About: Growing up I was never without a pet. We always had cats and dogs. I have helped care for pets since I was a little girl and often watched animals for family friends. I had my very first dog at 18 who turned out to be deaf. Taking care of him was not easy but so worth all the love we shared. Sadly he passed away from Cancer in 2013. I live a few blocks from the Eudora Elementary school and love walking the trail that goes behind it. I find joy in watching my own animals run and play. I treat all animals as if they were my own children. I currently work through the week but I am looking to grow my clients through Rover so I may watch animals full time as I absolutely love them! Right now I am available in the early afternoon/evening and most weekends to do check-ins. I currently work from home and can do doggy day care or boarding through the week and your pet will not be left alone. I hope to be able to watch animals full time eventually. I am married and have a 7 year old son. My husband and son share in my love for animals. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs who are super spoiled just like our son. We love to play and cuddle as a family. Our favorite is to cuddle up on the couch with our fur babies and watch a movie. In the client's home I will respect specific requests and respect your home as if it were my own. I can assure a safe, loving, and loyal friend to walk/care your animal. I will gladly take and send picture updates while with your pet to help ensure your pets safety. I'm also happy to help with an special accommodations your pet needs.

About: I started pet sitting a couple years ago for my family and friends and it’s truly a job I love doing. I have experience with pet sitting several different dogs, varying in age and breed. I have experience with senior dogs. My responsibilities while pet sitting dogs included taking dogs on daily walks, preparing food and water, administering medication, and even giving baths. I’m currently a college student at the University of Kansas, and I am taking classes on the weekdays. I have selected that I’m available on all weekdays, because I have several gaps between classes that will allow me check on and take care of your pets every 2-4 hours. After 3 o’clock on every weekday except Thursday I will be able provide full time care as well as on weekends. My goal is to provide the best care for your pet, and I’m prepared to walk, play, feed, crate, clean and do whatever is needed to provide your pet with the best care.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 13 and house sat since I was 15!! I was also a kennel tech for a year! This included giving medication, bathing, feeding, and just plain old watching the pets! I know CPR for our fury friends too! I have two dogs of my own as well as four cats so I am completely comfortable with a variety. I am a college student working on my masters online while working another job as well. My schedule is pretty straight forward for me so pet care will fit well as long as I keep my calendar balanced. I am comfortable house sitting for both dogs and cats. I am more than capable of crating or letting pets out to potty. I usually keep treats on me anytime I care for a furry friend. When I walk animals, I usually go for 30 minutes to an hour so that they get the excercise needed. I also have bags for when they do their business on a walk.

Never left a second early. She made sure to send me pictures, which I loved and made me feel confident that my cats were being cared for. I was able to enjoy my vacation and not have to check in with her everyday to ensure she was doing what needed to be done. When I got home, the house was just as we’d left it. Ashlyn even brought in a package from outside when we didn’t ask her to!! I will absolutely use Ashlyn again (if she takes me)”

About: I've trained service dogs and puppies. I've also cared for multi-animal (species and number) households and I've been doing so my whole life. Whether the dog is big or small, I'd love to help! Pet care is an integral part of my daily or weekly routine. I have ADHD that leans towards forgetting to do stuff for myself. To counter that, I connect my human activities with my pet activities. Like "I fed the dogs and cats" and then the next sentence is "Oh! I will feed myself too!" I have crate trained dogs before and can reinforce that training to ensure that dogs feel safe and secure in their resting area. I like to familiarize myself with their habits. For instance, where does your dog like to go for a walk? How do they exercise? What's their favorite treat and when do they usually get them? Do they like doing a particular activity? This is my client's home and with that it is my client's pet's home. I take that to heart and try to embed these habits into their daily routine so that they can be cared for well and in the way that they know.

About: I am reliable, attentive, and genuinely love animals. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away, and I always follow routines and instructions closely. I am currently at home for the summer from college and pet care fits easily into my routine, allowing me to provide consistent attention, exercise, feeding, and companionship throughout the day! I care for pets by following their normal routines, including feeding, walks, playtime, and cleaning up after them. I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for whether I’m in my home or my client’s home, and I always respect specific instructions provided by the owner.

Some of my favorite memories include going dog sledding with my husky when I was younger, which really built my connection with dogs, and rescuing a very sick kitten we found on the street in Texas and helping bring it back to health. I’m active, attentive, and treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and get the exercise they need. As a high school senior, I balance school with staying active and spending time outside with friends. During the week, I’m most available after 3 PM once school is done. On weekends, I’m typically available in the mornings on both Saturday and Sunday. While I’m still in school, I do my best to stay flexible and reliable with scheduling. Safety and trust are really important to me when caring for dogs. I live in a home with three large, energetic dogs, so I have daily, hands-on experience walking them, playing with them, and cleaning up after them. Even though we have a big yard, I regularly take them to nearby public land so they can run safely and explore new environments. That experience has made me confident handling strong, active dogs while keeping them secure, aware of surroundings, and well cared for at all times.

About: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is a true passion of mine. I live with my dog and two cats, so my home is already filled with plenty of love, pet-friendly energy, and experience across both canine and feline personalities. As a teacher, my schedule is predictable and routine, which means my evenings and weekends are wide open and completely dedicated to spending quality time with the pets in my care. Since I am home during those times, your pet will have constant companionship, structured routine, and plenty of attention when they need it most. Whether it's an evening stroll, a weekend trip to the dog park, or just relaxing on the couch together, my routine gives me plenty of dedicated focus for your furry family member. Safety, comfort, and keeping your home environment stable are my top priorities. Because I already have a dog and two cats, my preference is to care for your pets directly in their own home. Overnight in-home sitting or drop-in visits allow your furry family members to stay in their familiar, comfortable surroundings with their normal routines completely uninterrupted. I know how important a calm, safe environment is for pets, and staying in their own space eliminates the stress of introducing them to a new territory or other animals. Whenever I am on walks or taking your dog out to local trails or parks, safety remains paramount. I always keep pets securely leashed during outdoor transitions and supervise every outdoor interaction closely to ensure a safe, fun, and reliable experience.

About: I raised my first dog to a healthy, ripe 17 years of age. My new pup is a rescue and I have helped her become an obedient (mostly), well-mannered good girl. We take walks everyday, even when it’s cold. I have patient and a calm demeanor which I believe most dogs need when interacting with a new person. I work during the day M-F most of the time. I am free in the evenings and on weekends. Currently working part time so my schedule is a bit more open. I have an energetic puppy that loves to run around at the dog park at my apartment complex. I typically crate my dog when I’m not home. Okay with having dogs free at client’s house if that what the pup is most comfortable with.

About: I love dogs and cats like they are my best friends because they are the most loving, loyal creatures I’ve ever met on this planet! They make me so happy always! I have an hour lunch during the week and weekends are usually free! If I commit to watching a dog/cat for several days in a row whether checking in or staying at their home, I make sure they are well taken care of cuz that’s really all that matters. They get all my love and attention! I have a pet friendly house but much rather take care of them at their own home as it’s likely more familiar/comfortable for them and convenient for the pet’s owner.

About: Grew up with beagles and now have pit bulls. There is very little I haven’t seen or helped out with in my life. Excited to meet your dogs and do my best! Working full time teaching right now but can possibly get out for an hour and half for lunches. Anytime availability from 4pm to 10 pm on weekdays. Treat every animal I encounter like my own. Let them get comfortable with me first and then continue to progress our companionship from that point. Love being outside so dogs will get a lot of safe outside time

This is the first time I have let a stranger watch my dog so I was extremely nervous leaving, but her updates put my mind at ease. We did a meet and greet/run through of care before I left. Booster (my dog) interviewed her and gave the signal she would be a good fit to care for him. She followed instructions well and gave exceptional care. I couldn’t recommend her more!!”

About: I have worked at a vet, taken care of my own animals as well as family and friends. I have dealt with dogs and cats of all sizes. It will work with my job, get me exercise, and give me extra income I need. If I didn't have a weakness to blood, I would have been a veterinarian. I always make sure that they are exercised, played with, and taken to a park if necessary. I never hurt an animal but believe in discipline.

About: I am a full time pet sitter & have years of experience with dogs, cats & some other animals. I absolutely love taking care of your furry family members ❤ My background is in nursing & a vet tech so if you pet would need medical care or medication I have no problems doing that! I absolutely love taking care of your furry family members ❤ I love getting down to their level and playing with them and loving on them! I feel it's very important to keep them in their own environment and stick to their schedules as to not add any extra stress or anxiety. I prefer to hang out at your house instead of doing drop in's for the same price unless you live really close! I think your furry family members appreciate that more than having someone there all of the time vs coming and going. I don't just sit around, I'm very active with your cats & dogs to wear them out unless they are seniors and then I just provide lots of love and cuddles ❤ I very much enjoy what I do & that's why I do it full time. I always take care of your furry family members as if they were my own. I do pet sitting full time & do not work another job any more. I work my schedule around my pet sitting for the most point. I may have an appointment that I have to run to but that's about it. I want to stick to your pets own schedules to not throw them off! I only care for pets in their home to keep them in their own environment to keep their stress levels & anxiety down. To help keep them safe for example if you don't have a fence & you tell me that they can still go outside on their own, I would probably put a leash on them for a while to make sure that they don't try to dart away after a squirrel! or something until I felt comfortable & for their safety. I always go outside with them to watch & gain there trust even if you have a fence. I also walk around the yard to help gain the dogs trust & make sure that the environment is safe whether permitting. My main goal is to gain your animals trust, learn & make sure the environment is safe & trustworthy.

About: I have always loved dogs and grew up with my own and truly enjoy taking care of them. I'm dependable, attentive, and experienced with petsitting, I will treat your animals like family. I work full time, but have a flexible enough schedule to care for your pets. I am very willing to negotiate a flexible schedule to meet you and your pets needs. I am free in the evenings and weekends! I would prefer staying at my clients home. I have found that this is easier for the pet to be comfortable in their own home and space.

About: I am married and have two daughters and a son. They are 12, 8, and 5. I have a wonderful German Shepherd, an Alaskan Klee Kai, and a 20 pound cat named Karen. We love caring for other animals. We have a big yard so there’s plenty of room to run.! I can come to your home or board in ours. We are very active individuals. Both my husband and I are runners. Just let me know if you have anymore questions and I would be more than willing to answer them! We are very flexible with our schedules. My husband works full-time, but I drive for Uber so I can make my own schedule when needed. We try to stay as active as possible and play with pets in the home. We have a German shepherd that loves the extra play time!
