, and I promise to treat your fur babies as if they were my own! For boarding, the amount of time your dog is left alone will be very minimal since my husband and I work opposite schedules. I have my dogs to take care of too so I’m used to caring for pets. For drop in visits, I can only do so before 7:30am and after 5pm, unless it’s a weekend. My availability can vary on weekends so just reach out and I’ll see if I can help! I have a fenced in yard for your pets to play in and go potty. I’m also able to crate them if necessary. I will feed your pets separately from mine so there are no altercations.

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, starting with fostering puppies through senior dogs. I’m experienced with different temperaments, routines, and basic care like feeding, walks, and medications. My neighbors trust me to watch their pets when they’re away, and I always make sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and cherished. I treat every dog like my own and prioritize their happiness and well-being. My schedule is pretty flexible, and I do my best to accommodate last-minute bookings when possible! I’m available most weekdays and weekends, especially mornings and evenings. I treat every pet like they’re my own. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand every pet has different needs and responsibilities, so I focus on patience and making them feel safe.

About: I have had dogs in my life for more than 25 years. I have adopted and fostered a variety of pets, including a couple with trauma in their past. All of our experiences have been positive and we have forged great bonds. I have been through dog training and have experience with administering medications. We have a roomy home and a nice backyard for play etc. Our household is low key and we are very flexible. I am happy yo come to your home as well, I understand that can be more comfortable for your pets. I have experience working with pets that are not my own, you can be confident that I have seen it all, nothing upsets me! I work a part time job, and also have a home-based business, with lots of flexibility in my schedule. My husband is retired, he is my backup so coverage is not an issue. In your home, I follow the guidelines you establish. If something unexpected comes up, I get in touch with you or use my discretion (depending on urgency and situation). Since I have raised my own children, owned multiple dogs, have worked in Elder Care, and now work as a Nanny, handling crazy things and responding to true emergencies is part of my skill set. In my own home, we have a relaxed routine, and we have time to spend with our doggie guests. We have created a calming environment to help manage any separate anxiety or stress. (We do not currently have our own pets, sadly)

About: I've been lucky enough to take care of homes and pets in lots of different places, like California, Oregon, and even other countries. All that experience has helped me become really good at providing reliable and loving care for both pets and their people. I’m really good at going with the flow and can easily change my schedule to fit what a pet needs. Whether it’s walking the dog early in the morning, playing with them in the afternoon, or feeding them at night, I’m always flexible and ready to adjust. I always do exactly what my clients ask me to do, whether it’s about feeding their pet on time, giving them medicine, or teaching them good behavior. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats most of my life! Friends and family rely on me for great pet sitting, cuddles, tons of playtime! I’m free for most of the summer besides helping out at my grandmas office or running errands when asked! Taking adventures with my own pup most of the time! In my home I have a cat and a German shepherd puppy! They typically eat at 5 am, go outside after 20-30 minutes after meal time. I will cuddle with both of them on the couch and play fetch with my pup until I do daily activities such as cleaning, etc. I take breaks to let my pup outside and take her on a walk if it’s a decent temperature outside. I also help take care of my grandmas pups as well, bunch of cuddly pups it’s like a dream come true. I work commands with my pup often throughout the day, walking around with a treat bag. I always check for ticks on each dog after they’ve been outside it’s summer! They like to come out more often now. I will always ask of a pets diet regimen, such as their foods, allergies, favorite treats, if they have sensitive stomachs, or if they are fully vaccinated! I also have a car that has pet covers on the seat because of my fur baby who loves car rides. I will ask what your pets schedule looks like such as feeding times, and bathroom breaks.

About: I grew up around dogs and have always had a love for caring for animals. About: I have been working for a dog boarding and daycare facility for about 2 years now. I have learned lots about dog behavior and how to interact with lots of different personalities- and I am still learning every day! I have experience in administering medications and would love to meet your pup! I currently work full-time caring for pets at a daycare facility, typically working either 6-1 or 1-7 Tuesday through Saturday. Fully available on Sunday and Monday! I have my own pup who is fixed and very friendly! I can bring him along if you want your dog to have any socialization or burn extra energy, but I am also more than happy to focus on your pet!

About: I grew up taking care of puppies and rescues with my mom, and then moved into helping at a shelter while I was in college. As a grad student and current renter, I can’t have pets of my own so am glad to have the chance to get some cuddles in with yours. I'm happy to work with dogs of all ages and sizes and follow direction well if you are working with any training techniques. I have a soft spot for older dogs in particular and am also happy to look after any plants. I currently attend KU as a grad student where I teach two days a week and am focused on finishing my thesis this semester. I have a fairly flexible schedule and so can maintain a consistent routine for most pets while you’re gone. I’ve traveled a lot and been fortunate to be a guest in many people’s home. I pride myself on being respectful and leaving a house at least as good as I found it. I also try to prioritize pet comfort since I'm a guest in their home too. I try to let them lead interactions so they have a chance to warm up on their own level. I'm also happy to respect household rules and uphold the boundaries the pets are used to (ie., if they're not allowed on certain furniture). If you have any plants that need care while you're away, I love leaning into my green thumb too.

About: I have had dogs since I was born, from chihuahuas to labradors. Over the years I have taken care of friends and family's various animals, pet sitting, dog walking, and even helping groom them. I love all animals and believe all animals should be loved! I especially love taking care of senior animals, and make sure to care for them at their level. Im very good with time management and routines, making sure your animals are always cared for on time and in their routine. I also love taking care of puppies. I love playtime, walks, and ensuring your puppies don't tear down the house! All pets should be healthy, happy, and active. I will ensure your fur baby gets the best care while thriving in a safe, loving environment. Im currently in collage starting my Junior Year, when Im not in classes I am available, both morning and night, and usually free on the weekends. About: I have had MANY pets in my life! I’ve been an animal lover since I was a kid and I even volunteered at the zoo as a teenager. Growing up with dogs made it an easy decision to adopt a deaf pitbull almost 8 years ago, who my husband and I lost this summer to cancer. We miss her SO much, and while I have dog and house sat in others homes for almost 10 years now, I am looking forward to offering boarding in my home. We also have a formerly diabetic cat at home so I have experience taking care of pets of all ages and abilities. I live in a 3 bedroom home that is only 5 minutes from my work. I work in education so my days are pretty long during the week but I am able to provide restroom breaks throughout the day. On the weekends I might go out to eat or explore but ultimately I LOVE to be a homebody, especially if I have an excuse (a furry friend) I take pet care and safety VERY seriously. As a former pit bull mom, I understand how challenging finding people who take safety and trust seriously can be. In my home I will always provide a safe space for animals - both physically and emotionally. I won’t ever force your pet to socialize or play, and I will follow their lead and comfort level in order to build trust with them. I have both medium and large sized dog crates, plenty of blankets, and pet beds as well as the ability to allow animals on the furniture. I do not have a fenced in back yard so I will take them out for potty breaks on their leash and on walks around our neighborhood or to a park depending on your preference. I know my neighborhood well and will always put your pets safety first!
