About: I am the perfect boarding option if you're looking to get away. I’m currently working a hybrid arrangement so I am home Mondays and Fridays. We’re typically here most weekends but do go out of town every now and then, so just keep an eye on my calendar and I will do my best to keep it updated. I have been around dogs my entire life and can't imagine my life without one (or two)! They are an extension of my family and are treated as such. Rest-assured, your dogs will be loved here and get to play with our 12 year old Terrier and our 7 year old Austrian Pinscher. We have a large fenced yard and LOTS of toys and nearby trails where I'll take our dogs and yours for walks several times a day. I do allow pets on furniture and to sleep in our bed if that's what they're used to. If your dog plays well with others they will fit in perfectly here! I’m currently working from home 2 days a week so typically always home during those days to care for your pups! They will get lots of outdoor breaks and at least one walk while I’m home. We treat your dog(s) like our own. They’re allowed on our furniture and can sleep in it beds if that’s what they’re used to. We also have a large fenced yard for plenty of bathroom breaks and exercise.

About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 and I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and cats, and I currently have four dogs and one cat of my own, so I’ve always been around animals. I work at a dog daycare in Lawrence, where I get to work with all kinds of dogs. I help with playgroups, feeding, medications, and making sure everyone is safe and doing well. I’m also comfortable with cats, including cats that are a little shy or like to keep to themselves. I recently graduated high school and just started at JCCC. I’m taking my prerequisites there and hopefully will eventually transfer to K-State and continue working toward my goal of becoming a veterinarian! My boyfriend, Cameron, is 20 and helps me with pet sitting. He loves animals too and has a lot of experience with them. He helped train our German Shepherd from a puppy and grew up with several cats, so he’s comfortable around both dogs and cats. I just like to let everyone know that Cameron may come with me for visits or overnight stays. We both really enjoy being around animals and will take great care of your pets while you’re away! I work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I’m available before work, during my breaks, and after work. So I am able to check your pets every 4-5 hours. I also have full availability on weekends and Mondays. I do my best to be flexible to meet your pet’s needs !! When I’m caring for your pet in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress free as possible. Whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or plenty of cuddles, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own! I’d love the chance to meet you and your pets! About: I grew up on a farm taking care of a wide variety of animals, and have a senior husky of my own who is my family. Compassionate care and enrichment is my specialty - exploring sniff spots, play time, having a calm demeanor, and understanding animal behavior is essential to ensure they are happy and healthy! I have logged over 500+ hours as a wildlife rehabber, which includes caring for a variety of animals with different needs and diets, administering medication, and even tube feeding the young so they can eventually be placed back into their natural habitat. Originally from Topeka, I've volunteered extensively at Helping Hands Humane Society and now at the Lawrence Humane Society, spending time in the cat and dog socialization areas. Pets are our family. Whether your dog loves long adventures, leisurely walks, or simply relaxing at home, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pet is being treated with the same care and attention I'd give my own. I work a remote job which means I have flexibility to take care of your pet(s) throughout the day, and of course flexibility in the evenings and weekends. I am highly active and take advantage of getting steps in, and what better way to do that than with a furry friend (or two)! I currently do not offer in-home care at this time due to limited space. However, I am available to visit your home for check-ins and walks.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life (I’m 60) except for the last 7 years. I love loving on sweet animals. I’ve had dogs and cats, puppies and kittens, big dogs and little dogs. Love them all! I work full time but can work remotely, if necessary. Otherwise, I’m home most of the time. I have a fenced backyard that is small. My home is a single story. I could also pet sit in the pets own home so they are familiar with their surroundings. My yard is fenced and I don’t currently have any pets living in the home. Your pet would get all of my attention. I’m easy going and patient and adaptable to your pet’s needs.

About: Dog sitter/ walker since childhood, one year of consistent dog walking/ sitting. Im a very attentive and kind person, with experience handing and caring for just about every type of animal, as well as age range. I have maintained accurate records of pet behavior and health for owner, adapt quickly to individual pet needs, and demonstrate flexibility in care approaches for pets wellbeing in physical and mental needs. Im currently a full time student, with an especially available and flexible schedule during the summer. I am always happy to look after your little angels. About: My sister runs kennels of all types of animals, i’ve gained so many experiences from her to bring proper care to your (fur) children ! i currently work part time as a barista, and i love animals so much so why not fit them into all of my free time! i have a big fenced yard that we keep clean, i have big pet beds and 3 different watering stations at my house. I am very good at reading animal language and have a certain knack for taking care of animals!

About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! If I have 2 weeks or more advanced notice I can make arrangements to be able to check in more frequently. o o o o o o o o o o I love interacting with the pets and getting to see them get more comfortable with me. About: Hi I’m Lillian! I have always loved caring for animals since I was a young child. My family and I have owned and lovingly care for 3 dogs, 4 cats, and a horse. I have 6 years of experience working as a certified veterinarian assistant and kennel technician. I am currently working full time at Pleasant Valley Vet Clinic as a veterinary assistant. As an employee, I have been responsible for walking dogs, cleaning kennels, feeding animals, setting up, assisting, and cleaning up after appointments and surgeries, bathing animals, trimming their nails, ear care, and de-worming! I can provide updates, pictures, and FaceTime calls as much as you need, and I don’t mind putting in some extra work around your house too! I know it’s important to you to find someone who will love your pet as much as you do, and someone who will make your pet feel special. Because of this, I only accept one job at a time so that you pet will receive all of the attention and care they need. Before I take a job, I ask that we meet and go over all of your expectations, so that your pet can get the best care they deserve. I want us both to have a successful experience! Please note that in my professional line of work as a mortician, strict time lines are not a good fit, as I can not plan when I am/am not needed. If your pet has a strict scheduled timeline, we probably won’t be a good match! But if your pets needs are flexible, I will stick to their typical schedule as much as possible as making them comfortable is my number one priority! I want to fit your pets needs! Whatever that is, I’ll go above and beyond to make sure both your pet, and you, are comfortable.

About: I have been dog and cat sitting since middle school! I live in Oklahoma and Kansas and do Rover in both for half the year. I have a bigger dog and smaller cat of my own at home but not in Kansas. I volunteer at the Lawrence Humane Society and love all types of animals!! I’m currently in school but am available most hours of everyday. I don’t have many other obligations during the weekdays so I am very flexible with timing! I am willing to work with whatever the owner would like. I am definitely willing to spend the night if necessary and can let out however often you would like.

About: I have worked at a dog boarding and daycare facility where I cared for all kinds of dogs with different energy levels. I have also volunteered at an animal shelter where I walked high energy dogs. I love taking care of and being around dogs and have watched family dogs for years. I also cared for my personal dog for many years. I currently work a part time job so I have lots of time to take care of of your furry family members!! I am available all day Tuesday and Thursday as well as Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings. I definitely prefer walking your pups in morning or evenings to avoid the hot pavement. I do not offer dog sitting. For dog walking I am familiar and comfortable with walking high energy or reactive dogs as long as that is communicated. I also know the signs of heat stroke, aggression, and bloat due to my time working in a doggy daycare. If you choose to trust me to car for your pet, their safety will always be my top priority.

About: I have taken care of dogs, from small but mighty Shibu Inu's, to big but nothing but calm Pitbulls. For what feels like most of my life. I know many different kinds of enrichment activities to keep the pups purr-feclty stimulated. As a person who is currently working part-time, I prioritize regular check-in with my furry friends, the pet's well-being remains the most important part of the job. I have a fenced yard and a pool, but they will have a round of clock check- ins and care, with enough time to let them still be dog's. When it is in the client's home, there will be always, attentive care in the familiar surroundings of their own home, giving you peace of mind while you're away.
