Terra was so flexible when we had to make some last minute changes to her care schedule due to our kitty, Nickel, coming down with a UTI the morning we were leaving for vacation. Terra proceeded to take such great care of Nickel. She kept us regularly updated about how Nickel was doing, and sent pictures, which were so comforting to see. Nickel was not so sure about taking his meds from a new person, but Terra did a great job working with him and trying different strategies to help him. All-in-all, Terra went above and beyond in so many ways, and we feel so fortunate that our little guy was in her care. We definitely highly recommend, Terra!”

About: I have had pets since I was 6 years old. What started out as a single toy poodle when I was six has blossomed into a total of 3 dogs, 2 cats, 4 birds, and numerous fish across my 31 years on this earth. I have loved every single one of my pets and wouldn't know what a world without pets would be like. I currently have a Maltipoo named Addi and a Siberian Forest Cat named Mia. These two rascals are my world and I love every second spent with them. I currently work full time, so I am not able to provide services on weekdays until after 5 pm. On weekends I am available any time after 8 am. I do spend one week a month out of town for work. I also spend some weekends out of town back in my hometown. Otherwise I am very flexible to working with you! I absolutely love my pets! I take my dog, and even my cat for walks around my yard. I also have a fenced in balcony that I let my dog and cat out on multiple times a day. Quality of life for my animals is one of the highest priorities in my life. I provide a loving home for my cat and dog and that shows through their personalities. My dog is always happy! She loves life and it shows. My cat is extremely laid back and trusts me with everything. She lets me do whatever I want with her. She's like a limp doll when I pick her up, without a care in the world. Making sure every pet is taken care of, feels safe, and at peace is my highest priority. I treat every animal as if it is my own. I know how hard it is to leave your babies behind in someone else's care. However, know that your animals will receive the best care in the world under my supervision. I will provide routine updates along with photos and videos, if requested.

About: I have taken care of my own dogs for over 10 years. I had a puppy that I walked, fed, trained ever since I was younger. I also currently have a senior dog that requires a lot of care and love. Even though it is tough as she gets older and moves slower, I always give her as much effort as I can to make sure she is comfortable and cared for. Dogs have my whole heart and I love taking care of them and letting them know they are loved! I currently work full time but am free in the evenings and some afternoons on weekdays. Also, I am free all mornings/afternoons on the weekends. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to run around and play in. I live in a quiet neighborhood, great for walks. I will make sure to be interactive and attentive and gets lots of time to play.

About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 years old and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats and currently have four dogs of my own, so caring for pets has always been a huge part of my life. I currently work at a dog daycare in Lawrence, where I care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My job includes supervising playgroups, feeding, giving medications, monitoring behavior, and making sure every dog is safe and happy. Working with so many different dogs has taught me how important it is to treat every pet as an individual. I’m also very comfortable caring for cats. Whether your cat is outgoing and social or prefers their own space, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and stress free while you’re away. I recently graduated high school and will be attending JCCC this fall to start my pre-veterinary studies. My goal is to become a veterinarian, so caring for animals isn’t just a job for me it’s something I’m truly passionate about! My boyfriend, Cameron, accompanies me on pet sitting visits. If you’d prefer I come alone, that’s absolutely fine! I’m always happy to do whatever makes you most comfortable. When we do meet in greets- I can bring him along! I work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I’m available before work, during my breaks, and after work. I also have full availability on weekends and Mondays. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule, and I do my best to be flexible to meet your pet’s needs. When I’m caring for your pet in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible.
