Pet care experience
Experienced Caregiver
I’ve been caring for animals all my life, cats ever since I could walk, and dogs since the age of 14 starting with my Yellow Lab Troi, and then my Pembroke Welsh Corgi willie who was with me for 17years. I also have a 16 year old orange tabby cat who absolutely loves dogs. I have been watching animals through Rover since 2016 and have met some fantastic cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits and fish. I have experience both with younger dogs who need lots of attention as well as older dogs who might need some extra care. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have.

Holly really enjoys her stays with Steve. It makes our travels much easier knowing that she is in good hands with him!

Steve is a real sweetheart. Toodles was completely happy staying with him for the weekend.

Our dog stayed with Steve for 9 nights. She was happy and healthy and excited when we returned. She didn’t mind we left her because she was well cared for and had other dogs to play with. We will definitely use Steve again!

Steve is so very sweet. Juniper is a big puppy with lots of energy and emotions. Tbh, an exhausting toddler. He has so much love to give he just explodes. Until he collapses into sweet dreaming mode😂 Steve has been so patient and understanding of family circumstances and has been so supportive. Even reinforcing training and exposure on the daily to keep Junie the bestest boy ever. I’m grateful for Steve.

Steve is amazing. He loves animals. He was very responsive and came to meet them before hand. Will definitely book again!

Excellent communication and quick response for a late request. Great reports and photos of our senior kitty boy that also gets meds (ground in wet food). Personable and definitely recommend.

Schedule
I focus on your pets full time! I do need to step in and out throughout the day for walks and potty visits but I will be here with your pup the majority of the day.
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
My yard is completely fenced in with a locked back gate. While stepping out I crate all the dogs so nobody has an opportunity to get into anything they’re not supposed to.
Pets
A typical day
I live in a quiet neighborhood that is very close to Holcomb Baseball fields, every morning we wake up early for some yard time then have breakfast. I normally need to step in and out a few times during the day for walks and drop in visits, but will be home most of the day. We have lots of potty breaks and yard time differs with the temperature, on hotter days I limit their outside time, cooler days I let them spend as much time out there as they like.
