About: I have taken care of pets since I was 13 and house sat since I was 15!! I was also a kennel tech for a year! This included giving medication, bathing, feeding, and just plain old watching the pets! I know CPR for our fury friends too! I have two dogs of my own as well as four cats so I am completely comfortable with a variety. I am a college student working on my masters online while working another job as well. My schedule is pretty straight forward for me so pet care will fit well as long as I keep my calendar balanced. I am comfortable house sitting for both dogs and cats. I am more than capable of crating or letting pets out to potty. I usually keep treats on me anytime I care for a furry friend. When I walk animals, I usually go for 30 minutes to an hour so that they get the excercise needed. I also have bags for when they do their business on a walk.
“Lauren was great at taking pictures and updating us on little details of how our dog was. She spent time with her and did an amazing job. I will use her in the future!!”

About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 years old and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats and currently have four dogs of my own, so caring for pets has always been a huge part of my life. I currently work at a dog daycare in Lawrence, where I care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My job includes supervising playgroups, feeding, giving medications, monitoring behavior, and making sure every dog is safe and happy. Working with so many different dogs has taught me how important it is to treat every pet as an individual. I’m also very comfortable caring for cats. Whether your cat is outgoing and social or prefers their own space. I recently graduated high school and will be attending JCCC this fall to start my pre veterinary studies. My goal is to become a veterinarian! My boyfriend, Cameron, is 20 years old and helps me with pet sitting. He absolutely loves animals and has a lot of experience with them. He helped train our German Shepherd from the time he was a puppy and did an amazing job with him. He also grew up with several cats, so he’s very comfortable around both dogs and cats. I just like to be upfront that he may accompany me on visits or overnight stays. We’re both huge animal lovers and enjoy spending time with pets! I work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I’m available before work, during my breaks, and after work. I also have full availability on weekends and Mondays. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule, and I do my best to be flexible to meet your pet’s needs. When I’m caring for your pet in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. Whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or plenty of cuddles, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’d love the chance to meet you and your pets! Feel free to reach out with any questions or to set up a meet and greet.

About: I’ve grown up having multiple cats and dogs of various breeds. I love animals of all kinds and I know how to care for them. I work a full-time 8-5 job in an office but I am available for pet care any evening or full time on the weekends as well. I can also do check-ins before work, during my lunch break (12-1pm), or after 5. I’m great at following care instructions and I get along with every pet I’ve ever met! I’ll adjust to whatever specific care instructions you provide!
“I cannot say enough good things about Kyra. She provides the absolute best care for our pup & kitties. She’s incredibly attentive, responsive, and ALWAYS goes the extra mile to support our needs.”

About: Hi! I’m Emily, a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I grew up with dogs, have fostered many, and currently share my home with one very happy pup and a spacious, fully fenced-in yard perfect for playtime and sunbathing. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, overnight care, or just some TLC while you’re away, I provide a safe, loving environment tailored to their needs. I have experience with basic training and behavior modification, so I’m confident handling everything from energetic puppies to dogs who need a little extra patience. I’m all about enriching adventures—whether it’s a hike, a neighborhood stroll, or a game of fetch in the yard. As a bonus, I’m happy to give your dog a bath before heading home so they’re clean and cozy when they return to you! I have a flexible schedule and often work from home, which means your pup will have plenty of company and attention throughout the day. On the rare occasion I need to step into the office, I’m never gone long—I make sure to return within a couple of hours to check in, play, and care for your dog. Your pup’s comfort and routine are always my top priority! Your dog’s safety and comfort come first in my care. I provide a secure, loving environment with a large, fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor play and plenty of room to relax inside. I’m committed to creating a calm, consistent, and safe experience—because peace of mind matters for both you and your pup.

About: I have had many years of experience caring for my own pets, including feeding, walking, basic care, and putting them in a safe and loving space when I am with them. I currently don't work, but if I do eventually, it would be part-time so I will have a ton of time to watch your pets! I will treat your home and pets with respect while carefully following instructions in detail. I will communicate regularly with you with updates and photos about how your pets are doing! I will do all of this while keeping your space clean, calm, and consistent with your pet's routine.

“Emma has been doing drop in visits with our 3 dogs on multiple occasions and had done an exceptional job! We have an old, blind dog that is 14 and two others. She has built a nice relationship with our lab/ Rottweiler as he is nervous with new people. We will be utilizing her loving care on future drop ins. Thanks Emma!”

About: I've been lucky enough to take care of homes and pets in lots of different places, like California, Oregon, and even other countries. All that experience has helped me become really good at providing reliable and loving care for both pets and their people. I’m really good at going with the flow and can easily change my schedule to fit what a pet needs. Whether it’s walking the dog early in the morning, playing with them in the afternoon, or feeding them at night, I’m always flexible and ready to adjust. I always do exactly what my clients ask me to do, whether it’s about feeding their pet on time, giving them medicine, or teaching them good behavior. I know how important it is to keep things consistent for pets, so I try to make their routine as comfortable and familiar as possible.
About: I have taken care of my own dogs for over 10 years. I had a puppy that I walked, fed, trained ever since I was younger. I also currently have a senior dog that requires a lot of care and love. Even though it is tough as she gets older and moves slower, I always give her as much effort as I can to make sure she is comfortable and cared for. Dogs have my whole heart and I love taking care of them and letting them know they are loved! I currently work full time but am free in the evenings and some afternoons on weekdays. Also, I am free all mornings/afternoons on the weekends. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to run around and play in. I live in a quiet neighborhood, great for walks. I will make sure to be interactive and attentive and gets lots of time to play.
About: Hello my name is Quincie! I am an animal lover and I provide excellent care to cats and dogs. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats never not having at least one around. I have always taken care of my own pets but as far as other people’s pets I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for friends and family since I was about 10 years old. I also have experience with animals that have very high needs. I’ve had insane puppies that need lots of guidance and training, senior cats and dogs that need patience, pets with important medical needs, and I’ve even owned a cat with diabetes who needed insulin injections twice daily with strict eating schedules. Currently I am working at a doggy daycare and boarding facility in Lawrence Kansas. I recently moved here and am wanting to start pet sitting again! Currently I typically work 6:30am-1:30pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays so I am typically available after 1:30 especially if I can get a heads up. On Sundays I work from 12pm-5pm and am available before or after. I am off Wednesdays and Saturdays and am available most of the time. Please reach out if you have any scheduling questions. In clients home I will follow their exact instructions and use my best judgment. I understand that all pets and pet parents operate differently so I think it is best to do what your pet is used to while you are away especially with nervous pets.
About: As a seasoned pet owner and sitter, I’m excited to join Rover and connect with pet parents in the Lawrence area! With a fenced backyard and a flexible schedule, your furry friend will have a safe and fun place to stay, whether it’s for the day or during your vacation. I specialize in caring for special needs and senior pets, offering tailored attention to ensure their comfort. Need some light training or a thorough brush-out? I’ve got you covered. Let’s make sure your pet feels right at home! I work 30 hours a week at a restaurant, but shifts are usually never longer than 8 hours. The rest of my time is spent at home studying to be a physical therapy assistant and personal trainer. I thoroughly enjoy having furry friends stay over and keep me company while I pursue my career goals and education. I'm usually up by 6:30 am every day, so early drop-offs before your work shift are no problem! I am BIG on communication while your pet is in my care. Our initial meeting will include a quick interview so I can learn your pet's schedule, typical behaviors, special care instructions, and play preferences. For boarding, I like to provide a daily recap text and even a few pictures so you can see your pet's level of comfort and care. If you are using my daycare services, I will take note of feeding and walking/outside times as well as other highlights to summarize at pick-up time. I'm a big cuddler who is also very respectful of pets who aren't. Animals are allowed anywhere with an open door and can sit or lay down on furniture (unless you've directed otherwise). All plants are high up and non-toxic. I have a large living room and kitchen with multiple spots for food and water that can be set for any pets who have trouble sharing. The tree-lined fence of my yard is six feet tall and wooden, helping deter even the most agile pet from jumping or digging their way out. You are welcome to bring any beds, blankets, toys, crates, food bowls, or any other item that will help make your pet feel at home.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lawrence
We have used Savannah's services several times over the past few years. She is great to work with! Savannah is great at communicating with reports and photos about Tucker, she follows his routine and is very reliable. I also appreciate that she and her family live in Lawrence so, we can hire the same person each time and our dog loves that too! Thank you Savannah :)
I had a medical emergency and had to be admitted to the hospital. I had used Kyra previously so I called her last minute and she was able to take care of my fur babies. You don't know how much that calmed my nerves that she was able to take care of them. She does an amazing job and my dogs love her. I highly recomend her. Great job Kyra!

Sierra was great! On short notice, she was able to come over and hang out with my pups while I was gone most of the day. Sierra was communicative, reliable, and gave me peace of mind knowing they were being well cared for. I would highly recommend Sierra and will definitely book with Sierra again in the future!

I cannot recommend Iryna enough! Both my dog and my cat can be a bit wary around new people, but she was absolutely amazing with them. I was so incredibly impressed by how quickly my dog warmed up to her, and she was incredibly patient and gentle in building that trust. Her communication is top-notch, she replies quickly and is highly proactive. I really appreciated that she was quick to ask questions and bring things up if there was even the slightest cause for concern. It gave me total peace of mind and allowed me to actually relax while I was away. If you are looking for a sitter who is patient, attentive, and a fantastic communicator, she is the absolute best!

Emma has been doing drop in visits with our 3 dogs on multiple occasions and had done an exceptional job! We have an old, blind dog that is 14 and two others. She has built a nice relationship with our lab/ Rottweiler as he is nervous with new people. We will be utilizing her loving care on future drop ins. Thanks Emma!

Kelsie was an absolute dream to work with! Kelsie did weekly drop-in visits for me for 6+ months. My very shy and nervous dog loved her and I never had any concerns for his safety or happiness when he was in her care. She is communicative, flexible, and exceptionally trustworthy. I would highly recommend Kelsie to care for your fur babies!

Annicka was amazing with my dogs! She’s very responsible, caring, and loving towards my dogs. I loved the pictures she sent me and the her comments about their daily experience. I’m very grateful to have had such a great experience for more than 1 month of almost daily walks for the dogs.
