About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 and I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and cats, and I currently have four dogs and one cat of my own, so I’ve always been around animals. I work at a dog daycare in Lawrence, where I get to work with all kinds of dogs. I help with playgroups, feeding, medications, and making sure everyone is safe and doing well. I’m also comfortable with cats, including cats that are a little shy or like to keep to themselves. I recently graduated high school and just started at JCCC. I’m taking my prerequisites there and hopefully will eventually transfer to K-State and continue working toward my goal of becoming a veterinarian! My boyfriend, Cameron, is 20 and helps me with pet sitting. He loves animals too and has a lot of experience with them. He helped train our German Shepherd from a puppy and grew up with several cats, so he’s comfortable around both dogs and cats. I just like to let everyone know that Cameron may come with me for visits or overnight stays. We both really enjoy being around animals and will take great care of your pets while you’re away! I work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I’m available before work, during my breaks, and after work. So I am able to check your pets every 4-5 hours. I also have full availability on weekends and Mondays. I do my best to be flexible to meet your pet’s needs !! When I’m caring for your pet in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress free as possible. Whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or plenty of cuddles, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own! I’d love the chance to meet you and your pets! About: I am the perfect boarding option if you're looking to get away. I’m currently working a hybrid arrangement so I am home Mondays and Fridays. We’re typically here most weekends but do go out of town every now and then, so just keep an eye on my calendar and I will do my best to keep it updated. I have been around dogs my entire life and can't imagine my life without one (or two)! They are an extension of my family and are treated as such. Rest-assured, your dogs will be loved here and get to play with our 12 year old Terrier and our 7 year old Austrian Pinscher. We have a large fenced yard and LOTS of toys and nearby trails where I'll take our dogs and yours for walks several times a day. I do allow pets on furniture and to sleep in our bed if that's what they're used to. If your dog plays well with others they will fit in perfectly here! I’m currently working from home 2 days a week so typically always home during those days to care for your pups! They will get lots of outdoor breaks and at least one walk while I’m home. We treat your dog(s) like our own. They’re allowed on our furniture and can sleep in it beds if that’s what they’re used to. We also have a large fenced yard for plenty of bathroom breaks and exercise.

About: I have taken care of my family's own dogs and neighbors' dogs since I was 14. I have experience training obedience and I raised and trained my own puppy at 17. I have experience with various training methods including R+, and I have extensive experience with high energy dogs. I have a flexible schedule, so I can be there to take care of animals while you are at work or on vacation multiple times a day. All pets are beloved companions and will be cared for as my own pets. About: Hi I’m Lillian! I have always loved caring for animals since I was a young child. My family and I have owned and lovingly care for 3 dogs, 4 cats, and a horse. I have 6 years of experience working as a certified veterinarian assistant and kennel technician. I am currently working full time at Pleasant Valley Vet Clinic as a veterinary assistant. As an employee, I have been responsible for walking dogs, cleaning kennels, feeding animals, setting up, assisting, and cleaning up after appointments and surgeries, bathing animals, trimming their nails, ear care, and de-worming! I pride myself in being punctual, professional, compassionate, and highly responsible. I would love the opportunity to walk your dogs or house-sit for your pets as well. I currently work 4 days a week as a veterinary assistant, but have 1 hour lunch breaks to come let out your furry family member! I am very available outside of work. About: I have been taking care of animals for most of my life! I am new to the Rover community, but I’ve owned and fostered dogs for 10 years now. I have experience pet sitting family and friend’s dogs and cats, as well as experience with disabled dogs. I am constantly around animals and commit myself to taking care of them. I am comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, behavior types, and ages. When I come to take care of, walk, and play with your pet, I dedicate my full time to loving them and being present with them. I have one dog of my own, an overweight husky named Haley we just recently adopted to help her live a healthier life! I work PRN as a phlebotomist at KU Med, so I create my own schedule a month in advance. I can be off by 11am if given enough notice, so mid-day walks and drop-ins can fit in perfectly. I work 2-3 days a week, so on off days I am available all day! I am able to accommodate whatever your pet needs in a safe manner. We can talk about whatever that entails before you book with me so everyone feels comfortable!

About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! If I have 2 weeks or more advanced notice I can make arrangements to be able to check in more frequently. o o o o o o o o o o I love interacting with the pets and getting to see them get more comfortable with me. About: I grew up on a farm taking care of a wide variety of animals, and have a senior husky of my own who is my family. Compassionate care and enrichment is my specialty - exploring sniff spots, play time, having a calm demeanor, and understanding animal behavior is essential to ensure they are happy and healthy! I have logged over 500+ hours as a wildlife rehabber, which includes caring for a variety of animals with different needs and diets, administering medication, and even tube feeding the young so they can eventually be placed back into their natural habitat. Originally from Topeka, I've volunteered extensively at Helping Hands Humane Society and now at the Lawrence Humane Society, spending time in the cat and dog socialization areas. Pets are our family. Whether your dog loves long adventures, leisurely walks, or simply relaxing at home, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pet is being treated with the same care and attention I'd give my own. I work a remote job which means I have flexibility to take care of your pet(s) throughout the day, and of course flexibility in the evenings and weekends. I am highly active and take advantage of getting steps in, and what better way to do that than with a furry friend (or two)! I currently do not offer in-home care at this time due to limited space. However, I am available to visit your home for check-ins and walks.

About: I have worked at a dog boarding and daycare facility where I cared for all kinds of dogs with different energy levels. I have also volunteered at an animal shelter where I walked high energy dogs. I love taking care of and being around dogs and have watched family dogs for years. I also cared for my personal dog for many years. I currently work a part time job so I have lots of time to take care of of your furry family members!! I am available all day Tuesday and Thursday as well as Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings. I definitely prefer walking your pups in morning or evenings to avoid the hot pavement. I do not offer dog sitting. For dog walking I am familiar and comfortable with walking high energy or reactive dogs as long as that is communicated. I also know the signs of heat stroke, aggression, and bloat due to my time working in a doggy daycare. If you choose to trust me to car for your pet, their safety will always be my top priority.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats most of my life! Friends and family rely on me for great pet sitting, cuddles, tons of playtime! I’m free for most of the summer besides helping out at my grandmas office or running errands when asked! Taking adventures with my own pup most of the time! In my home I have a cat and a German shepherd puppy! They typically eat at 5 am, go outside after 20-30 minutes after meal time. I will cuddle with both of them on the couch and play fetch with my pup until I do daily activities such as cleaning, etc. I take breaks to let my pup outside and take her on a walk if it’s a decent temperature outside. I also help take care of my grandmas pups as well, bunch of cuddly pups it’s like a dream come true. I work commands with my pup often throughout the day, walking around with a treat bag. I always check for ticks on each dog after they’ve been outside it’s summer! They like to come out more often now. I will always ask of a pets diet regimen, such as their foods, allergies, favorite treats, if they have sensitive stomachs, or if they are fully vaccinated! I also have a car that has pet covers on the seat because of my fur baby who loves car rides. I will ask what your pets schedule looks like such as feeding times, and bathroom breaks.
