About: For as long as I can remember, I have always been surrounded by pets. Growing up with at least four dogs constantly roaming the house, my love for pets is second to none. My secondary choice in school was to become a vet, but my love for people made me go Psychology/Counseling route. I just get a boost of energy whenever I am with pets (dogs and cats preferably). If anyone owns a snake in their home, I usually stay as far away as possible. Fear of snakes is an irrational fear of mine that will take some time to overcome. I am currently working three days shift a week and every other Saturday. I am home for over twenty hours of the day if I am not at work or at a scheduled appointment. I love pets so while they are in my care, I will treat them as if they are mine. Any recommendation that the family/owner makes, I will be respectful of it and do it to the best of my abilities.

“Lucy was amazing!!! We, unfortunately, had to fire the original sitter we hired and find an emergency replacement, from 1200 miles away. Lucy responded very quickly, advising she could only fulfill part of our needs, but was happy to do so. We found family and friends to compensate the uncovered time and hired Lucy. She wasn’t at our home for an hour before one of the dogs got sick. She promptly cleaned up the mess! Then I watched the cameras in tears and she kindly comforted and reassured him that it was okay, as he becomes nervous after having an accident in the house. She was very attentive to them, taking them out often and comforted them when their anxiety was getting the better of them. THANK YOU LUCY!! You helped this dog momma rest easy on our vacation, knowing you were there taking fantastic care of my fur babies!!!”

She also left our home spotless and went above and beyond to check on Meli one last time when our trip was slightly delayed.”

About: I walk my dogs an exhausting amount - average 6 miles a day (rain or shine). I’ve had both my dogs since they were puppies, so know all the stages of the dog life. I have no problem taking dogs on walk obviously, but also enjoy spending endless amount of time playing ball with them. I work remotely so my schedule is quite flexible. I have meetings (and actual work) from time to time but can move things around easily. I let my dogs, and any potential other dogs, free roam of my house and yard. The yard is fenced and have a dog door for them to come in when it’s too hot or cold. I don’t give them access when I’m not there though.
