About: Hi! I go by Ronan and am currently a student at KU (Rock Chalk!) studying elementary special education. I have always had a deep love of animals! My family has had at least 3 dogs my whole life, on top of a cat and three rabbits, all of which I have had a hand in taking care of as soon as I was old enough for chores, and eventually majority of the responsibility in feeding, walking, and playing with them, in addition to the general upkeep that comes along with pets. I also have many years of experience looking after other family's pets, with the largest family consisting of 6 dogs, 2 cats, and a whole reptile room! I have been a part of 4-H and competed in multiple FFA competitions for plants, animals, and vetrinary science for most of my life. I still want to keep working with animals, even though I have my own sweet fur baby cat. I am extremely active and love playing with animals until they're worn out (if thats what they want) or just giving them tlc! As a student at KU, I leave for class around 7:30 every weekday morning and return around 4 PM, except on Wednesdays and Fridays, when I return around 6-6:30 PM. On weekends, I have flexible availability! I live in an apartment, but it has a lot of open space, and I live close to parks such as South Park and North Park. I have a sweet girl cat who loves all living creatures. I can easily crate any pet who needs to be crated, and I have plenty of forms of enrichment! If in your home I of course will only go into areas you tell me, and will make sure your space is as nice as you left it :) I will also make sure to be careful with doors if needed if there is a chronic escape artist.

About: I grew up on a farm taking care of a wide variety of animals, and have a senior husky of my own who is my family. Compassionate care and enrichment is my specialty - exploring sniff spots, play time, having a calm demeanor, and understanding animal behavior is essential to ensure they are happy and healthy! I have logged over 500+ hours as a wildlife rehabber, which includes caring for a variety of animals with different needs and diets, administering medication, and even tube feeding the young so they can eventually be placed back into their natural habitat. Originally from Topeka, I've volunteered extensively at Helping Hands Humane Society and now at the Lawrence Humane Society, spending time in the cat and dog socialization areas. Pets are our family. Whether your dog loves long adventures, leisurely walks, or simply relaxing at home, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pet is being treated with the same care and attention I'd give my own. I work a remote job which means I have flexibility to take care of your pet(s) throughout the day, and of course flexibility in the evenings and weekends. I am highly active and take advantage of getting steps in, and what better way to do that than with a furry friend (or two)! I currently do not offer in-home care at this time due to limited space. However, I am available to visit your home for check-ins and walks.

About: I’m originally from Florida, where there certainly is a wide range of dogs to experience! I’ve always been around dogs, the one in the family and friend circle people call to drop their pets off with for any vacation, or trip they may need. I’ve done tons of volunteering but I’ve always wanted animals to essentially take up my whole life so to speak! When I moved here to Lawrence and saw how many more opportunities there was for this kind of thing I was ecstatic. I’m currently working at a daycare and boarding center where I get to spend my time taking care of animals, managing playgroups, and meeting so many sweet different pups! I would love to just keep expanding and opening up possibilities for myself to take care of and provide top level care for people’s pets! With my current job shifts are usually no more than 5-6 hours and I work in the morning a lot (getting off at about 1) so I usually have a lot of time left in the day! Sunday is my only day that I’m pretty much unavailable altogether! Other than that depending on the time frame you’re looking for a walk/check in I am more than able to work around! I have two large dogs myself so needing a large dog, a puller, or reactive pup walked is no problem for me! I love spending time with animals in any way, shape or form. So it won’t bug me if you prefer your pup walked to a specific spot every day, or if you need them checked in purely to be given a kiss and a treat at a certain time in the day! If there’s anything you’re curious of please don’t hesitate to ask! I’ve administered medicine, handled more than one dog at a time, done specialized food/care for pups, and helped out/sat in on training sessions!

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 13 and house sat since I was 15!! I was also a kennel tech for a year! This included giving medication, bathing, feeding, and just plain old watching the pets! I know CPR for our fury friends too! I have two dogs of my own as well as four cats so I am completely comfortable with a variety. I am a college student working on my masters online while working another job as well. My schedule is pretty straight forward for me so pet care will fit well as long as I keep my calendar balanced. I am comfortable house sitting for both dogs and cats. I am more than capable of crating or letting pets out to potty. I usually keep treats on me anytime I care for a furry friend. When I walk animals, I usually go for 30 minutes to an hour so that they get the excercise needed. I also have bags for when they do their business on a walk.

About: I've taken care of animals both big and small, in single pet households and multi-pet homes. I like to spend time getting to know each animal under my care so any walks/visits/ stays can be as fun and relaxing for the animal as possible. A majority of my pet care has been at home stays for dogs with anxiety or just need a little extra attention. I've also cared for reptiles, birds, and small mammals in addition to dogs and cats. I'm currently working part time online which allows for pet care to be a focus in my life. Depending on the pet and client, I can visit as often as needed to make sure that your pet is having the best outcome of my services. A majority of the animals I take care of stay at their own homes, so I make sure to visit often and for as long as needed for the animal to get as much enrichment out of my visit before they calm down and are ready for me to leave. This includes mealtimes, making sure their water/area is clean, playing with toys and/or enrichment activities, and cleanup before heading out. If staying in a clients home, I follow the routine of that pet as set by the owner to give as much minimal disruption as possible.

About: I started pet sitting a couple years ago for my family and friends and it’s truly a job I love doing. I have experience with pet sitting several different dogs, varying in age and breed. I have experience with senior dogs. My responsibilities while pet sitting dogs included taking dogs on daily walks, preparing food and water, administering medication, and even giving baths. I have selected that I’m available on all weekdays, because I have several gaps between classes that will allow me check on and take care of your pets every 2-4 hours. About: Hello my name is Quincie! I am an animal lover and I provide excellent care to cats and dogs. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats never not having at least one around. I have always taken care of my own pets but as far as other people’s pets I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for friends and family since I was about 10 years old. I also have experience with animals that have very high needs. I’ve had insane puppies that need lots of guidance and training, senior cats and dogs that need patience, pets with important medical needs, and I’ve even owned a cat with diabetes who needed insulin injections twice daily with strict eating schedules. Currently I am working at a doggy daycare and boarding facility in Lawrence Kansas. I recently moved here and am wanting to start pet sitting again! Currently I typically work 6:30am-1:30pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays so I am typically available after 1:30 especially if I can get a heads up. On Sundays I work from 12pm-5pm and am available before or after. I am off Wednesdays and Saturdays and am available most of the time. Please reach out if you have any scheduling questions. In clients home I will follow their exact instructions and use my best judgment. I understand that all pets and pet parents operate differently so I think it is best to do what your pet is used to while you are away especially with nervous pets.

About: Ive owned cats and dogs my whole life! I’ve cat and dog sat many times for neighbors and family and have been reliable and love it every time. I’m currently working part-time while also being a full-time college student. My schedule shouldn’t vary too much in weekdays until I get my schedule for my other job.
