About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 and have been around animals my whole life. I’ve had both dogs and cats growing up, and I currently have four dogs of my own, so I’m very used to different personalities and routines. I work at a local dog daycare in Lawrence where I handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I have a lot of hands on experience with feeding, supervising play, and giving medications. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I’m happy to be flexible when needed! when I’m in a client’s home I just try to keep everything as normal as possible for the pet. I follow their usual routine, feeding schedule, walks, and whatever else they need. I give them lots of attention and make sure they’re comfortable while you’re gone. I’m also used to giving meds if needed. I treat their home with respect and their pets like my own.

About: I have been around dogs for my entire life and am familiar with both the ups and downs of pet care. My family and I have fostered dogs frequently so I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I love being around dogs, playing with them, and making sure that they are well-loved. I am currently a student at the University 5 days a week but I enjoy caring for animals in between classes and love to spend time with them as I do homework and assignments. I am able to stay overnight if needed. I am familiar with using crates as well as shock collars to correct behavior. I am also familiar with harnesses and safely walking them on the leash.

About: I’ve owned pets all my life and have house sitting and pet sitting for over 5 years. I’ve always had a strong love for animals and cannot wait to meet your pets! As a vet assistant in school to be a veterinary technician, I am able to provide extra experience on administering medications, senior care, special needs pets, house breaking puppies, basic obedience training, and so much more! I cannot wait to meet your pets and provide the best care for them while you are away. I currently do not work a set schedule, but I usually work 3-4 days a week sometime between Monday through Friday, from 7AM-6PM. My schedule is made up in advance so I can tell you my availability but the days I have off is usually not the same week for week. Depending on the service: I offer frequent potty breaks, daily exercise/walks, routine meal times, and overall care for your pet and your home. If there’s any extra chores or precautions you would like me to take then feel free to ask as my goal is to provide you the most peace in mind while you are away.

About: I am the perfect boarding option if you're looking to get away. I’m currently working a hybrid arrangement so I am home Mondays and Fridays. We’re typically here most weekends but do go out of town every now and then, so just keep an eye on my calendar and I will do my best to keep it updated. I have been around dogs my entire life and can't imagine my life without one (or two)! They are an extension of my family and are treated as such. Rest-assured, your dogs will be loved here and get to play with our 12 year old Terrier and our 7 year old Austrian Pinscher. We have a large fenced yard and LOTS of toys and nearby trails where I'll take our dogs and yours for walks several times a day. I do allow pets on furniture and to sleep in our bed if that's what they're used to. If your dog plays well with others they will fit in perfectly here! I’m currently working from home 2 days a week so typically always home during those days to care for your pups! They will get lots of outdoor breaks and at least one walk while I’m home. We treat your dog(s) like our own. They’re allowed on our furniture and can sleep in it beds if that’s what they’re used to. We also have a large fenced yard for plenty of bathroom breaks and exercise.

About: We have both cared for pets our entire life times and have experience pet sitting for friends and neighbors dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. We like to go to the park in nice weather and go on walks at least once per day. Puppies in our house can have their own space, or can bond with our two huskies. We can follow your dogs regular routine, and provide them with the love and comfort they need. We can crate, or they can roam our “dog proof” house freely. Dogs are allowed on furniture, and we are known to let snuggles jump up into our bed. We have a tiled living room and wood floor kitchen where we spend most of our time, but we have several little rugs for comfort. We will happily accommodate your puppy’s favorite comfort items. We are both working full time regularly so potty breaks will be outside of a 9-5 work schedule outside of holidays. We do keep cameras in the house to keep an eye on everyone while at work. We have a snuggles only way of handling behavioral issues. We find that most issues are due to a human not understanding a pet’s communication style. We try to keep your pets schedule and make them feel at home.

About: I have been working for a dog boarding and daycare facility for about a year and a half now! I have learned lots about dog behavior and how to interact with lots of different personalities- and I am still learning every day! I have experience in administering medications and would love to meet your pup! I currently work full-time caring for pets at a daycare facility, typically working either 6-1 or 1-7 Tuesday through Saturday. Fully available on Sunday and Monday! I have my own pup who is fixed and very friendly! I can bring him along if you want your dog to have any socialization or burn extra energy, but I am also more than happy to focus on your pet!

About: I have always loved being around dogs since I was a kid. Whether it was friends, family or neighbors I enjoyed taking care of their pets and making sure the got the exercise they deserve. While in college, I no longer have a pet to look after everyday, but at home I would feed my dogs in the morning and evening and walk them around 3:30pm. I am a very experienced dog walker who’s met dogs of all size. I am no stranger to dogs who like to pull ahead or drag behind.

About: I have grew up with dogs all my life, love animals, and am currently a pre law major at Washburn. I have worked at an animal shelter for over a year, caring for cats and dogs there, and volunteered there for several summers. I am used to dogs of all sizes, and especially love big dogs! I am a student who works part time, so I can spend the night and do two walks a day as needed. Can also just do walks or drop in visits! Will always make sure your prts are taken care of. Leash on at all times if outside, and make sure no outside doors are open too long.

About: I am a huge dog lover! I can walk, watch, play and do all the things to get your pup out of the house and moving around! I’m currently a college student studying Biology so this is just a little side gig that I do when I’m not studying or in class! I have a two story house where I can take dogs as well as access to a park near by! Whatever you need I can make do!

About: I have always been known to my parents friends and neighbors and the person to call if you need help watching your animal. I’ve been pet sitting dogs specifically for just over 4 years but before that I watched everything from cats, to fish, and hamsters. I’ve dealt with numerous dogs suffering from seizures along with many recovering from surgery’s so I know how to handle almost everything. I’m currently a college student. I have some Morning commitments however I can be home with your pet for most of the day, or stop by at any point during the day to walk or let them out. I have an english golden retriever myself so there is another dog within my house, however he’s very friendly with other dogs. We don’t use a crate in our house and the dogs are allowed on the furniture but I’m happy to follow whatever you prefer for your own animal.

About: I have had dogs in my life for more than 25 years. I have adopted and fostered a variety of pets, including a couple with trauma in their past. All of our experiences have been positive and we have forged great bonds. I have been through dog training and have experience with administering medications. We have a roomy home and a nice backyard for play etc. Our household is low key and we are very flexible. I am happy yo come to your home as well, I understand that can be more comfortable for your pets. I have experience working with pets that are not my own, you can be confident that I have seen it all, nothing upsets me! I work a part time job, and also have a home-based business, with lots of flexibility in my schedule. My husband is retired, he is my backup so coverage is not an issue. In your home, I follow the guidelines you establish. If something unexpected comes up, I get in touch with you or use my discretion (depending on urgency and situation). Since I have raised my own children, owned multiple dogs, have worked in Elder Care, and now work as a Nanny, handling crazy things and responding to true emergencies is part of my skill set. In my own home, we have a relaxed routine, and we have time to spend with our doggie guests. We have created a calming environment to help manage any separate anxiety or stress. (We do not currently have our own pets, sadly)

About: I have owned pets all my life from dogs and cats to ferrets and lizards. I am currently studying animal science in pursue of a degree in veterinary medicine. I have trained puppies and volunteered at shelters so I have been exposed to lots of different dog breeds. Last summer I worked side by side with a Vet and gained lots of experience with many animals. My schedule is very flexible considering I am a college student and only work when I am home on breaks. I am working at a vet clinic and getting experience in that field. I am also available on weekends and capable of working with you to put the needs of your pet first. My dogs have a fenced in yard so during this time of year they spend a lot of time outside and playing fetch. We have crate trained them as puppies so I can accommodate to any means necessary.

Having the medical background I do, watching elderly/ health conscious pets is something I love doing! I’m familiar with nearly every specific medical treatment from mega esophagus, to cushings, to diabetes and more! Not to mention, if anything in the event goes wrong or something health wise happens to your pet. I have 24hr 365 days a year access to an animal hospital & many er veterinarians.
