About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for neighbors, family, and friends since I was about six years old. My experience includes walking, feeding, playing, and keeping pets on their usual routines while their owners are away. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, including older dogs that need a slower pace. I also have experience with cats and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I focus on being dependable, attentive, and making sure pets feel comfortable and well cared for. I am unable to come for pets in my own home but am more than comfortable coming to yours. Tell me their favorite toys and games, things they dislike (walks on leashes, paws being touched, etc.), silly quirks they may have, medication details and administration, fears or triggers they have and what to do if these arise, and any unconventional behaviors or references you guys may have… I get it, some pets need different things! I also want to hear what you love about your pet. What are some ways I can care for them while making sure they are still getting the love and comfort they get from you? I am a full-time online grad student. I am working part time in the area and my schedule is very consistent and not flexible. I work Tuesday-Saturday 11:30am-4:30pm. I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort in both my home and my client’s home. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, and routines. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure, and I always supervise pets during walks and playtime. I keep environments clean, calm, and low-stress, and I’m careful to notice any changes in behavior or health. I treat every home with respect and make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away.

About: I have been caring for a variety of animals for as long as I can remember, from dogs and cats to lizards and snakes. My family neighbors and friends have trusted me with their pets and homes for a very long time. I have done a lot of tasks like walking training cleaning and of course playing I care for my own dog on a daily basis, and I will be happy to do jobs at anytime between my other job and other activities. I will play with your pets and can take them for walks and potty breaks. I will also stay with them overnight if need be.

About: I have been caring for my own friends' and family members' pets for a long time, and have 3 pets of my own (a dog, cat and a bearded dragon). I am experienced and comfortable caring for a variety of different pets and have experience caring for senior animals. I will be working part-time starting in August, so I am looking for morning and/or evening dog walking, cat and dog sitting, and weekend care. I would prefer to care for pets in a client's home because I have pets of my own and would need to make sure all pets are happy with the arrangement and able to get along.

About: I have had dogs in my life for more than 25 years. I have adopted and fostered a variety of pets, including a couple with trauma in their past. All of our experiences have been positive and we have forged great bonds. I have been through dog training and have experience with administering medications. We have a roomy home and a nice backyard for play etc. Our household is low key and we are very flexible. I am happy yo come to your home as well, I understand that can be more comfortable for your pets. I have experience working with pets that are not my own, you can be confident that I have seen it all, nothing upsets me! I work a part time job, and also have a home-based business, with lots of flexibility in my schedule. My husband is retired, he is my backup so coverage is not an issue. In your home, I follow the guidelines you establish. If something unexpected comes up, I get in touch with you or use my discretion (depending on urgency and situation). Since I have raised my own children, owned multiple dogs, have worked in Elder Care, and now work as a Nanny, handling crazy things and responding to true emergencies is part of my skill set. In my own home, we have a relaxed routine, and we have time to spend with our doggie guests. We have created a calming environment to help manage any separate anxiety or stress. (We do not currently have our own pets, sadly)

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for years! I have lots of experience with different breeds and many different types of caregiving. Some of my experience includes watching two very active pit bull mix siblings. I would check in on the dogs 4+ times per day, take each one on a 2+ mile walk every day, and spend at least 1-2 hours of sit down time so they weren’t lonely. I watched those lovely dogs for 2-3 weeks at a time for numerous years! My most recent experience was taking care of Two english pointers, a rottweiler, and smaller mutt dog for 3 nights! Each dog had a separate feeding space and interactive form of eating. I made sure to follow their owners specific instructions and give the dogs lots of walks, outside time, and sit down time for 5+ hours a day! As well as the dogs I took care of two goats at that home as well! I am very capable of walking and pet sitting many different dogs. I have experience with smaller dogs like Mini poodles, to high energy large dogs like weimaraners. I will do my best to give your animals the love and care they deserve. I will make sure that they are healthy, safe, and most importantly happy! I pet sit in STL over the summer and Lawrence KS from August-May Between May-August I work part time at the Sunset Country club. Even with my work I should and will be able to schedule and give your pets the best of care that includes at least 3 or more check ins per day and walks twice or more a day, depending on their needs and your request. I do not work Mondays, which makes me more free! From August-May I am a full time student with a lot of free time to walk pets, stop in, watch them, and more! I care for pets to the best of my ability and give them the most love and care I am capable of! Between my two households, I have 2 dogs and recently one that passed. I take care of my pets and others pets to the best of my ability and want to ensure that your pets are cared for and you trust and are confident that they are healthy, safe, and most importantly, happy! I will always adjust to you and your pets needs, so please communicate openly and fully so I can do my best to give your pets the best!

About: I have taken care of dogs within my family, friends of the family. I take daily walks with all 3 of mine each day, make sure to keep track of their health. I enjoy taking dogs places like the park, I have realized a dogs best therapy is being outdoors where they truly can be themselves. I am currently a student at the University of Kansas and summer is here. It will definitely fit into my schedule now since I have a lot more availability and flexibility. I make sure that they are on a schedule, fed certain times a day, with certain measurements, make sure that they have what they need at all times. Whether that be taking them for a walk, having a good belly rub, or even getting them their favorite treat!

I am 19 years old and have been working/trained with dogs for at least 10+ years of my life. What started my childhood dog, Katy, continues to be an inspiration for the reach of my life. I work full time during weekdays & weekends are usually pretty open. I am open to dog/house sitting anywhere that is in a 40-45 minute radius of Overland Park. If you live 45 minutes or more from Overland Park I request an additional fee for drive time. I want to go above and beyond for your pets and make sure all their needs are met for you! I have been around them my whole life and wouldn't want it any other way. I come from a large, mostly rural dwelling family, my grandma had 11 kids 2/3 of which have at least 1 or more dog(s) including my mom. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. In short, if either by choice or necessity you find yourself in need of a caretaker for your 4-legged (or more) companion(s), know that I would be elated for the opportunity and you can be assured that their health and well-being will invariably be at the forefront of my mind in all that I do while they're in my care. About: I grew up around dogs and have always had a love for caring for animals. From a young age, I helped take care of my own dogs and would also help family members by babysitting, walking, feeding, and spending time with their dogs. About: In my day job I am a home health/ Hospice assistant so I not only have experience taking care of people I also take care of people's fur babies when they are unable to. I also grew up with dogs so there is not a day that goes by in 25 years I have not taken care of a furry friend I currently work monday through friday 730am to 330 pm so afternoons and weekends are when I am most avaliable, and over nights as needed. I have vast knowledge of walking safety, leash control/safety, environmental triggers, and the importance of hydration and rest. When pet setting, I like to have a secure outdoor/ yard area, i stick to the owner and dogs set routine,and I like to respect that I am a guest in the animals home

About: I have over 8 years of experience caring for pets through apps such as Wag and Sittercity, as well as clients through recommendations. I have experience administering oral and surface medications. I do work full time but I live where I work so it is easy to step out of my office and come to my home and relieve pets. I can also work from home if need be to spend extra time with your pet. My weekend availability will always be open as I only work Monday through Friday. My apartment is very spacious. They would have access to only the living room if I am away but all other spaces when I am home. I have space for a crate if you prefer to have that in the space. Within your home, I am completely respectful and adjust to the rules already set forth in the home as I am just a visitor.

About: Since I was 6 years old I've had so much experience in caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. Everyday I aim to be adventurous and create memories with your pet whether its trying a new trail or a new trick and making sure that your furbaby is safe and sound everyday in my hands or home. I support positive reinforcement and not punishment. A hand will never come close to your pet nor will any sort of aggression. Every pet is different and I'm open to any obstacles along the way. I do love to take pictures, so plenty of pictures of your dog or cat will be provided with prior permission to ensure plenty of memories are created. In my personal home I currently have no pets of my own so your furbaby will be receiving full attention. I also have access to a dog park and local parks with walking trails and a huge dog park.
