About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs in a variety of professional settings. I’ve worked as a kennel technician, veterinary assistant, groomer, and trainer, so I know how to handle pets with all kinds of personalities and needs. I’m certified in pet CPR and safety, and I’m confident caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—including those with medical needs or behavioral quirks. Whether it’s giving meds, going for long walks, brushing out a coat, or just giving belly rubs and playtime, your pet’s well-being and comfort are always my top priorities. I treat every pet like my own and provide calm, patient, and attentive care—because they deserve it! I’d love to meet your furry family member and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I recently moved back to Kansas and am in the exciting process of starting my own pet care business—so I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available to provide pet care any time! I’m pet CPR and first aid certified, with hands-on experience in safety holds and bite prevention. I’m also well-versed in canine body language and have experience safely managing and de-escalating tense situations, including separating dog fights if necessary. Your pet’s safety is my top priority, and I’m fully prepared to handle emergencies or behavioral challenges with calm, confident care.

26. Kylee L.
“Kylee was a WONDERFUL Rover sitter! She was on time based on our agreement every day, she treated my pup like her own, and sent the best pictures! I will definitely book her again! (Once Coronavirus allows me to get back to business as usual).”

I feel our fur babies are our family and I know how important it is to be genuine and caring to yours. I'm currently working a schedule that I have some flexibility with. I am able to change my schedule most days and would love to try to work a few hours of caring for your babies into my day. I use positive reinforcement, awareness, and confindence. I provide my pets and your pets, safety and love. I have experience in training dogs. I have found Positivity and reinforcement often works best!

28. Adam K.
About: I grew up with dogs of all sizes and a few cats. They were each silly, independent, and loving in their own ways - they all taught me the importance of recognizing each pet’s unique personality, just like people. Whether your pet is a couch potato or hyperactive, I’m ready to meet them where they’re at and love them how they need, just like you do. I work part time (~10-15 hrs a week), so I’ve got plenty of free time to hang with your furry friend. My schedule is flexible and I’m willing to discuss what level of care and interaction your pet needs. I’m a safe, respectful sitter. I take cues from your pet to know what’s comfortable for them, and that comfort level is constantly in negotiation. I’m also a clean guest and will leave everything just as I found it.

29. Madelynn H.

“Madelynn took great care of our dogs while we were out of town!! I would highly recommend her to anyone!!”

30. Angela P.

“Angela was such an attentive sitter for my cats. Good about sending pics and following instructions. My fur babies were very calm when I got home, so they clearly got play time and cuddles while I was gone. You'll love Angela!”

31. Christopher H.

32. Sierra K.

33. Abraham F.
“Our dogs love Abe! We have two pretty crabby older ladies, and the rottweiler is VERY particular about who she chooses to befriend. Abe is definitely one of her favorites! He is always generous with his time in giving each dog individual attention. They're always happy to see him.”

34. Adrienne R.
“Adrienne watches my goldendoodle, Juneau Baby, whenever we are gone. She is exceptional. Juneau is pretty much our child and we don’t trust her with anyone, and it is so wonderful that we have someone we can trust to watch her when we are out of town. We feel she loves Juneau as much as we do, listens to all our instructions, sends updates about everything, and overall, keeps us feeling good about going on vacation or taking time away. WE LOVE ADRIENNE - best dog watcher there is!!!!”

35. Summer L.
“Summer has been a game changer for our two dogs! She has worked with our dogs for several years, including walks and overnight stays when we go out of town. We hated boarded them at kennels because they would always get sick and not eat much. Now we go on vacation without worry because our dogs are in good hands. Summer goes above and beyond the basic walk. She teaches them manners while walking - I’ve noticed their leash reactivity decrease dramatically! If it rains, she dries them off and cleans up muddy paw prints. She’s brought in garbage cans and even 5 gallon water jugs, all without my asking. She also brings the mail inside and keeps us updated on any issues. Any homeowner knows that as soon as you leave town, something will go wrong! So it’s nice having someone check on the house while we’re away. I highly recommend Summer, you’ll wonder how you ever managed without her!”

40. Heidi B.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats and currently work at a cats-only veterinary office. I’ve learned so much beyond my prior knowledge from owning cats and dogs myself. I love both animals, but am particularly fond of our feline friends! I work part time+, so my schedule is fairly flexible, depending on the day. I’m an available most weekends as well! I don’t mind late night visits either. I personally have a dog and two cats that I keep up to date on veterinary needs including parasite prevention. I am comfortable giving most medications and am trained in stress free cat handling.
