About: I’ve been taking care of animals for years! I have lots of experience with different breeds and many different types of caregiving. Some of my experience includes watching two very active pit bull mix siblings. I would check in on the dogs 4+ times per day, take each one on a 2+ mile walk every day, and spend at least 1-2 hours of sit down time so they weren’t lonely. I watched those lovely dogs for 2-3 weeks at a time for numerous years! My most recent experience was taking care of Two english pointers, a rottweiler, and smaller mutt dog for 3 nights! Each dog had a separate feeding space and interactive form of eating. I made sure to follow their owners specific instructions and give the dogs lots of walks, outside time, and sit down time for 5+ hours a day! As well as the dogs I took care of two goats at that home as well! I am very capable of walking and pet sitting many different dogs. I have experience with smaller dogs like Mini poodles, to high energy large dogs like weimaraners. I will do my best to give your animals the love and care they deserve. I will make sure that they are healthy, safe, and most importantly happy! I pet sit in STL over the summer and Lawrence KS from August-May Between May-August I work part time at the Sunset Country club. Even with my work I should and will be able to schedule and give your pets the best of care that includes at least 3 or more check ins per day and walks twice or more a day, depending on their needs and your request. I do not work Mondays, which makes me more free! From August-May I am a full time student with a lot of free time to walk pets, stop in, watch them, and more! I care for pets to the best of my ability and give them the most love and care I am capable of! Between my two households, I have 2 dogs and recently one that passed. I take care of my pets and others pets to the best of my ability and want to ensure that your pets are cared for and you trust and are confident that they are healthy, safe, and most importantly, happy! I will always adjust to you and your pets needs, so please communicate openly and fully so I can do my best to give your pets the best!

About: As a seasoned pet owner and sitter, I love being a Rover sitter connecting pet parents in the Lawrence area! With a fenced backyard and a flexible schedule, your furry friend will have a safe and fun place to stay, whether it’s for the day or during your vacation. I specialize in caring for special needs and senior pets, offering tailored attention to ensure their comfort. Need some light training or a thorough brush-out? I’ve got you covered. Let’s make sure your pet feels right at home! I work 30 hours a week at a restaurant, but shifts are usually never longer than 8 hours. The rest of my time is spent at home studying to be a physical therapy assistant. I thoroughly enjoy having furry friends stay over and keep me company while I pursue my career goals and education. I'm usually up by 7am am every day, so early drop-offs before your work shift are no problem! I am BIG on communication while your pet is in my care. Our initial meeting will include a quick interview so I can learn your pet's schedule, typical behaviors, special care instructions, and play preferences. For boarding, I like to provide a daily recap text and even a few pictures so you can see your pet's level of comfort and care. If you are using my daycare services, I will take note of feeding and walking/outside times as well as other highlights to summarize at pick-up time. I'm a big cuddler who is also very respectful of pets who aren't. Animals are allowed anywhere with an open door and can sit or lay down on furniture (unless you've directed otherwise). All plants are high up and non-toxic. I have a large living room and kitchen with multiple spots for food and water that can be set for any pets who have trouble sharing. The tree-lined fence of my yard is six feet tall and wooden, helping deter even the most agile pet from jumping or digging their way out. You are welcome to bring any beds, blankets, toys, crates, food bowls, or any other item that will help make your pet feel at home.

About: I have had dogs in my home for almost my whole life. I have a pug, golden retriever, and a mutt that are all a couple years apart in age. For two years, I volunteered at a humane society where I walked and cared for dogs of all kinds. Senior, puppy, sick, I have a lot of experience and I would love to get more! I’m currently working at a golf course near Forest Lake. My schedule for work comes out weekly, so I’m unaware what my weeks look like well in advance. I don’t like to do this, but if your pups are able to be home for about 6-8, then this would be a great fit! Obviously I wouldn’t work every day of the week, so I will be available to give them my full attention. Your pups are my priority and I wouldn’t want them to feel uncomfortable with my wack work schedule in any way. My shifts will either be 6-2 or 2-9, or shorter. I prioritize respect for your space and routines. Whether your pet prefers potty breaks in a fenced yard or leashed walks, I’ll follow your preferences to keep them comfortable and safe.

That lifelong connection led me to volunteer at a local dog and cat shelter where I've gained even more experience with pets of all temperaments and needs. I treat every animal like a family and I willl give your pet loving care whether it's for a quick walk or an overnight stay. I have a very flexible schedule so I can fully prioritize pet care. My days naturally revolve around the animals I am caring for and I enjoy creating routine that suits their needs. My home, farm in the woods, is a dog paradise where they can relax, go for walks or play. In client's home, I'm respectful of their space and routines, I communicate with the owner, send updates and make sure the pet has all my attention.

About: I have taken care of friends neighbors dogs and cats. I have had to feed and take of my own dog for about 5 years now. I also have 2 cats that I take care of also. One of my cats is almost 8 so she is starting to show signs of old age. I truly know what it takes to take care of pets and how much exercise and quality time they need to be healthy and happy! About: I grew up on a farm taking care of a wide variety of animals, and now have a husky of my own who is part of my family. We love taking walks, hikes, and exploring the sniff spots at the park, so I understand how important exercise, enrichment, and routine are for pets. I also have experience volunteering in animal husbandry for a wildlife rehab center, so this is truly a passion and lifestyle for me. Pets are our family. Whether your dog loves long adventures, leisurely walks, or simply relaxing at home, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pet is being treated with the same care and attention I'd give my own. I work a remote job which means I have flexibility to take care of your pet(s) throughout the day, and of course flexibility in the evenings and weekends. I currently do not offer in-home care at this time due to limited space. However, I am available to visit your home for check-ins and walks.

About: I have had dogs in my life for more than 25 years. I have adopted and fostered a variety of pets, including a couple with trauma in their past. All of our experiences have been positive and we have forged great bonds. I have been through dog training and have experience with administering medications. We have a roomy home and a nice backyard for play etc. Our household is low key and we are very flexible. I am happy yo come to your home as well, I understand that can be more comfortable for your pets. I have experience working with pets that are not my own, you can be confident that I have seen it all, nothing upsets me! I work a part time job, and also have a home-based business, with lots of flexibility in my schedule. My husband is retired, he is my backup so coverage is not an issue. In your home, I follow the guidelines you establish. If something unexpected comes up, I get in touch with you or use my discretion (depending on urgency and situation). Since I have raised my own children, owned multiple dogs, have worked in Elder Care, and now work as a Nanny, handling crazy things and responding to true emergencies is part of my skill set. In my own home, we have a relaxed routine, and we have time to spend with our doggie guests. We have created a calming environment to help manage any separate anxiety or stress. (We do not currently have our own pets, sadly)

About: I have been caring for my own friends' and family members' pets for a long time, and have 3 pets of my own (a dog, cat and a bearded dragon). I am experienced and comfortable caring for a variety of different pets and have experience caring for senior animals. I will be working part-time starting in August, so I am looking for morning and/or evening dog walking, cat and dog sitting, and weekend care. I would prefer to care for pets in a client's home because I have pets of my own and would need to make sure all pets are happy with the arrangement and able to get along.

About: I have had pets my whole life. I also have volunteered at the local animal shelter in my hometown for the past 7 years, so I have plenty of experience in animal welfare. I am currently a college student with a flexible schedule, so I generally have a lot of time on my hands. This will give me plenty of time to take care of your pets! I am unable to keep pets in my household, so this will only allow me to take care of your pets through drop-in visits, house sitting, or dog walking.
