“We were pretty nervous about having someone in our home to take care of our pets, and have always relied on boarding with out vet, in the past. Shanelle is the first person who we have ever had housesit with our pets. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats. We have had her stay 2 or 3 times, and one time for over a week. She is wonderful! She is the sweetest, kindest person, and really seems to care about our home and our pets. Her fiance helps her from time to time and he is also very nice and reliable. Besides doing everything that was expected, she also made sure our newly planted grass was watered every day, and took our 9 month old puppy to her own home for a playdate with her own dogs. Our house was clean and in perfect order when we got home. We can't thank Shanelle enough for such a great experience, and we highly recommend her! We will have her stay again, for sure!”

About: Hi! I'm Kaysin. I've grown up with dogs in my home my entire life. I've been taking care of dogs for my family, friends, and neighbors since I was 10 years old. I have experience with different sizes of dogs from Pomeranians to Great Pyrenees. I've also cared for dogs of all different personalities, routines, ages, and I'm well versed basic care-taking procedures like walking, feeding, potty-breaks, medications (including injections), and of course, playing! I'm a big dog lover, and I'll make sure your pups feel loved and treasured while you're away! I'm currently a second year student at KU with a part time job in house cleaning as well. About: We love animals! We are a mother/adult son team who will be working together to make your pets feel loved and happy. We recently lost our dog of 16 years and miss having pets around. We have had several dogs and cats of our own over the years and have fostered and placed many more for adoption. We have experience with dogs as small as 4lbs, up to 80lbs, from puppies/kittens to seniors. You will receive frequent updates and pictures throughout the booking, and we are very responsive to texts and calls. My teammate Alex and I are currently working part-time, with alternating schedules, so there is always someone available to care for your pet. We provide frequent updates and pictures, so you never have to wonder what your pet is up to. DROP-IN VISITS: We will listen to and follow your instructions and preferences to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible. HOUSE SITTING in your home: We know pets are most comfortable in their own home, so we will listen to and follow your instructions and preferences to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible. We are healthy and active and try our best to meet the activity level of your pet. If you would like, we can visit a few times before the booking to ensure your pet is comfortable with us beforehand. With two of us working together, we can provide more frequent check-ins, meaning we can accommodate animals who do not like to be kenneled or left alone. We are able to administer medications. BOARDING in our home: Since we have no pets our own, yours will get all the attention, and no children to bother the senior dogs who just want to relax. We also do not accept more than one family's pets at a time, so no need to worry if your pet will get along with others. We have experience with anxious and reactive dogs as well. We encourage you to visit our home beforehand a few times so your pet is not confused and scared when you leave them for a few days. We have a completely fenced in yard, but dogs are never left out by themselves. With two of us working together, there is hardly a time when your pet will be left alone in the home, meaning we can accommodate animals who do not like to be kenneled. We will listen to and follow your instructions and preferences to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible. Cats will have their own room to chill in or can roam the house freely. We are able to administer medications. DOG WALKING: We can discuss your preferences for walking locations and times. About: I've trained service dogs and puppies. I've also cared for multi-animal (species and number) households and I've been doing so my whole life. Whether the dog is big or small, I'd love to help! Pet care is an integral part of my daily or weekly routine. I have ADHD that leans towards forgetting to do stuff for myself. To counter that, I connect my human activities with my pet activities. Like "I fed the dogs and cats" and then the next sentence is "Oh! I will feed myself too!" I have crate trained dogs before and can reinforce that training to ensure that dogs feel safe and secure in their resting area. I like to familiarize myself with their habits. For instance, where does your dog like to go for a walk? How do they exercise? What's their favorite treat and when do they usually get them? Do they like doing a particular activity? This is my client's home and with that it is my client's pet's home. I take that to heart and try to embed these habits into their daily routine so that they can be cared for well and in the way that they know.

About: Someone who currently owns a pet, I’m very much aware of how important it is to constantly ensure that they are being walked, and given time to do their necessities, fed, and taken out to do some exercise. I’ve also taken various amounts of time to train my dog in order to ensure that is educated, and overall friendly, when taken out in public. I’m currently a high school senior and in order for me to make this align with my schedule. I would be available to take care of any pets after three P.M. I live in Golden Valley in a very safe, community and area. I have my own fenced yard, which is big enough for any dog to roam around freely, and in case of being at someone else’s home, I would be insured to look at the area and find places to walk around in order for the dog to get. It’s exercise in.

Safety, comfort, and keeping your home environment stable are my top priorities. Because I already have a dog and two cats, my preference is to care for your pets directly in their own home. Overnight in-home sitting or drop-in visits allow your furry family members to stay in their familiar, comfortable surroundings with their normal routines completely uninterrupted. I know how important a calm, safe environment is for pets, and staying in their own space eliminates the stress of introducing them to a new territory or other animals. Whenever I am on walks or taking your dog out to local trails or parks, safety remains paramount. I always keep pets securely leashed during outdoor transitions and supervise every outdoor interaction closely to ensure a safe, fun, and reliable experience.
